Gabby did an awesome job as usual. The only negative about my experience was the other customer at the time....an extremely rude woman who demanded that Gabby blow dry her hair (even though she hadn't paid for a blow dry). This woman threatened to leave a bad review if she didn't get a blow dry. Consequently she got her blow dry (under duress)....and she still left a bad review. (You'll see it below, unless it's been removed for its racist remarks). Do not take any notice of this woman's review......it is completely unjustified. I was there and heard how rude and threatening she was to the staff. The team at Hue Balmoral are caring, competent professionals who do a great job. For some reason, in her review, this woman felt the need to mention the race of other customers at Hue - and then suggest that "staff are selective about which clients they treat professionally and which ones they don't". This is an incredibly racist remark and speaks to the kind of person this woman is. Hairdressers are among many in the service industry who have had an incredibly tough time due to covid lockdowns. Hue Balmoral is a great neighbourhood salon with wonderful staff who take pride in their work. They deserve to be supported. And yes.....I always pay $103 for a permanent root retouch and then I blow dry my own hair.

Rita always does an excellent job on my bleach and tone. It’s a bit pricey but worth it for a great job. They’ve just been bought out by Vivo so I’ll have to see if anything changes.

Rita was my stylist and she was absolutely lovely! She listened to what I wanted and was really considerate of my hair type and making sure it would work out the way I was looking for. Highly recommend and will definitely come back :)

I think this is the first time I've ever reviewed something because I've never felt the need to until now... I am SO happy with my experience here. I had Tessa do an amazing job on my hair, despite my poor explanations of what I wanted she got it exactly how I'd imagined, and worked really hard to make sure it was perfect. I seriously couldn't be happier and every person I came in contact with was really lovely too! I'm so happy I've finally found somewhere that I'm confident I'll be returning to. Thank you guys!!

I stopped in today as I was desperately in need of a bit of help with my hair as I’m 9 months pregnant and my hair was feeling rather neglected. All the ladies were very lovely and knowledgeable. Rosie was good to talk to about colours and very helpful. The trainee girl, who’s name I didn’t catch , gave me a great head massage when washing out the colour ☺️. I payed with genopay so was good as you can pay over 10 payments, which is handy if you are on a budget . I will go back in a few months and maybe go lighter once I’m done paying off this round. Thanks ladies 💕

First experience of this colouring salon.needed advice re greying hair and how to manage it. Used a grab one voucher but because of the length of my hair needed more product to cover length.Came to good compromise over extra money needed. Pleased with advice and result.Thanks.

I had Bridget coloured my hair today. Overall experience was pleasant. Trainee was not amazing at washing hair but she is a trainee and she is very polite and nice. I am happy with Bridget's suggestion and very happy with the results. Good value for money. I'd recommend this place and I'd go again. Thank you.

Great customer service and Dylan did an awesome job lightening up my multi-coloured dark and red hair. Was a bit surprised that a blow dry wasn't included in the price

Ok so I feel so motivated to deliver the very best review I can for the absolute stars in hair colour which are the girls at Hue Balmoral!! My long blonde hair is been loved and treated by the star of that show who hands down even after living overseas for 30 years and enjoying a great life that afforded the best hair results my colour genius Tessa is the finest of them all, she is the holy grail of creating colours and treatments that are an absolute blessing in the business of looking good. Another shining star is Rosie who is heaven sent spoiling you with insanely good head massage and treatments that are worth every $. So if your serious about beauty and being in the solution not the problem of your precious mane then go see Hue and if you are willing to be lucky and get Tessa then sit back and allow the magic of her passion deliver colour to die for.

I've been to Hue Balmoral many times now and Bridget still continues to do an amazing job. A couple of weeks ago I came in with the hope that my blonde would be brought down to a more natural colour, and I have to say that she did a BRILLIANT job and achieved exactly what I asked for. I find it very hard these days to find a good hairdresser who actually makes your visit worthwhile and achieves exactly what you came in for. So if you're wanting to find this I 100% recommend visiting Hue Balmoral and booking in with Bridget, especially if you're blonde like me and are hoping to find a hairdresser who exactly matches the blonde tone that you're after. Not only does she manage to do this but she's also very patient, friendly and super easy to talk to... Extremely pleased.

Rosie is amazing!!! She listens makes suggestions and makes every head look fantastic.... She also has lots of tips and tricks for keeping hair healthy! Thanks Rosie!

Tessa did an amazing job of taking care of my hair and was very accomodating to me wanting space to do my own things to it as well, despite my terrible explanations!!

Excellent place for hair colour very proffesional in advice. Staff very friendly and will talk over with you giving the right colour to suit your style. No hair cutting.

Nice team, easy parking, fairly easy to get an appointment when you want it. Do need to be very specific about the colour you want, but that's fairly standard
