My appointment was pushed back two days because a worker got covid (which happens so often i’m surprised how soon after they could fit me in) The staff are so lovely and friendly. It was just such a wonderful experience. I am soo so in love with my hair and it was really cheap for the amount of time i spent there. I 10000% recommended going here to get your hair done.

It was my first time visiting and I'm so glad I did. My hair looks and feels nourished after the conditioning treatment and cut. Nadine was lovely, she gave me some great advice, listened to what I wanted and made some great recommendations. I will definetly be coming back. 👍

I just had the best haircut I can ever ask for. Alwin is so good, he knows his job very well I'm so impressed with him. As I always wanted someone tell me what products should I use and for how long. He is the most excellent hairdresser I have ever met. Great work and the place is so beautifully decorated. Moreover, they have Lakme products. Lakme products are the best when it comes to hair. I am so, pleased that I contact them and luckily kelly fixed me with Alwin. Great place great work great products. Overall it's the best Salone in Hamilton.

I carefully chose a hairdressing salon from recommendations when my daughter decided to cut her long hair into a pixie cut. Judith and the entire team were amazing. Patiently listened to what she wanted - executed the cut beautifully and spent quite a bit of time perfecting the colour. My daughter is so happy with the results! Thank you!

Talented high end transformational hairdresser. Needed to buy special shampoo and conditioner for a treatment I received and waited over 5 weeks for it to arrive meanwhile having to pay for samples. Was disappointed considering previously I had really thought this place was unfaultable. 5 stars if the service was 100% right from product shelf to salon seat.

I had an amazing experience! Was so hard to find a place that I loved and I finally found. Since the moment that I arrived I was extremely well received by a lovely and kid lady that helped me. Both professionals that made my hair were wonderful. The place is so beautiful and everybody so kind! I super recommend for who is looking for an amazing place with good environment and excellent team - my hair is so beautiful!! I had the best hair wash ever with a relaxing massage and Alvin, who cut my hair, totally respected how much I wanted to cut, I loved.

I had an amazing haircut with Katy who listened to what I had wanted and offered her professional advice when I was unsure. I rarely get blown away when I go from long to short (short/medium) and sometimes a bit apprehensive about it but I absolutely love this cut. Service was amazing from the get go as well. First time here and will definitely be back :)

Victoria James is a wonderful salon to go to. The are all extremely welcoming and fantastic at what they do - they work to a high level of excellence. Beautiful salon and beautiful service. The colour and cut is exactly what I asked for. They also are very open about the service and tell you what they are doing, what products they are using and what the product will do for your hair. I have never had such a positive experience in a hair salon as I had at Victoria James last night! After almost 6 years avoiding hairdressers following a number of bad experiences, I very nervously booked in to have my hair lightened. Judith was the stylist that did my work, and I cannot speak more highly about both her work and her professional demeanour. I was in the salon for about 5 hours, and it was an absolute pleasure from the moment I stepped in, until the moment I left. Judith really listened to me, and was really careful to communicate that if there was anything I wasn't totally happy with, that she would be able to fix it. She also didn't push products on me, which I really appreciated, but focussed on what worked best for me, my budget, and my hair. The team there have great banter and it was a fun, relaxed environment to be in, while also abundantly clear that everybody was working really hard and each mucking in to help each other where possible. As I was hoping to go substantially lighter than my then mousy brown locks, Judith managed my expectations about how light we might be able to go. In the end, I left the salon with my DREAM locks, I felt like some combo of a mermaid-princess-celebrity?! I have never been so happy with a hairdresser in my almost 30 years, and look forward to my next visit to Victoria James and hopefully more work by the very talented Judith! 🤗

I've been coming to Victoria James for over 3 years now and every time I leave with beautiful hair and just feeling great. No matter which stylist I have they are all so professional and amazing at their craft. From the treats always on the table and the beverages the salon is so relaxing with my 3 boys at home it's a wonderful place to have mum time with wonderful talented ladies and head home feeling beautiful. VJH answered my late night SOS to colour correct the results from a different salon. I messaged VJH on a Tuesday night and I had an appointment with the owner of the salon the following day at 10am (in DECEMBER!!). She worked her magic and corrected my colour as much as possible within a few hours without damaging my hair. It was an amazing service, as always! I am so relieved, thank you so much again Vic!!!

This is now the 3rd time i went there for my hair, and as always it it has been such a pleasure going there! The hairstylist are fantastic!! The atmosphere is wonderful, they make you feel at home, and always offer drinks and nibbels! They are by far the best Hairsalon in Hamilton!!.

I absolutely love coming to this salon! The stylists are all super lovely and chatty, never ever leave disappointed - the stylists listen to what you want to achieve with your hair and do exactly that! I love VJH and will never go to another salon again!
