M.The staff here are welcoming and professional and the new salon is beautiful. It’s a calm, relaxing space to come in and get your hair done. Gem is knowledgeable and her confidence and expertise means I can trust her to help me make good hair decisions. I always leave the salon feeling amazing!
A.It was a beautiful salon. Colour service was great, however I left with a haircut significantly shorter than the pictures I showed to the stylist. I emailed the salon regarding this and was told I would be contacted in a couple days, this was over 2 weeks ago and I never received another email. This was disappointing.
S.First time visiting the salon and had an amazing experience, great customer service, friendly staff and Salon looks absolutely beautiful! Best hair salon I've been to in a long time. Very good hairstylists with flair and professionalism. Highly recommend Michelle, she's amazing at what she does! You will walk out of Surreal looking Drop-Dead Gorgeous and feeling like a million dollars. I was very impressed and really ecstatic about my new look.

I am a client of Ash but the entire team are always so friendly and genuinely care about you, your hair and overall experience. I highly recommend Surreal, 5 stars now and always :)

Her knowledge and expertise mean I have total confidence in her advice and guidance for my hair. The staff are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. The salon is beautiful and super clean. J.What a beautiful salon! So clean, modern and fresh, but also welcoming and calm at the same time. The staff are all amazing, always impressed at the quality of my services and the services I see taking place around me. Definitely an experience as opposed to just a hair cut/colour. Clients comfort really seems the priority.

I was recommended Surreal and have had the lovely Ashlie look after me for the past two years - super down to earth, talented and a genuinely caring stylist. I love that they are now a sustainable salon too. Don't be intimidated by their fabulous new home - all the staff are delightful.

A.I recently followed my barber Craig to his new workplace, and it has been an awesome experience! I’ve never done anything to my hair other than getting it cut, but with Craig moving to a place that can do colour, I have been introduced to Ashlie who has helped me with colouring my hair for the first time ever. It has turned out exactly how I wanted and the aftercare advice I have received has been great from Ashlie. Both Ashlie and Craig have been very friendly and helpful with everything I have had to ask them about, would recommend them to anyone looking for some colour in their hair or the freshest fade in Christchurch!
