I am so impressed with this store, the knowledge of staff and how friendly everyone is. I just bought my new bike with them and a kids seat which they kindly offered to install. The team helped me with all questions, took time to explain each bike and I feel very happy with my purchase and the service I received. Can highly recommend!!

Located on Great South Road, Penrose. Plenty of car parking. I had friendly knowledgeable staff who were able to help me purchase a electric bike. As I knew very little about ebikes I found the service excellent and helpful. Was able to trial ride bikes, before purchase and thus really helped me choose.

The team are very knowledgeable, great to deal with and are always willing to help. I've had a couple of warranty claims on my Trek and all have been managed very well by the team at Evo. Although they're facing supply issues, they're seemingly able to make things work, and if they can't, at least they tell you! Dom, the mechanic, is also super knowledgeable and always makes the time to accommodate.

Excellent and fast service, boys were super helpful. Flat tyre and far from home - not a best combination. They fixed it immediately and I am biking again. Thank a lot. I will come back again.

Im verr happy. My double pushchair wheels were really badly flat and I had to pickup 2 one yearolds from daycare as an emergency. I walked in there with the pushchair and the guy who fixes the bikes fixed the tyres pressures immediately and I was on my way ! No Charge. I returned a few months later and bought an electric bike. I have no complaints.

The service I received from the mechanic at Evo Penrose was amazing. After visiting a number of bike shops around Auckland trying to find a replacement carbon fork, it wasn’t until I went here that I found somebody with the knowledge and willingness to assist. Notwithstanding the busy workshop, he was super helpful and patient. Work on my bike was carried out quickly and to a high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending their services. Much appreciated.

Great service from Jerry! My son purchased his 1st Mountain Bike from Evo Cycles Ellerslie. Jerry went through all the options, explained everything really clearly, let us test ride the options and we left knowing we chose the right bike! My son is so happy with his 2019 Trek Remedy 7, its an awesome ride but unfortunately he wont let his dad ride it.

I found the service of Evo Cycles in Ellerslie to be excellent. I am very particular about my bikes and I always feel that I am leaving my bikes in good hands when I visit their store. They have a dedicated workshop that know their stuff well and are always keen to provide honest advice, upgrades and work around my availability. Reasonable prices and timeframes with the highest professional standards. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended new bike store for cyclists of all levels of experience in Ellerslie. Thanks Evo Ellerslie for getting me back on two wheels again! I visited to buy my first NZ bike, having been an avid commuting / touring cyclist when I lived in Europe, and this is a conveniently located new store between Ellerslie and Greenlane. The guys at the shop are obviously keen cyclists, and were able to make helpful suggestions and share their experiences with various bit of gear. They had a good range of fairly priced bikes and equipment, and were able to order in anything they didn't have. They went above and beyond, making sure everything was perfect with the new bike before I wheeled it out of the door. I will definitely be coming back.

My tube blew up when I was pumping it up so I needed urgent help. Popped into EVO Penrose on a Sunday and Quade did a great repair and I am back on the road! Great service and friendly experts. Thank you!!!

Super happy with the service at Evo Penrose today. Don the Mechanic showed me how to change my own tyres. The guys at the desk had really good knowledge on the Garman GPS bike computers. They were also the only shop I have come across with the Wahoo Kicker bike set up to ride in front of a TV screen.

I found the team at Evo Cycles Ellerslie to be awesome! My wife is new to cycling and asked for advise from the team. All the team members where knowledgeable and patient they helped with what she wanted even though the store was busy. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, friendly and helpful people.Wide range and very good pricing. One star for communication. Was promised my part will be there at 3pm today. Took of work to make sure I am on time. Waited 15 min before I got helped, all a miss communication. My part was not there. It was put down to miss communication. I picked up next day, no problem.

Well laid out store with plenty of bike options. The staff all ride and are able to give advice from first hand experience rather than what the sales brochure tells them. In my view the key reason to goto this store is advice and good pricing. Lately I’ve found some of their clothing items consistently have low stock, requiring you to wait while they order it in from their suppliers, this is a downside as one of the benefits to a bike store is you can talk to real people and the item you want to buy is acutally there. It doesn’t put me off though, still an excellent shop

Don't rely on Nic that mans chat box on their website to give you accurate information. He twice gave me the wrong information about Ellierslie stock, despite being given the opportunity, on two separate days to provide accurate information. Nearly ruined my long weekend, thankfully, a quick message out of hours to Rotorua, they responded first thing, said they had the bike I wanted, built up and ready to collect, sure enough, drove from Auckland, turned up, paid and left a happy camper. If not for their brilliant service, Evo would be getting a 1 based on my experience with Nic.

Huge range and knowledge - it's my new Local Bike Store. I cycle 200kms a week and they have everything I need. Another great experience at Evo Cycles in Ellerslie this week. Thanks to the team for sorting out a bike fit with all the right parts needs on-site. Sometimes with more particular gear, like my slightly older SRAM Red, shops just don't stock what's needed but these guys do. So cheers to the workshop, see you again soon

First and foremost, dealing with Leo at the Ellerslie location was a pleasure: knowledgable and professional. Also, the layout of the store and the outside is highly inviting for a young buck like myself (ok I'm pushing 34, but that's alright). It's very spacious, simple, and clean. The folks here are very nice.

Ordered a bike making it clear what was required. The bike didn't have hydraulic discs. This is the first bike shop that wouldn't swap out parts for what was wanted?
