G.I love the products and the ease of ordering and delivery. We particularly love the rolled lamb roast - it is perfect for two people and the meat is always so fresh and tender. Would highly recommend- pricing is very reasonable and delivery within 2 days which is fantastic. Also great for gifts - whilst Auckland was in our never-ending lockdown last year I ordered a meat box to be delivered to my brother in Tauranga - he loved it, it was original and he had a wonderful bbq that night!

Delivery is always the day they say it will be and is still nice and cold, packed with ice and cool wool. We have ordered multiple times now and will definitely continue as we enjoy the freshness of the meat and the convenience of not going to the local shops.
C.Love the meat box! It’s good quality fresh meat, delivered to our doorstep. The only annoying thing is that the burger packet seal is open often, this happened twice, so I need to put them in a new package as soon as the box arrives.

The quality of the meat is amazing and you notice the little things, such as how little liquid is produced when cooking the mince (a number of supermarket ‘premium’ minces still have a lot of excess). Well let me tell you, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. With email contact all the way through each process including delivery, I was rest assured. The big test was that my meat box was delivered at 10am and I didn't finish work until 5pm, travel involved didn't arrive home till 6:30. The ice packs were slowly starting to melt but the meat was cold. Cold as my feet on a -5 frosty morning. I am totally convinced. A.Easy ordering, arrived exactly when they said it would and it was packed so the meat stayed cool even when it was really hot outside. I ordered some steaks, chicken and pork belly. Everything was great, with expiration dates a girl could dream of! Gone are the days of grocery shopping for meat, attempting to purchase a week's worth of meat playing expy date roulette. I can easily do my weekly protein shop here with no concern of the meat going off before we get a chance to use it.
The pork belly was huge, and fed the two of us for days. It was probably our favourite out of the lot, cost effective, and delish.
We normally like our steaks a little bit thicker than the cuts provided, but I'm going to put a note in my next order and see if I can get a thicker steak. :) The flavour was great, so even if we have to do a thinner steak, we'll be happy with it as it's far superior to supermarket quality.

S.I did the chicken in a brine the other day and then roasted it. It was lovely. I had actually gone right off roast chicken because they didnt seem to have much flavour. This chicken was wonderful. I have just slow cooked the brisket today. Brisket is another first. It was loved by everyone. We will definitely be back for more.

P.Have ordered twice and would definitely order again. Only missing one star because the phat burger that I received was a wee bit of a funny colour (we did the smell taste and cooked it anyway), and i feel that the weight for the meat is not as accurate as it should be. An example would be, I ordered one portion of baby back ribs and realised when it arrived it wouldn't be enough for 3 adults so I ordered a second one but the second one felt and looked bigger than the one I got earlier.
Sausages were great. Definitely worth getting, and the pork belly was a game changer. The butterflied leg of lamb was also yum but I might try the leg of lamb with bone on as I prefer a bit of fat and the butterflied leg was a bit lean for me. Another one to try is the marinated pork belly slices. Delicious ! The Phat burger was a good adult size burger but please remember to season it because I didn't know it wasn't seasoned (clearly don't cook enough burgers) and missed out on making the best burger that night from lackof seasoning.
💯 Will order again especially because afterpay makes us eating good quality meat affordable and easy.

S.I have ordered three meatboxes so far, its a little bit more than i usually spend on meat but its worth it to get good quality meat instead of cheap cuts that have been marinated to hide the fact they are getting old, that i generally get elsewhere. Delivery is superfast and always arrives chilled. Most recent favourite is the boneless chicken beasts, with the chicken herbe rub, grilled for a bit then baked in tin foil, melt in your mouth goodness!!! The steak is the best Ive ever had, even with my lack of cooking skills!!!

P.The Meat was lovely but I would be wary of ordering to much. We ordered 9 meals worth and did not check the best before dates when order arrived. Unfortunately several of the packs expired within a few days of delivery. Would definitely order again but either freeze some of the order or check Expiry dates to ensure we use before then.

D.Love the convenience of meat box but also since I'm post bariatric surgery I find I can't eat alot of meat from anywhere else it appears my new tummy is rather Boujee. Any meat from meat box sits well and that's all down to premium meat.
To be fair I would rather pay that little bit extra knowing I'm getting what I need in my tummy and it's so mouth watering.
