Really nice meat and great prices. Friendly staff. I travel to come here each week as it’s the best butcher I’ve come across in a while.

Mad Butcher will always be the best butcher for variety, price and fresh cuts of all meat. Especially this place... I actually meant to go to the $2 or more shop next door, but parked pretty close to the butcher. Anyway, I saw a sign on the butcher's window for 🐖 pork spare ribs from $17.99 and thought that would be nice for a change. So I went in for spare ribs, which BTW were absolutely worth the stop and I could've kicked myself!! $100.00 later I was loading my car with the freshest meat, cheapest milk and crispiest noodles for stir fry. Damn lol!!! Didn't have to meat shop for awhile 🤪! Excellent place!! Located just to the right of New World Mt Roskill on Stoddard Rd. May Road end of Stoddard. Really good deals Peeps. I would not steer you wrong. Get it lol!! Better go... Take care and always be safe out there!!!😊 Update on the pork spare ribs today... $9.99 per kg!!! From the looks prices fluctuate beautifully. Have to make room in the freezer first!! Happy shopping Peeps 😊💞

I always have a great amazing experience shopping at Mad Butcher in Mt Roskill. They have enormous supplies and with the best deals. Lovely staff , amazing customer service. If I order for delivery, always on time. They always impress us with everything.Our freezer is full with all their fresh meats and veges. They are the BEST. Thank you Mad Butcher.

Usually do a delivery order, but because we had a large order it was best to collect in store. I was abit early for pick up so we didn't find it a fuss having to wait for our order to be made up. Butterflied Lamb Roast Pork Roast Lamb

Must say travelling to Mt Roskill Mad Butcher is worth it. We do have another MB locally but we have always preferred Mt Roskill. The store always has a good variety of meat, awesome prices and other goods, store is spotless and the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Truly praise Steve for his professionalism and for being a awesome person in general. Mad Butcher Steve's awesome and truly needs recongition for the awesome job he does. 👍Values his customers 👍

Went here on 05/01/19. Just average not great. Limited meat selection, store is very cold in temperature. I found customer service ok. A normal supermarket butcher would be better. Now I can see why this chain is going down the hill.

Always great going into a decent butcher, prices an all are affordable Just like the good old days where I get my money's worth....

Clean establishment. Exceptional variety of fresh meats. The place is wide spaced and tidy for easy viewing of products. Meats were fair priced and they also sell boxes of a variety of meats for an inexpensive price. They also have Zip (Buy now, pay in 4 installments), which is a bonus. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative.

Excellent Customer Service. Dan the Operators Manager sparked up a conversation as soon as he saw some new faces. Made us feel really welcome and even gave us a welcome gift to Auckland. Best Customer Service I have ever been served with. 10/10. Not only a great team of people but very good quality of meat as well. I will be a regular in this store. Thanks Dan & The Team.

Such great, friendly service from the guys here, especially Micah. He goes out of his way for you, above and beyond, his service is outstanding and he is such an asset to the business. I also appreciate the friendly chat from Micah and the other fair tall guy, even if it’s just a friendly passing comment about the weather while you’re looking in the fridges, it makes you feel welcomed, they’re very nice young butchers. They may have had a few staff issues in the past but the young butchers there now are great and have really lifted the energy of this place. Definitely 5 stars!

Great deals on meat, some of the meats are in a nice marinade. Def recommend especially as they have zip pay.

Had a really lovely experience here today, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and really went the extra mile!

The meat selection may not be extensive, or even the finest, but it's good value for money and there's some good bulk options for parties. The milk is also good value. Lots of parking right outside.
