Amazing! My haircut is exactly what I asked for, my hair feels great. The scalp massage during the hair wash is lush! Thank you Bonna. All staff are friendly, welcoming and great style too !

I took a chance and booked in to the salon while on holiday from the North Island and I was SO happy I did! Hope did an amazing job with my highlights and achieved the blonde tone Ive been looking for forever! Such a great team, highly highly recommend :-)

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Excellent stylists. I use Nikita. She has taken me from mumsiee to stylie. Totally worth the money for a great cut! And the space is gorgeous. You feel total celeb when your there.

I had my hair done at another salon and didn’t love the end result. 2 days after getting it done I decided to walk into Venom and see if they could fix it. The staff were all so welcoming and kind. I explained to the receptionist saying please book in the next available appt ASAP. They managed to book me in right there and then and I had my hair done by Kim who did it EXACTLY how I asked and it looked identical to the picture that I showed her of how I wanted it. Very happy with my end result and so grateful for being accommodated to last minute 😊

I was visiting Invercargill for a couple of days and having not had a haircut post lock down, I thought I'd give Venom a go given their online reviews were great. I booked online and for some reason, the booking had not shown up on their system (I think this was my fault!) however this was no problem and fortunately they were able to slot me in anyway despite the salon being busy. As someone who infrequently has their hair cut and therefore finds it difficult to find a salon I would go back to, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there and came out with a haircut that I really like and can't fault at all. Bonna really listened to what I wanted and helped me make decisions when I wasn't sure. Thanks heaps team, I think I will be visiting Invercargill more often!

I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You probably want to know "why?". My beautiful Mum periodically makes the journey across the water to Invercargill from her beloved Stewart Island. There are only 2 reasons for her to make this arduous journey. When you are 84 years young it is an arduous journey indeed. The first reason is to visit the hospital. The second is when her hair is getting into her eyes. So, mum does the only thing you can do when your hair gets into your eyes, visit the best Hair Salon in the South where Nikita works wonders with her hair. Adrian, Mum also tells me that this is your wonderful Salon, thank you. Thank you for looking after her, you bring real happiness to her heart. Thank you.

I visit Invercargill every few weeks for work. As I couldn’t find any availability with my stylist in Dunedin (or anyone else for that matter), I decided to try Venom. Mathew cut my hair, and I was very pleased. He is professional, fun to talk to and for sure knows what he’s doing. I left feeling tremendously happy with my haircut (especially after the neglect my hair suffered during the lockdown). I will definitely book future appointments with Mathew to coincide with when I’m in town. Highly recommended!

Seriously the best salon experience I've ever had. I cannot rate this salon highly enough. Bonna was my stylist and she was AMAZING! From the moment I walked in the door I felt so welcomed. I was made to feel valued and important. Super luxury the whole appt. I felt amazing when I walked out the door. My god this is the place! What can't they do! Christine did a fantastic job on sorting out my colour it was in need of help then we tried the new ghd oracle, words can't describe how great this is, it really worked for me I still have curls and it's been 5 days from when I walked out of venom. One now has to buy one. I travel from Alexandra so worth the drive which is a 2 1/2 hour drive. Over all the staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome just a truly wonderful salon x
