B.Really good quality meat and extremely well presented. The store is always clean and fully stocked. The thick cut steaks always make our mouths water. Customer service has always been good.
M.I have been using this butchery for 5 years without hesitation.
It has been by far the best,cleanest and most affordable butchery for what you get.
I recommend it to all my friends.
But last weekend i went to get my usual meat shop and i bought some sausage and a st louis pork rib.
The sausage was dreadfully over-spiced beyond edible.
The st louis pork ribs was off the day i bought it and defrosted it.
Went to the store and told them about it on the way to work and they didnt want to know anything about it,i never asked for a refund but the lady behind the counter came up with all the excuses in the book (pork ribs can’t be defrosted on the counter for 2 hours because it goes off)

J.I'm a country raised boy who usually gets his beef and pork cuts off our family farm, but due to this lockdown I've relied on getting all my bbq cuts from these guys and I can honestly say top quality, and one of the best butchers to get brisket, and variety of pork cuts from. Also top customer service.Definitely recommend to anyone out east and south Auckland ways 👍

J.Amazing shop. I get my halal pork from here when my family visit from over seas. It is also cool to no the meatloaf is vegetarian friendly from the staff and tasted like real meat. Very pleased.

M.Mostly great service, can buy South African sausage, biltong, BBQ coal etc. Do need to train new younger staff on listening to requests, I asked for spicy dry chunky cut biltong, I got Traditional dry, fine cut biltong and I was the only customer in shop at the time, not happy. Their prices are very competitive. Cashier always friendly.
p.Always a good selection of fresh, high quality meat. Bit more expensive than the supermarket but worth the premium, you can easily tell the step up in quality, especially on things like steaks where you get a nice thick bit of aged sirloin here as opposed to a thin flap of meat masquerading as a steak at the supermarkets.
V.They have really nice free-range eggs and lots of good bones for making broth. The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially the girl who is often at the counter. =)
Update: I've not visited Aussie butcher botany for a couple of years, and was horrified to read some of the comments suggesting racism left here. However, I ordered some meat for charcoal grill recently during the level 4 lock down, it was delivered soooo quickly and the meat was of superb quality! The guy who brought us the meat was friendly in physically distanced way! So my 5-star rating remains, and thanks once again. =)

V.Bought a 2 pack of T-bone from these guys. Bbqed it. When I had my first bite, I had to turn down the volume in Return of the Jedi, because that's how good it tasted compared to the local Chinese butchers and Pack and Save. Absolute ledgends.

C.I always go here for all my butchery needs. They're slightly more expensive than the supermarkets (only slightly) but give the highest quality cuts. They will also do custom cuts for you which is the main thing! Excellent service as well!
p.Best meat in Auckland. Came here 2 years ago. And looked forward to Moore rump steak and baby ribs. Very good value
