Absolutely love the result!! Crystal was my hair colourist/stylist, she was very kind, informative and just amazing at what she does. Highly recommend going to her! I recommend coming with a picture first to get a quote so they know exactly what you want and will give you an accurate price. Also don't be afraid to ask questions before, during and after the appointment so you know exactly what you are getting. I also recommend getting treatment because even after bleaching my hair twice it's very soft, silky and doesn't feel as damaged (of course after-care is very important). Overall great experience, got my hair coloured twice now and both times were great :).

Came here with no expectations. Very pleased with the results! Got a hair cut done by Crystal and she did a great job. Usually Im never 100% satisfied after a hair cut but this time I was. Will definitely be my go to in Wellington.

I went to get my haircut a few days ago. And usually the hairdresser would add to much layers which I don’t like bc it makes me look old. But Amore hair didn’t. I got mine done by Crystal and she was so nice, she knows that my hair is thin she said I’ll just cut a little layers. Which was nice. I also got curtain bangs, and I love it. Definitely would come back again here again. It’s good and affordable.

Crystal worked fast and was professional with my hair and gave me a nice result! Listened to what I wanted and was able to cut something similar to what I showed her! For my first hair cut, I was pleased 😁

I've never walked out of any hair salon feeling satisfied but this time with Mi Young! She was so so lovely and gentle with my hair, she made sure that she understand correctly what I wanted and let me know abt the final price in the beginning, not like other places where you have to pay more than you expected the end. I'm very happy with the result, thank you so much!

Amazing salon. Very good prices. Wonderful staff working there. Jaime Lee did an amazing job on my nails. Taehu is very gifted and professional and cut my hubbies hair the best I've ever seen. MiYoung made my hair look so beautiful I wish I could take her home with me. Highly recommended salon for all your beauty and pamper needs.

Very good service my go to place when i need to style my hair for special events. Staff are friendly and you see bright smiles everytime you enter. Lee Taehu great guy he creates what i want on my hair. 100% recommended if you like korean hairstyles ❤️

I have visited here for a perm and absolutely happy with the result. The staff member who did my hair, Crystal Kang, was very nice explaining each step kindly and gave a great consultant before starting. Her passionate service and amazing skill were great enough for me to revisit and recommend to everyone around me. Definitely would visit again and highly recommend anybody who needs to change their styles or wants to be gorgeous😘

No frills Korean hair salon, decent price for prompt service. I was serviced by Mi Young, who is nice and works fast. I was able to get a fresh cut within 45mins.

After almost two years being in Wellington, I’ve finally decided to go to a hair salon as my two friends recommended here and I’m obsessed with the result! Crystal helped me a lot with choosing hair colour and double check every time to make sure if it’s the colour I want to have. Yet it would be nice if her manager washes clients hair gently not wiping off my foundation before going out.

Today was my first time visiting 'Amore & hair'. I was very satisfied with my work done and my appointment was exactly on time. Taehu is very talented, gentle and nice. 😁

Moved to Wellington two years ago from Edinburgh, Scotland and just finally found the perfect hair salon that's right up to my standard. The Korean guy who cut my hair was just absolutely amazing! He totally knew how I wanted the hairstyle to look like and did an amazing job! They even told me what they're doing during the process even when they were washing my hair. I would give 5 starts however when I asked for the toilet, they gave me a key and showed me to go all the way outside where it was quite away from the salon to use which I didn't have to do on my first visit last year where the older lady just showed me their toilet inside the salon to use it. The price for the cut and treatment were reasonable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Very excited to have found this wee Gem in Wellington. I booked in for a facial and nails for a friend and I and we were both ecstatic with the results. Our nails were amazing and the nail technician was a perfectionist and her range of product was extensive. As for our facial it was the best!! She definitely knows her stuff and i can't stop raving to everyone about our experience. We look forward to many more appointments and now so do our friends and family. Thanks for your talents.

Amore's nail technician Jamie Lee is awesome. She is Korean and unlike the other places she takes her time to do a great job. Her prices are reasonable, conveniently located on Willis St, good range of colours, and she is clean. I love how Jamie does my nails, and she is great to have a laugh with. I haven't used the salon, but it's always quite busy so they must be doing something right.

My go to place for Asian hair. Abby is very friendly and kind and gives great advice for styles if you're unsure of exactly what you want, but have an idea of the mood or look you're inspired by. I've never had a bad cut in this salon.

I have been going here ever since I moved to Wellington. The hair designers are all very talented and qualified never been disappointed. Highly recommended

Love their cuts. Used to be $35 for a lady's cut. Now have gone up to $38, and if you want a special style or going from long to short hair, you could be paying an extra $10-20. I was told it would be $48, but was charged $53. Getting a bit to costly for a haircut, sorry. Will be looking for other options .

I'm very happy with the haircuts I've had here. These are some experienced Korean hairdressers and I've had great experiences with just showing a photo. Cheap because it has a student discount!

The nail tech Jaime is an absolute gem, great customer service, a perfectionist but also very fast. Will definitely be going back there for nails. Prices are also very reasonable.

I’m really quite disappointed by my manicure! My nails don’t have a very glossy finish and started to chip less than 24 hours after! I’m still giving 3 stars because the technician is very nice, she had amazing nails herself so you can tell she is skilled, and she prepared my nails well. But given the price I paid (45$ for shellac removal and normal manicure), I feel ripped off for what I got. I would have come back to get my nails re-painted but the store was closed on Sunday and then I left the city. Comment: thanks for your answer. To clarify, I did allow my nails to dry for over 3 hours before touching anything. I’ve used OPI many times and I never had this issue with non-shellac manicure. Even when I apply it myself it stays on for at least 5-7 days. Now after only 3 days the varnish is chipped on every finger and it looks awful. As I said, you were absolutely lovely so I am sure this was just bad luck but to be honest if I was still in Wellington I would have had to ask for a refund because it really looks terrible and I am very disappointed.
