I purchased my ETNA a few months ago, I'm enjoying cycling again the hills I used to think were hard are a breeze. On the flat I turn the power off and ride, the 30 gears give you this ability, I feel more confident on the road and let the power assist do its job. Great product thoroughly recommend Michael and company, excellent to deal with. Transporting is easy as it folds in half to put in vehicle, no worries about a bike rack

Awesome! Michael was super-attentive - he listened to my wants/needs, offered suggestions, and kept me informed of the delivery process. He responded to emails within minutes, even at weekends - does he have a life??!!! I elected for the bike to be part-built before shipping from Auckland (it can be shipped 'flat-packed'), which is the way to go - the bike was 95% ready - it was packaged really well with all surfaces/ends protected from damage, and the instructions to finish the build were clear and obvious; it took one pair scissors and one adjustable spanner to get me up and running! Would I buy from Michael again? Absolutely, without doubt! Five gold stars do not do the service justice!

Great experience with Michael ... really appreciated his passion for cycling. I also liked purchasing from a unique brand and not being a part of the large commercial scene. I had been looking for a while and this just seemed right. Love my bike!!! Legend Etna ... great style, perfect colour (black) brilliant to ride, stands out from the crowd in a good way .. I bought a Legend Milano eBike a couple of moths ago and I found the bike is a quality build with great road control, and the support from Legend (Michael) is also great. Very satisfied with the bike.

many thanks legend e bikes your a legend. we write this now 3 months in of riding 2 legend ebikes. we started our search for off road ebikes believing we needed mid drive bikes, then we saw the folding legend ebike and checked them out with Michael who's was really helpful. we thought we may have compromised performance but the folding won out. we did not have to worry. with several hundred km of city, trail and track done they have been faultless. geared slightly low for city use you don't need to change gears much and off road is a breeze. when that steep climb pops up just hit the speed button and off you go. 42ks on the Dunstan lake trail and we still had 50% battery life. and that is one bike optioned up with carrier and panniers. excellent options even on single track. these bikes are travelling around on the back of campervan and easy enough to lift on and off. charging is a breeze on or off the bike. we are very pleased with our bikes and there performance. I absolutely love my e-bike! And finally during lockdown I've had some time to actually enjoy riding it. It is comfortable, stylish and great fun. I like that I can have the option for assistance or not, depending on how far I'm travelling or how I'm feeling. Getting out in the sunshine for some much needed fresh air and vitamin d has been really good for my headspace this lockdown. Highly recommend. Happy riding!

Had Monza folding electric bike for about a year. Use it virtually everyday as my transport into my New Plymouth town office and back to my home office - through a lovely church park and along the foreshore. Love it. More fun than my old Piaggio scooter. My partner has a legend bike too and family use it a lot.

Love my Legend Mountain Ebike. I'm just getting back into biking after years out of the saddle. Michael was super helpful and accommodating. Couldn't be more happy with my bike and overall experience 10/10.

As we are in our late seventies, these folding e-bikes are great for us & we have been riding a lot more on lockdown. The 24 inch wheel is good too! Easy to fold & put in the back of the car when level 4 ends.

We purchased two Legend Etna folding E bikes July 2020 and can highly recommend this company for quick and efficient sales service. We have found the bikes to be everything we hoped. Well made and easy to ride, the bikes fit in our Motorhome locker so a much more secure than on a rack on the back. Looking forward to hitting the trails this week in the South Island. I've had my Legend Milano for 2 weeks now and have biked to work almost every day. I removed the plastic chain cover completely as it was rubbing and didn't look like an easy fix to prevent it from happening again and tightened up a screw on my front light. i'm now familiar with the 3 level power system and starting to be more adventurous in my rides. Battery distance capacity will have to wait for a super sunny day. My commute is downhill to work and a steady uphill all the way home, a steep hill at the last (6km round trip). I bought this e bike as a commute to work bike, reduce my carbon emissions (less car trips), avoid traffic (mostly stick to the tree lined Huatoki walkway, New Plymouth, Taranaki) and to enjoy some relaxing outdoor time. i have a mtn bike but only use in summer this bike provides the extra boast and motivation to e bike than my previous drive and walk. Really happy with my choice and having the soft front suspension is important for the slight off road surface. I charge it up each night. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY! The unisex bike design is very upright with high handlebars, a restricted turning ability (due to the cords), but as long as you're not to self conscious its great. I wear a fluro yellow jacket so get the looks regardless. 4/5 stars

