Finally got the haircut been wanting for years! I booked at the last minute and the salon made space for me. I think I had Nadine (Saturday afternoon) and she was honestly amazing. When I got a call and had to leave soon she didnt skip a step but ensured I was out earlier. Love the cut and information she gave me about my hair. 100% will keep coming back now that Ive finally found a hairdresser who can do my hair.

I am not one to post reviews. But with an experience as good as mine was at Vivo Sylvia Park, I have too. I was booked in for the New Client Colour & Cut Package with Poalee. I’ve never coloured my hair before, and I’ve also never had good experiences in hair salons. I have very thick (island) hair and every stylist I’ve gone to in the past has said “you have sooo much hair” - Poalee didn’t. She took my hair and she did an amazing job. I was super comfortable, and I am happy with the result - no freak outs here! I didn’t catch the name of the other stylist who jumped in to help with my hair towards the end (lol). But thank you to her as well. Will definitely be back again.

Olivia at sylvia park vivo is amazing!!! one of the most honest stylists I’ve come across who really cares about the quality and health of your hair. She gave me some great advice and recommended products for me to use to get my hair where it needs to be before we go lightening it. So grateful. ❤️

I have been going to Kristeena for almost 3 years now. I was a client of hers at Vivo Remuera and when she moved to Vivo Sylvia park I moved with her. Previously I had such bad results from other hairdressers. Kristeena knows what she is doing and gets you the results that you want. When someone is as good as her I don’t mind paying the money. Highly recommend especially if you are blonde! Always love my hair after seeing her!

Great service and the hair stylists are experienced. Personally I always prefer my hair to be done by Christina. She is just fabulous. She knows what she is doing and does an amazing job. This place is about 35 kms from my place but would rather travel to get satisfactory service rather trying new ones around. Keep up the good work.

14May21 1630 Guys! Save your marriage and home relationship by giving your wife a break from cutting your hair at home. Ring Bethany at Vivo and make a sanity saving appointment. Or you can go to a barber in Otara or Hunters Corner Papatoetoe or Mt Roskill or .. But why forgo the sassy treatment from Bethany and her crew? Or their coffee? Or tea? And the Sylvia Park carpark for Vivo is safe, off street and right outside the Level 1 doors to Vivo! Do yourself a favour. You can even tell Bethany that I sent you. You might not get a discount but you will get special treatment and hair care advice. Did I mention that you'll sit in chairs next to ladies getting their hair done? That's when you'll realise how little you know about life.

Had the best experience with Olivia today. I came in with very little explanation of what I wanted but she read my mind and nailed it. Salon is new and clean. Cant recommend working with Olivia enough. Love your work ladies!!

Had a full head of foils done by Kristeena just over a week ago and was very impressed. She was incredibly professional, listened to what I wanted and then gave her advice as to the best way to achieve the results I am after. The best blend of foils I have ever had, can't see where the foils were whilst still achieving the blonde I wanted. Have been told so many times in the past that achieving a cooler blonde isn't possible with my hair for various reasons but Kristeena made it possible! And to top it all off a fresh straight cut just how I like it, without the usual attempts at convincing me to shape or layer my hair.

Hi , went there on Sunday 16th , needed a haircut . Poalee did my haircut and did great job. The lady was very nice and polite , I wanted different haircut look and did exactly what I wanted . Highly recommend her ❤️

Best cut I've had in a long time, bit weird during covid times and the system seemed a bit glichy since I wanted a cut not a full color. But the lady did everything I asked and made sure it was straight. And not too fuzzy.

Absolutely awesome. For many years I have been a fan of the ombre and ballyage look, always finding a cheap deal that leaves me disappointed. I found a voucher on grabone and although paid extra instore for product due to the length, it wasn't much more than what I normally pay elsewhere, and inflation has increased significantly since i last had it done, but vivo has left me with the best result I've ever had. Great service, great experience, your awesome! Keep up the amazing work 👏

Came in with a grown out balayage on mid brown hair with straggly ends, walking out a perfectly blended blonde with a fresh lob. Haven't been this happy with a hair result in ages. Cannot recommend Kristeena and the team at Vivo Sylvia Park enough! Already rebooked and will be returning repeatedly.

