A.Spent $400 to get copper balayage (was told that copper is an expensive colour) and I walked out of the salon with caramel blonde hair (+ the odd slight copper streak). Based on my experience, it seemed as though the hairdresser was unsure and didn’t want the backlash if the colour didn’t match my face, so she was reluctant to give me much colour at all. Instead, she advised me to “come back for a touch up if it doesn’t turn out copper enough”. I had been set on this colour for months and when I walked in, I was made to feel like it wasn’t for me and succumbed to her suggestions that I “ease into it.” It’s just infuriating because that’s up to me. Like I don’t spend hundreds on colour to walk out the same, only to come back a few weeks later because I didn’t get it the first time?!?! Third time I’ve been here, all different hairdressers. You don’t look bad, but for the price you pay, you don’t get what you want either.

T.Katie B is amazing! She gives in depth consultations and asks all the right questions so she can create exactly what I'm after. She gave excellent advice for how I can evolve my hairstyle and what maintenance it may require. Very highly recommended Vivo Redwoods!!
