What great service! We were a group of 10 in the area for a special birthday event. Sundeia from first contact to post event was always available and supportive with ideas, solutions and general help. We had one tyre puncture with issues from glass on the trail that we were warned about, and she was available and on site to help us very quickly. All the bikes were great, and some of us are now converts to e-bikes..... Rate Sundeia and HBH the BEST :)

Incredibly easy to deal with large groups. We hired 6 bikes and they were all very comfortable. Easy bike ride to the start of the Triangle and in close proximity to some wonderful wineries. We will definitely be back for another trip!

Sundeia was extremely helpful and provided us with bikes tailored to our heights plus everything we could possibly need (helmets, locks, repair kits, maps etc). Our Lawn Cottage's client just hired 4 bikes from Hastings Bicycle Hire....awesome. Bikes were almost brand new, had all the accessories (locks pumps helmets etc) and what neat people to deal with. Very friendly people at Hastings Bicycle Hire and excellent value. We rented two mountain bikes for a week which also included a bike rack, pump and puncture kit. Flexible and down to earth people. This would have cost us twice as much at the first bike rental place we inquired at in Napier.

We came to Hawkes Bay for a wedding over Waitiangi weekend and I organised bike hire for my family through Hastings Bike hire. Sundeia was super quick at responding and extremely helpful with all my many changes, questions and requests. We were a group of 11 Aussies based in Napier requiring bikes for 4 days. Sondeia from Hastings Bike Hire organised suitable bikes for all our different shapes and sizes to be dropped off to our motel along with maps, puncture kits and helmets. At the end of the ride they picked up the lot. The service was excellent and the bikes were well suited to the tracks in the Hawke's Bay region. The price was very competitive too. I would recommend them to anyone looking at hiring bikes at a reasonable price.

Thank you very much for the hire of your Tandem cycle last weekend. My wife isn’t a confident cyclist, so hiring a Tandem seemed like a great way to cycle around the Vine yards at the Bridge Pa Wine Festival. If you're looking for long-term bike rental, this is the place. Great price for a great deal. They even offer a pick up/ drop off service (I was in Napier, so this helped immensely). It's a business run out of their home, so they are more than accommodating.

Really good prices, the bikes are new and in really good condition. Our packed lunch that was made for us was plentiful and delicious! The only suggestion I could make is that it would be nice to have more inside information about the wineries we would visit on our tour e.g. prices and opening times etc

Everything was just fine. Cheap price, complete necessary euqipment like helmet, lock, pump, map, lights and puncture kit are included. I had my bike for 4 weeks and in the end they did not charge me for the buckle in the tyre. I really can recommend this rental. This is the place to hire a bike! And not to mention it is the cheapest place to hire a bike and it turns out to be the best way to explore Hawkes Bay Sundeia is a warm and friendly person, always helpful! I can vouched for the quality of the bikes for hire, I took a non-suspension bike and went on to Cape Kidnappers, Napier and Ocean Beach and then back again to Hastings. Really good bike! Some tips for other travellers, if you are planning to go to Cape Kidnappers, you can go even if it is high tide, that is if you are confident of climbing over rocky rocks and getting a little wet instead of walking on the beach (when it is low tide). You can park your bicycle in Clifton Motorcamp which is the starting point for the walk to Cape Kidnappers, just allow yourself the whole day for this trip! Amazing and beautiful walk! And the ride to Ocean Beach, be prepared, it is very hilly and steep at some point but the beautiful beach at the end is worth the ride! There are many cycling trails around Hawkes Bay, so rent a good bike here and enjoy Hawkes Bay! Cheers!

Very good experience, wonderful couple to do business with. It is a home business so you need to call ahead but I texted and they were in contact within a minute. Prices are better than anywhere else as well.