I went to the Sylvia Park branch and had the pleasure of having Crystal as my hair dresser. Crystal was so awesome, she was welcoming and so kind to me and my sister. I was the one getting my hair done and my sister came for support but Crystal was so kind and welcoming to my sister as well. Also her knowledge base for hair in general was fantastic, I highly recommend going to Sylvia Park branch and seeing Crystal also the staff there were so professional and welcoming as well. I look forward to going there again. Thank you Crystal I love my hair colour, cut and style, AAA+++

Friendly staff and easy parking. I was nervous about the Grab One deal, not having been there before and being a bit picky about my hair but was really happy with the results. I went for a balyage and the results are natural and not a stripe in sight. My daughter wants to go now!

I had my first appointment with Kristina on Saturday, and she is amazing! I came in 10 weeks ago as I had a bad experience with a previous hairdresser at another establishment that had completely wrecked my hair by over processing, wrong colour, etc. I wanted it fixed straight away but Kristina talked me through the process that we needed to go through (Olaplex was recommended and is a little miracle worker to use at home) before I could even touch my hair again and cause further damage/hair loss (also having very fine hair). I appreciated Kristina telling me what I needed to do and not what I wanted to hear. The results truly paid off and we have a plan in place. I am so pleased with the results and looking forward to my next visit. Kristina is just lovely and I would recommend her and the overall experience in the salon to anyone looking to make a change, it is work it, take the leap!

Kristeena is now my favourite super hero (sorry Thor). She gave me an honest consultation, listening to my hair concerns and goals. Then she took the time needed to transform my hair, while going above and beyond to achieve results I can only call a dream come true. You can't wipe the smile off my face. Thank you so much! Just got my hair done, Ana did a phenomenal job did what i wanted for the first time! She was so patient and amazing even though i was running late to work she made sure everything was align perfectly. all staff was friendly. I've got asian hair that has been dyed multiple times and with kerasilk treatment. Regardless i was able to walk out of the salon with an amazing colour after one day!

I had a colour and cut with Kristeena this week, wow, wow, happiest I have been in such a long time with a cut and colour. My hair was damaged from previous balayage at another salon and they wanted to do it again even though I knew my hair was dry and damaged. Kristeena agreed my hair was in no condition to tolerate another balayage and she explained why and we worked on a plan to get it healthy and shiny and perhaps a subtle balayage next time. She is so knowledgeable and understood what I wanted to achieve which was cover the grey and have healthy hair

First time client at Vivo Sylvia and I can’t speak highly enough of my overall experience. I booked in for new client balayage/ombré package (purchased an online voucher $189). Massive shoutout to Kristeena and Courtney (please forgive me if I spelt your name incorrectly) I am totally in love with the creamy tone and the depth Kristeena has created. I had my hair made over yesterday from brunette to blonde. I've never strayed from brunette and didn't know exactly what I wanted. The lady that did my hair was so nice and told me exactly what would look good for me and my skin tone. She cut and dyed my hair beautifully. At no extra charge she also styled my hair I cannot recommend this salon enough. Everyone is so friendly and the salon has a great atmosphere. The outcome was beyond what I thought could be achieved with my hair. They even offered a comolimentary toner in a weeks time. The lady was extremely talented and i am so happy I went there!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting two lovely ladies Bethany and Vivien. They dealt with my thick/long hair very well &exceeded my expectation. The results were amazing. Wish I took a pic. The staff here are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to make you look your best before you walk out of their store. It was Monday morning or Tuesday (if I remember clearly) and I had dyed my hair the night before. Clearly, HUGE mistake. Not only did they give recommendations on what would best suits your hair but they’re also very consistent and efficient when dealing with multiple clients simultaneously. A huge thank you to Nga and the pink haired lady (sorry forgot to get your name 😞) for making me look so good. I’ve had a lot of compliments on my hair and I just absolutely love it! ☺️

I am so pleased to have chosen the hair consulting service at Vivo Sylvia. Being new to the country, I was quite skeptical about getting the right hair stylist and salon! And I must say Kristeena it is! I am thoroughly satisfied with the hair treatment and cut! She is awesome, honest and an immensely talented stylist I have come across. Way to go Kristeena! You Rock! Not to forget the staff there are very warm and welcoming, always with a smile. Great Salon space and amenities as well!

