Was looking for a change from my usual style. Becks did an amazing style cut and beautiful rich colour. So stoked with the result!

Love the vibe of this place! Cool deco but even better service. I had my hair cut by Brooke, she gave plenty of time to thoroughly discuss what I wanted, and gave a nice relaxing shampoo and massage. Very professional, talked me through the cut, and did exactly what I wanted. She also took time to discuss a lot of different products when I asked for recommendations. Left feeling fresh, I’ve already rebooked with her for some color!

I’ve been a client of Emma’s for years now. I always feel welcome and comfortable, and I always love the result! I pretty much let Emma have free rein now, she knows me and knows my hair and I get lots of comments on it. Sues great too, always welcoming and friendly. Great time and I have and will recommend them highly to friends and family.

I started a fresh hair journey when I became a client at The Hair Boutique. A journey of truly caring for my hair and learning the right products and routines that work for me and my hair type. My stylist Bidi from day one has always been honest, which I have really appreciated. She is always so amazing at discussing my hair journey with me, advising me what steps we can take to achieve certain goals. I loved my first appointment at The Hair Boutique, id never been to a salon that takes such time and care doing a consultation to really make sure they know what results the client is after. Ive enjoyed all my visits over the past couple years and will be looking forward to another freshen up soon! Thanks ladies for taking such pride in your work and always making sure I leave feeling great! Keep up the amazing work 👏 Reccomend 100%

I love getting my colour and styles done with the team at the hair boutique. They are all super friendly and professional and make you feel welcome in their beautiful salon. Love love love! The best hair colour I’ve had in a long time! The staff and owner are super nice, friendly and accommodating! They make you feel comfortable and happy throughout your experience. I showed some pictures of colours, tones and styles that I liked and I feel they understood exactly what I wanted and my hair is fabulous! I’ve been getting my hair done here for over a few years now and won’t be looking back, love their work and team!

Always have the best experience at this beautiful trendy and professional salon. Would recommend to everyone of all ages and all hair types to book in! So affordable especially for the level of skill and technique these women have. I have been coming to this salon since the new owner took over 4 years ago and I always walk out feeling a million bucks! I travel 1.5 hours over the Takaka hill from Golden Bay to get my hair done here. Have never come across another salon that have such fashionable and up to date styles and can do my hair exactly the way I want it, these talented women go above and beyond to make sure the client gets exactly what they’re dreaming of and more. Ask for Emma, she is the goddess of hair!!! 1000% recommend The Hair Boutique Richmond it’s amazing!!! So happy with my hair!!!

Can't recommend the Hair Boutique enough! I found them after a bad experience at a different salon where my hair was over processed and damaged. From my first interaction with the Hair Boutique they provided great advice and were highly professional. They provided fantastic friendly service and the cut and treatment I received left my hair in amazing condition. I have been using them ever since and my hair looks the best it ever has. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I visited The Hair Boutique after a colour went wrong at another salon. Brooke was very understanding with what I wanted and set the expectation that it wouldn't be fixed in one visit. ♡ I would recommend visiting the girls if you are looking for a hairdresser, they are experienced and friendly.

I have been getting my hair done here for a few years now, my stylist Bidi is amazing, kind friendly and knowledgable. When I first went there I was after a ash light blonde, Bidi and I went through pictures to see we were on the same page, she got my hair to exactly what I was looking for. We have had some fun with pink and purple hair, I loved the results each time.The salon itself is clean, private and friendly. Definitely recommend this salon.

Emma and the girls at Hair & Beauty Boutique are always so lovely to deal with! I’ve had my hair coloured a number of times here over the years and couldn’t recommend them enough! I have been going to THB for over 2 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. These girl know their colour. I have dark dark hair and for last 7 years I have been blonde. To get that prefect blonde I 100% recommend THB but in saying that I have recently gone back to dark hair and again these girls know their colour and I thought I would struggle to get back to my dark hair but nope I love it and I couldn’t be happier. The girls are all very professional it’s like a family in the THB I love how they support each other to make sure you get the right colour. It’s really relaxing in there, I am not sure how many times I have fallen a sleep in there while getting my head messaged. Thanks you ladies I always feel pretty when I leave. Charishma

I have been going here over the last lots of years. the are one of the only places i let to cut my hair. they really take there time to understand exactly what you want. they also worked there magic over time to help fix and repair a bad perm job done at nmit.

110% recommend this hair salon! All the staff are so lovely and always feel like a million dollars when I leave. Definitely go and see the girls if you live in Nelson or are visiting.

I feel I paid too much for what was done. Went blonder and it looked absolutely incredible curled and under their bright lighting but the next day it seemed dull.
