Ruba was so pleasant and is clearly a perfectionist. My nails look amazing and she was very quick, without rushing. Recommend.

Fantastic work done by the great staff who were also so welcoming and fast at there job. Absolutely love it and will be coming back because I'm so impressed on how well they do their job and the prizes were very good for the amazing work they did. I recommend it 100 percent.

So happy with my SNS extensions! This was my first time trying them. I walked in off the street and only had to wait 5 minutes before Helen started my nails. She was super fast and really gentle! No cuts or scratches when buffing. Was really impressed at how pain free it was, I've only ever had acrylics before and usually leave with sore nails, but Helen was gentle and checked in with me each step of the way. I love the colours and the finish, no lumps or scratchy part. They're light and feel really nice to wear. Really happy, will definitely keep coming back. I wanted to add a photo to show how great they are but can't seem to attach it

I had SNS nails done here - Ruba was lovely and so professional - loved the results.

Got exactly what I wanted! French tips with a different color😍, the staff is helpful and guided me through what would last longer and want would be a better choice.

Went to see Hellen today for SNS and gellous colour. As a walk in I was seen immediately. I’m on holidays here and found it difficult to find a good nail salon. Needless to say I am very happy with the results. Hellen is very pleasant and professional. Would recommend!

I love getting my Manicure n Pedicure done at Platinum Newtown . Very friendly staff. Nice n Clean. I like having my nails done, they massage your finger n your legs. Plus the chain massage your back . I'm a regular..🙏

The best quality manicure I’ve ever had. It’s now been just over a month and I still haven’t had a chip. I do have nail growth at the cuticles but the polish is so durable and I’m so so impressed!

Not really good experience my gel polish came off the first week after getting it done.

I get my nails done here every 4 weeks for the last year. They are amazing at what they do. Nails these days take a lot longer so be patient with the staff. They're doing their best! They're kind and warm. It's a clean workplace too. I've never had eyebrows done but I love the options available beyond nails. Thanks for being a Newtown staple!

I got acrylic sns for the first time at platinum nails (also for the first time) and just wow. I am in love with them. The service was quick and friendly, and Amy did an amazing job. The range of colours is remarkable and the colour also came out so vibrant! Would highly recommend ❤ Thanks Amy 😊😊

I tried so many places in Wellington for lash extensions before I found this salon. Everyone here does an amazing job but my go-to is Andy or Rosie. They’re both quick, always apply the extension to one natural lash and they come out so beautiful every time! If you’re trying to maintain the health of your natural lash while also looking like a princess, this is your place! It’s a busy salon so make sure to give them your phone number when booking incase someone is running late. Enjoy!

Had a manicure and spa pedicure here what fantastic service. The ladies were lovely my nails look stunning. Pity I don't live in Wellington otherwise I will be back here regularly!

Great as always. Staff have limited English but we seem to be able to communicate ok. For $40 the gel manicure I had was very reasonable.

Great quality lashes that last 3-4 week and eyebrow waxing was done very nicely :) definitely recommend!

Walked in no appointment to get lashes done, amazing from start to finish, so light weight i forget i have them done, friendly staff will try nails next time i get refills thanks platinum nails.

Update: second time around deserves 5 stars, in love with my lashes and my nails, the customer service was amazing This place will be my regular place from now on for eyelashes, as they are the best I’ve had in Wellington and the cheapest 3D Russian, How ever, the reason I’m giving it a 3 star is because it did sting a lot whilst getting them done, as well as for two days I had a chemical burn, but a Asian friend of mine said to wait it out and I’m glad I did because they look beautiful “no pain, no gain right ??” The other reason is because the lady doing my lashes placed the lashes on my forehead, and because I do tend to fall asleep I have a bad habit of twitching (which has never been a problem before ! ), so everytime I twitched they will fall off my forehead, and she would “tut” and give a “ahh” sound, which made me feel bad so I was trying my hardest to fight sleep (which was impossible) by the third time it happened I was thinking “ you should have learnt by now, put it somewhere that’s not my fore head lol” Anyways I am happy otherwise and hope to raise this stars up after my next visit, will be checking out other options and recommending to my friends and family x

Today was my first time going to this nail salon and i got my gel nails done and lashes .. and I ABSOLUTELY love the job the ladies did :) I’m one very happy customer 😀 I’m a bit edgy with trusting people with my lashes and nails, I’m so glad I came here cause they did an amazing job highly recommend this place :) will definitely be a regular customer 🙂 thankyou ladies for the great job yous did ❤️

it was a amazing experience and the nail polish lasts ages I recommend getting the gel manicure they do manicure have a wide range of colours to chose from it is a bit expensive like the gel manicure I got was 50$ but worth it!
