X.I am happy that my favorite hair stylist Borem is back to work! Great attention to details and good asthetics! I have been with her since 2018. Hailey is also great! Best korean salon in town also affordable!

T.Narae is the best hairdresser I encountered in Auckland. She understands what I will be comfortable with and she knows what will suit my face. Instead of following the new trends or hair styles myself, I rather pay a professional hairdresser & stylist to come up with something that will suit me. Each and every time I went to Jin and Jen, Narae came up with a very satisfying color or style. The prices are below European prices. I also like the online booking system which allows me to pick the hairdresser I want.
A.Always know how to work with my thick asian hair. Cuts it fast but still pays attention to details like layering and making hair thinner.
I have full trust in whoever cuts my hair each time

J.Went in to get natural wave (perm) but based on the recommendation of my hairdresser Crystal she said it may damage my hair too much. Previously had my hair bleached in Asia (4yrs ahi) and it’s still recovering.
Opted for permanent straightening. Loved the result and the style Crystal did for me!
Definitely noticeable after my first wash! Blow dried my hair normally and was amazed how dead straight it was! Also now I can go for a week without washing my hair as does not get too oily! Definitely worth it x

J.Narae did my hair and she gave me very honest advice. I didn't like my frizzy hair but she did a great job and my hair now looks naturally wavy💚💙 it's worth every penny.
B.I've had my haircut here twice now. One with Yuki and another with Hailey. Both times I left feeling on top of the world. They were both lovely, asked what I wanted, made great suggestions and double checked everything before doing anything. The price is very good and the quality of my haircuts are the best I've ever had.

C.Had a shampoo, cut and style with Hailey. I am very happy with the cut and style - Hailey seemed to do it very quickly, which I was worried about when I first left, but the cut looks great after a few washes and my own cumbersome styling.
The shampoo was done by someone else, and I felt like it was a bit rushed and not very relaxing. This is also a weird thing to mention but the salon sort of smelled like sweat, so that was slightly unpleasant.
In saying all of that, at the end of the day, the cut was great and that's what matters, so I will go back for that. Also I would like to try their colouring services at some point.
T.Harvey is not not very professional although she is very polite. Recommend Narae, she is creative and innovative. But she is so busy and unavailable, I cannot make an appointment with her this time, so I chose a hairdresser randomly, but was so depressed and do not think it was worth $40 as it only took about 10 mins to cut my hair. Do not trim well.
F.Had a cut and style with Nick who did a fabulous job! So friendly and professional - lots of care was put into my hair.
One of the best cuts I've had and so I'll definitely be back in a few months time!

Narae who cut my hair made me feel like a model after completion. I am sooooooo happy with the outcome.
Also, Narae asked the right questions, gave me the option to choose which style my hair I like it to be positioned before cutting it. Also I loved the hair wash, so professional.
My son loved his hair cut too, he is overwhelmed with joy, as we had a bad experience with his haircut by another company 20 mins prior to arriving at Jin+Jen. His outcome now looks amazing. Thank you so much!

D.Today was the first time that I have visited JIN+JEN Hair Salon. I called at 17:30 and they booked me in by 18:00
$30 for a wash, cut and style. One of the best hair cuts I've had. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Well worth the money and would definitely recommend to anyone to visit.

J.I came for hair cut two times. The Japanese hairdresser was super awesome, however the second time I was served by a korean lady, name was crystal?Christina? She didn’t cut that much well actually it was a bad experience.
K.This place is so good. Got my haircut and permanent wave today by Ivy. She’s such a professional. She recommends me what should I do and what I shouldn’t. Take a bit long and pricey but get what it worth. Will come back again and would likely to recommend this to my friends. Feel sorry for Ivy that she couldn’t have her lunch because she was doing my hair (even I feel hungry by just sitting there waiting for my hair to be done 😂)

M.I go to Jin Jen every month, the people there are lovely and accomodating.
I ask for Crystal Kang, she is my usual stylist.
She does many varying mens hairstyles very well as I ask for different styles every now and then.
The reason I go back is because Crystal is so consistent and I know every-time I'm going to get a good hair cut from her.
Would recommend 10/10.

It is so hard to find a good hairdresser, I’ve been to many places in Auckland and was yet to find a place to become a regular. I was a bit hesitant because of the bad reviews but it looks like it was the previous owner/hairdresser. Would totally recommend it.

S.I will definitely return to JIN + JEN. I had a simple cut with a wash and blow wave by Sean. He was very professional and kind, and managed to deliver a cool cut based off 3 photos. The price was incredibly cheap for Auckland, with the cut being $35 and the wash/wave $20. While there was a language barrier, staff still communicated their best and were able to understand what I wanted. Recommend!

I.I have recently visited Jin + Jen Hair salon for a haircut. Upon describing hair style I wished to have, hair stylist immediately showed me a photo with exactly the same hair style I had in my mind.
I was really happy with the final result.

G.Staff were professional. Did their job well. When I called them they spoke in Korean as it seems they expect most of their customers to be Korean or Chinese. The staff member who looked after me also spoke some Japanese.
After the haircut, some eyebrow trimming was suggested and done without extra charges.
Will visit again.