The thrill of buying and then riding my new Milano e- bike is truly worth 5 gold stars. I'm 66 and loved riding but it wasn't fun. Now 2 years on I am back on a bike and engaging the battery to help me up those hills - clicking off on the flats- its the best of both worlds and I love it. Cycling is fun again thanks to Legend ebikes.

Bought the Monza ebike - day 2 and LOVING it. Michael's pre and after sales service was excellent. Great tips and advice given - e.g. make sure fittings are secure, handle bars, folding mechanism and seat locked into place. The bike is certainly a quality build and it powered up a pretty steep hill in Wellington last night no problem - I like the fact I still have to put a little effort in (if you want a throttle-only bike, you may as well be a moped...). Still get the benefit of exercise, so this is perfect - a few times I even turned the pedal assist off, but it was sure nice to turn it back on when I needed it. The controller is great, the app works, really enjoy riding in to work! Great sales and service Michael!

I purchased a Legend Etna folding E bike just before lockdown. Thanks Mike for getting it sorted. What can I tell you about this bike? I like to go for long rides (average 2 -3 hours) and most days of the week. It’s a comfortable ride and the multiple power modes give you the convenience of a boost when you hit those steep Auckland hills! Things to note: 30 gears - fantastic, Dual disk hydraulic brakes - fantastic, Shocks, and The battery is nicely hidden away in the frame and because it’s a lithium ion you can recharge it after use. 😊 From a fitness perspective the less battery you use, the further you go. The integration of the Ebikemotion app is awesome; clip your phone to the handlebars and you have everything from speed, maps, temperature, distance and you can record your ride plus navigation so you don’t get lost on those country roads. Things I have learned over the past 6 weeks and combined distance of 1,000km. Make sure you carry a small bike tool kit, a puncture repair kit and a travel bike pump. It doesn’t matter what you ride, when you’re in the middle of nowhere and get a puncture, or need to adjust something these items are essential to have with you. I learnt the hard way and was not prepared on my first long ride. Lastly get some lights if you plan to head out at dawn or dusk and ensure you have some reflective clothing too. A big thank you to Mike and the support he has provided. From my initial enquires through to purchase, the process was professional and Mike made sure I was 100% happy before we did the paperwork. The bike looks great and turns heads everywhere I go. Thanks Mike !! 👍

The bike arrived within a few days and it is fantastic.Very easy to ride and of excellent quality. I purchased a folding model that fits in the back of my car.I really enjoy riding it and look forward to summer when i will use it to ride to work .Customer service was excellent .Can certainly recommend this business .

I have just bought a Legend Etna folding electric mountain bike from Legend ebikes. Michael was extremely helpful and made sure that I would be happy with the bike before I purchased it. It is a very good quality bike with great components and folds to fit in my boot or back seat. I am very pleased with it and would recommend Legend ebikes to anyone that is considering buying this type of bike.

My Monza has been a life-saver during this latest lockdown. Been all over town and the adjacent countryside, including this beautiful spot. A real antidote to sitting in front of a computer screen working from home.

I have recently purchased 10 white Milano legend ebikes for guests to use on my resort in Rarotonga Magic Reef Bungalows we are testing them now and they are performing perfectly with very good feed back on distance and reliability and they look great to. I chose these bikes based on the reliable Panasonic battery and the Spanish design and equipment used in their manufacture, I can recommend the Milano and look forward to years of trouble free riding and will be back to purchase 10 more. regards Lawrence Holder

The monza ebike is a joy. Streamlined, compact and easy riding. Commuting is hassle-free. Whizzing around is fairly swift but the real benefit is in cycling uphill. Invest in a sturdy lock though as it's a stylish, high quality number.
