Mae has completely changed the look of my hair! I've been visiting her for a while now, and she's a wizard with extensions! When it comes to matching your extensions to your hair, Mae makes sure the colour blends in flawlessly with your natural hair! The team always takes care of me, my hair always looks amazing, and they make sure I'm informed of what's going on at all times. She also teaches you how to take care of your hair and what the best products are so your hair stays healthy. The hairstylists that work there are the greatest, and they do incredible work so you never leave disappointed. I found it very hard to trust people with my hair since I’ve had bad experiences with extensions and colour in the past, but I put my trust in Mae and the team and it is beyond worth it. xxx

Love the team at Andrew Mae hair! I legitimately won't go anywhere else to get my hair done. Colour is always done amazingly, hair is cut to perfection, and I am feeling like a 11/10 when I leave. Would recommend to everyone and anyone for the best and most professional service.

I had the most incredible hair transformation with Maeve today, she was amazing with accommodating my appointment even though they are swamped with post lockdown and Pre-Christmas appointments which I super appreciate that they could fit me in! All of the staff is always so friendly, the salon is very clean “an absolute beautiful, peaceful space to unwind while having your hair done” ❤️ Thank you so much for my new hair 😀

This was my first time coming to this hair salon, but it won’t be my last. Andrew Mae is one of the only salons in Auckland that can do maintenance for most hair extension techniques. I just had my hair extensions redone and I could not be happier! The service here is top notch!! All the staff members are so friendly, welcoming and talented. I got to admit - the services here come with a slightly bigger price tag, but in the end it’s all so worth it because you will walk out feeling like a princess. This hair salon is also beautifully decorated!

Omg where do I start…my hair was literally the worst from being damaged to box dyed it was BAD..I’ve always stalked Andrew Mae and wanted to come here but felt broke but finally saved money and decided to come..I honestly did not expect this at all..the outcome was insane and I’m over the top happy..worth every penny honestly..I wanna thank you all for the amazing job - here’s a picture for you all to see

What an incredible and talented team! They always treat me kindly and I respect how straightforward and honest they are. It's always a pleasure to visit Nicole at Andrew Mae Hair Boutique. I've been to many high-end salons and nothing compares to Nicole's wealth of knowledge about hair colouring. I'm always at ease knowing that I can trust her creativity and artistry. Nicole's specialty is balayage, but her cuts are also great and always tailored to your individual needs and face-shape. The owner at Andrew Mae is kind and welcoming, and is an expert in hair extensions. The hair products are well priced and catered for a range of hair types without being overwhelming. It's a total experience walking into the beautifully styled salon with a lovely cup of complimentary coffee/juice or lemon & mint infused water. Only down side is they're pretty busy, so make sure you book well in advance! :) Thank you for always looking after me!

I've been to nearly every salon for hair extensions in Auckland and Andrew Mae is by far the best I have ever had! The team there genuinely know their stuff, and you actually have the owner taking care of the extensions so you know that they are really invested in providing a good result, rather than at other salons where you just have technicians who don't take as much care. If you are looking for extensions for the first time, stop because this is the place! Highly Recommended xx

Always a really good hair day with these girls. They take time with their work and are never stingy with their products! Plus, they have excellent listening skills too! Do not look any further if you are looking for the absolute perfect cut or colour! Nicole made me feel so sure about colouring my hair as I was unsure about making a change but I am so in love with the results.. Always the best place to come and get your hair done. Great salon with parking on Dominion Rd. Nicole who I go to is wonderful and always has me leaving with exactly what I wanted. I can finally write a proper review (personal sign in issues lol)! I absolutely recommend Andrew Mae! Location: despite parking, the actual salon is so clean, cute and fabulous! Service: when you come for your consultation and hair appointment you will be asked for drink preferences. The ladies (Maeve, Taree, and Nicole) all welcome you with warm greetings and smiles. If you are there for a long time and dont have a snack - the girls totally have you! I had the lovely Taree who coloured my hair blue/black - absolutely LOVE it - she talked me through every step, made sure I was okay with her advice, and genuinely chatted with me. I love my hair its been something I've been wanting to do for the last five years and you've absolutely made my dreams come true with my hair! DEFINITE recommend DEFINITELY worth the money DEFINITELY coming back!