Just got my hair done by Kristeena this morning and she's so awesome! Beautiful shop, relaxed vibe and so happy with how my hair turned out. I had coloured my hair previously at another salon who didn't do a very good job (patchy, reddish tones, uneven blends) despite it costing me about $500 (including a $100 voucher discount!), and Kristeena took me through necessary steps that she was going to take to correct it and at the same time try and protect my hair as much as possible (as I have coarse, dry hair) and stated the price before she started so I didn't get a shock at the end (like I did at the other salon). Awesome work and it cost me HALF of what it did at the other salon! And she did a WAY better job too! I can't thank you enough Kristeena, even though I live about 25mins away, the trip is worth it if you get great service like you get at Vivo Sylvia Park. See you again in 8 weeks! :)

I initially came here in October 2018 after a previous hairdresser at a different salon in Auckland over bleached my hair. I booked in with Kristina at Vivo initially to try balayage, Kristina was very genuine and explained why this would not work well on my current hair and came up with a plan to create a natural look that I would grow to love - I've never looked back! Being pregnant I also love that there is a toilet that you can use and they keep you well hydrated whilst you're there. Kristina is a very knowledgeable and genuine hairdresser which can be hard to find! Highly recommend.

100% will be coming back! The girls made sure I was happy with the colour and cut, I was over the moon with the outcome! Tried hard to find a good salon in Auckland and these ladies exceeded my expectations after not getting my hair done for over a year. Very happy!

I have been here twice. Both times I was serviced by Kristina and Courtney (an apprentice). Absolutely love my hair, the service, and quality of work is excellent. Definitely recommend calling and talking to staff as they are friendly. Both times I have seen all walks of life in the Salon and all have been pleased.

I have been going to Vivo Sylvia Park for the last 18 months and they are awesome. I’ve had 3 or 4 different hairstylists and they’ve all been excellent. Kristeena is the best in my opinion, but you will get a great haircut with anyone there.

Feel terrible that I can't remember her name but the lovely hairdresser with the amazing blue hair is incredible at what she does, so passionate about her art and lovely to talk too. My hair has never felt so healthy after a colouring and I've never walked away from a salon feeling as good about my new do as I did yesterday. Awesome balayage, cut and style. 10/10 would reccomend.

Twice i have walked into this salon feeling uninspired, unhappy and unbeautiful. And twice I have left walking on air. The stylists on both visits were exceptionally talented (Nga and recently, Kristeena), and so friendly, I felt welcomed when I stepped through the door, and even got a hug as I left. It isn't just the wonderful style they gave me, it was the whole uplifting experience. I recommend them highly.

Received the best haircut I think I've ever had here. Leonnie was fantastic, my hair looks brilliant after just washing, no styling. plus it actually looks like the pictures I showed! Will definitely be coming back.

I had my first booking with Kristeena yesterday and I absolutely love the result. My original hair was box dye blonde with brown roots which looked terrible and I came out with a beautiful platinum ashy blonde which looks amazing. I will never go anywhere else and never dye my hair with box dye again after my appointment with Kristeena. Highly reccomend her and vivo sylvia park!!

I am absolutely inlove with my hair! Thank you Toni!! I wasn’t too sure what to do with my over processed hair but by the end of the day toni literally transformed my hair. My hair was dry, brittle, lacked lustre and over processed and now I can’t stop showing it off! I haven’t had a hair cut in years and I’m so glad I chose Vivo. The only thing that wasn’t great was the wait, they were a bit busy so I had to sit for a bit which isn’t too bad, the whole process lasted from about 1:30 to 4:40 pm

If I could give more stars, I would! I made a last minute booking for colour and cut and met a great stylist - Toni. She made the whole process easy, comfortable and I came out getting the best hair and colour ever. Thanks Toni. you guys rock!

I've been coming to vivo for just over a year now and have been seeing kristeena. After I left my hair dresser of 8 years, i was so nervous to have someone else bleach and tone my hair. My hair has finally got some length in it and the coulor keeps so well through the ends. . Would be scared to change to another hairdresser again!

I took my daughter for her first haircut last week with Bethany. She was fabulous even though my daughter wouldnt sit still in the seat Bethany still managed to give her a great haircut and fabulous experience.. all while my daughter was roaming the floor..

Got a haircut recently. Slightly overpriced. The hairdresser was very friendly and professional. The place was clean but not super clean. Overall I was happy with my experience.

The salon itself is really clean and comfortable, nice fit out. However I wasn’t happy with my cut, the style isn’t what I was aiming for and the colour is more ginger than blonde.
