Super happy with the service received at this bike shop in recent weeks - from viewing and test riding ebikes one weekend to purchasing the following the service and advice was top notch. Bon was super helpful, as were the rest of the staff we dealt with. Took the time to fit the bikes correctly also. Then today after a week of use my bike had a malfunction, the PA stopped working - I rung the store mid afternoon, spoke to Indy on the phone, and by end of day the bike was checked and fixed! I’m hoping the problem was a one off but I’m sure the team here will see me right if it reoccurs. Thanks Indy for the super prompt service today, means I can head out on my ride tomorrow :)

I brought an uptown pedal bike from 99 bikes in September and I swear by it. Best thing I have done and a couple of weeks ago I got a basket for it. The service I had both times have been tremendously wonderful. Wonderful bunch of people and they were happy to answer any question I had

I am an old 80 year old “gal” who still enjoys riding her bike. Last week when I had the misfortune of getting a puncture I managed to repair the tube but I damaged the brake linkage and adjustments. The next day I took the bike to 99 Bikes Homebase where I met Max, Sales consultant and Grant the workshop team leader. What a great job he made of not only fixing my brakes but correcting a couple of other issues. It is such a pleasure to visit this shop and speak to Grant and Max. They are always most informative and a pleasure to meet up with. I feel so lucky to have this excellent bike repair shop so close by.

Writing on behalf of my 13yr old Grandson who recently purchased his dream bike, he is super happy with the bike that he saved hard for.... we are all very happy with the staff, they were all very helpful with advice and service.. great team!!! Highly recommend 99 bikes for quality, price and service!!!

I got charged normal prices where I am a club member and should have received quite an amount of discount. I only noticed it afterwards when i got home and received the invoice via email. After speaking to Josephine she resolved it and created me a discount voucher for the amount. Her customer service was great in getting it resolved.

We purchased an ebike at this store and were assisted by Drew he was absolutely amazing very knowledgeable and helpful would highly recommend this store and Drew Thankyou for making our purchase that much easier

Have been shopping for all our biking needs since 99 Bikes came to Homebase. I have always found the service to be of a high standard. Our most recent purchase was for a helmet for our son. Kea, who was the team member that did the transaction was very proactive and approached my son and I to give assistance.

I have shopped here several times and every time the service has been outstanding, was so grateful today for the lovely man who installed all the accessories i bought on my bike for me, much appreciated!

Big shout out to bike mechanic that was working today 2 Feb 2022, took bike in to get wheel realigned, after quick initial inspection, turned out that there was a simple solution that he helped me with on the spot, great honest service, will not have any doubts about bringing bikes in for future work

Purchased a $144 D lock, took it home unpackaged it, found it didn't work, no apologies from staff for wasting 30 minutes of my time, but I did get a full refund. Also there emailing -your- receipt system instead of printing a copy didn't work, so had to go back and get a paper version which was just another added nuisance. Have been other times I've been there, and they have been good so depends on who you get

This store is great. We buy all our bicycles, scooters and accessories from them. The staff are friendly and really know their products.

Easy booking for my Ebike service a a completed on time and I was told exactly what was done and the cost. Definitely the place to take your bikes!!

Bought our son's bike in for his tyres to be fixed, didn't need an appointment. Very fast friendly service. Had a looksie around the shop and bikes were great prices compared to other bike shops. Will be upgrading our bikes soon and will be coming here.

Dealt with a lovely lad called Zachary on the phone. Top Bloke, He found me the perfect bicycle and gave me a good price. 11/10 service. I will Use you again Zachary Zachary reffered me to the workshop team where I was helped by Indy. Well what can I say about this lad other than phenomenal! The bloke is an encyclopaedia of knowledge regarding bicycles. A* is not a high enough grade for him. Lovely lad, would recommend!!! Cheers Boys!!! xxx

Good place for a great deal for a bike service is outstanding want a merida go there they will look after you

I was really impressed with the friendly service and the knowledgeability of the staff. It was very busy when I was in the store, but no one was flustered. A very relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff, plus a massive number of bikes for all purposes and ages in store.

Good service. I took an e-bike for a test ride and ended up buying it. It was $200 - $700 cheaper than at other stores.

the ordering, on line system works extremely well and the direct contact with the store was dealt with efficiently and effectively, a great company to deal with. The product purchased is as described and of excellent quality. An all round good experience

Very good sorted bike shop with a workshop inside. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had low pressure on my wheels and my saddle was a bit to high, they helped me without charging anything, even when I wanted to give some tip. Highly recommended place. Super satisfied

Once again Murray has exceeded my expectations of service. Murray helped sort out scooters for my kids previously, given great advice on tyres for my sons bike and helped me with purchase of my daughters bike. We live 50 mins away from the store but will happily travel back to get such great service.

Great range but if you're not a member very expensive, but if you walk 20 meters there is bunning's and half the price for tools and accessories

We had a great time talking bikes with the guy in the bike shop, we were given great advice about a bike for a two year old, can’t wait to go back next weekend and try riding some bikes!

Needed a bike for my kid, nothing was available in Christchurch, for the type of bike i was looking for in any of the LBS, so they got one ordered in and was ready for collection with in a couple days.

Really nice staff, well-stocked shop, easy parking. Some bike shops can be a little snooty about old clunker bikes but they treated my ride with respect. I got a free bronze service as a AA member, but I spent $150 there anyway on new helmet and tires! Everybody wins.

I recently created an online account and made an online purchase, the online shop dashboard was a little unclear and I ended up pressing click and collect from this store, when I am based in Taupo. For some reason the online store must have defaulted to stock location rather than customer location. person in store chch was straight on the phone asking if I was planning to collect, I was a little confused but then realised what had gone wrong, store were very proactive and sent to me here in Taupo by NZ Courier Post which was much appreciated. so for this reason I leave a 5 star review for great customer service. thanks for making this problem go away for me.

Bike barn at Marshlands, Christchurch...while travelling in the South Island our e-bikes required servicing. We were really pleased with the excellent service here.
