I have provided a 5 star for this store for the following reasons. I have purchased 2 scooters from this store now. I had one that I got but found that it was not suited for me. They team helped me to get the right one to suit me and now I'm very happy with my scooter and so is my son. When you visit the store you will be served by Dale and what an awesome guy! Very friendly chap and is always happy to help you. In regards to availability of scooters is not great and would recommend some improvements of keeping stock at more acceptable levels. With the website needs lots of work and more mobile friendly is a need. Otherwise I have told all my friends about this store and recommend going to this store for your e-scooter needs and the best prices for E-bikes too!

Black Sheep Trading are a great place to buy good and reliable Eletric scooters. There service is really good nice friendly people. Bought 2 Sonic 350s and 1 Sonic 2000 recommend to any looking for a trustworthy place to buy Eletric scooters and Bikes.

So happy with the service from Luke, from the first trial ride of the Scout ebike through to purchasing and followup interactions. The bikes are fantastic and Luke was always friendly, helpful and offered professional advice in person and over the phone. I bought this scooter right the day the covid -19 lockdown level 4 was announced. With delayed delivery service in everything, I was worried that I wouldnt get the scooter soon enough ( I live uphill so its very helpful for carying stuffs from grocery shopping). However, the shop manager personally delivered it to me right away after my payment and it made me so happy. I also called him for the scooter advice after researching around and he was very helpful. It was indeed very good service, fast and straightforward.

Purchased two Sonic 1000w scooters from Black Sheep recently. They arrived well packaged and within the time promised had been fully charged which was appreciated. These machines look great and go even better and will easily cart my 107kg frame at +40kph on flat. Perfect for commuting to work (on road) which is their main use. There is a design fault with the side stand which means it continually comes loose from the body but nothing that can’t be fixed with a workaround. Thanks for your customer service and great product Luke.

I got a great deal on a quality electric scooter and it’s great that they have a very skilled repairer on-site who was able to fine tune my brake setup in minutes when I just dropped in. I am very impressed with their products and service.

I just got my electric bike from black sheep trading and couldn't be happier. I didn't know much about them but Luke explained all about them and which one would be best for me was really friendly and brilliant service. I definitely recommend getting one it was so easy and fast brilliant company with a huge range of products to choose from and at a really good price.

I have now purchased two Sonic 2000 scooters from Black Sheep Trading. The first, purchased just over a year ago, now has 5400km on the odometer and continues to perform just as good as when I first bought it. There were no problems or hassles throughout the 12 month warranty period. The second one which I have just purchased is for friends to use. The Sonic 2000 (Zero 10x) is an awesome scooter and it’s pretty apparent just by looking at all the YouTube videos, internet articles, and all the Zero Scooter Facebook Groups around the world that when considering value for money and performance and reliability IMHO this brand is the way to go. Then add in Luke’s knowledge and Dale’s mechanical expertise in the workshop and my second purchase became ‘a bit of a no brainer’.

They have awesome stuff. I rent and had ride around city with electric scooter that was awesome. Very fast and fun. Also I couldn’t stop playing ,so I bought Hoover board that was amazing.. it’s easy and fast. Good cheap rate for bikes, scooter and all stuff. Also it’s come with a guarantee.. good customer service..I recommend black sheeps is the best!

I hired an MTB E Bike to ride the Alps to Ocean from Black Sheep it was fantastic. Luke was knowledgeable and knew the capabilities of his bikes. I recently bough a Chinese FLJ 2400 watt scooter from Black Sheep Trading. Although I live in Auckland and they are in Christchurch; this was a very comfortable deal and the scooter is fantastic. It was delivered early and, on arrival, had already been pre delivery checked and fully charged ready to use. The scooter has enourmous torque when set up for full power and acceleration with both wheels driving but can be set easily to a low torque, low speed setting suitable for mixing with pedestrians and other footpath users. I'm 105kg out of the shower so as much as 115kg ready to go with my camera backpack and drinks on board. The suspension works well if sometimes a little harsh over some bumps. However, with four external coil/hydraulic shocks; tuning them is not a massive job and the option to replace them all with something else is certainlly an upgrade path that some serious riders might appreciate. Yesterday I rode it off road on a mountain bike trail. The scooter handled everything (except the long rooty sections) with ease. It sure is one hell of a workout for your legs and core and you'll need to grow "off road scooter muscles" if you're doing this regularly. It isn't cheating; it genuinely gets your heart rate up and makes you work. In fact the scooter was actually too fast for the tight tracks in places so I dropped ther max speed to level 2 and was switching in and out of 2/4 wheel drive as suited each twisty or open section. There were no hills I couldn't climb and the 2 wheel drive generally meant that it wasn't wheelspinning trying to get traction either. I note that the scooter has two charging points so I may just buy an extra charger for fast charging. I've added a phone mount and a bottle bracket to it and have even managed to mount a bluetooth speaker on the stem. Great machine but be sure to wear a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads at least. It will tempt you to go faster and faster and inevitably you'll crash. I wore a full MX body suit plus knee pads, armoured undies and a full face helmet off road.
