We’ve been going to Refresh for about 8 months whilst living in Papamoa. Whether it be nails, waxing, shaping or anything else Gill and the gils have treated us like queens!
Walking into refresh is the most welcoming and non judgemental beauty salon I’ve ever been too, certainly beating out some of the top Salons in London.
No matter who you are or what you look like the girls are there to make you feel like you belong and there is zero judgement which I personally was very appreciative about!
The girls are extremely well versed in beauty treatments, work hard and are definitely worthy of medals when they figure out how to make us look human again after months of travelling.
We are very sorry to not be visiting again for a while due to moving overseas but they’ll be the first stop when we return to Papamoa. It’s going to be an incredible challenge to find a salon as wonderful, but we look forward to coming back!

A.I would suggest perhaps letting massage clients know of the potential to feel ill after a massage, due to toxin release, as many people are not aware of this
