Shaun, Robbie were great people to deal with. This is now our 4 car my partner and I have brought Car off this dealership over the years. They put no pressure on me as it up to my 2 dogs what we buy which means they have to convince the dogs what is suitable for them. I would highly recommend as all staff are friendly and helpful. AAA+++ - We brought a Honda fit Hybrid in the end which both dogs LOVE!!!!.

Amazing experience! Walk the talk people. Shout out to Shaun, Robbie, and Blain who helped us find the car which is for us and that lasts. I highly suggest, if you go in the yard, be honest, tell them right away what you wanted and what price you can work around. This helps you and these guys to go to the same direction no time wasted. We were just driving around the block looking for probable upgrade of our car. We decided to park on a corner and wanted to go in the yard and have a look. SHAUN greeted us and asked us question as to what brought us in theor yard. We were looking for a new car 2012 model, high from the ground, and within our budget. We end up getting a 2015 SUV. The car dealer that does not PUSH to sell instead they'll push for your COMFORT and VALUE FOR MONEY. Definitely we'll be getting our next car from them.

I was asked what I was looking for and recommended only cars that fit within this criteria. The team were very flexible in terms of value when it came to my trade in vehicle. I had an awesome experience at Discount City Cars. As soon as we arrived on site, Shaun was very welcoming and keen on getting us a great deal. Blain made sure we were well informed in the financial decision we were making. Patrick and Robby were awesome. Very accommodating and knowledgeable about their cars. We were given a tour of the premises whilst looking at cars which was cool to see, as we were able to understand the process they go through to get their cars from yard to road ready. Had a visit at a couple of other car yards after these guys and Patrick had said we would be back. He was right. Very reliable team. Would definitely go back again.

My husband Dipak and myself have always bought our vehicles when required from DISCOUNT CARS NEW LYNN and last week we bought the fourth one. STORY TIME: Best experience buying a car from this place. Customer service is absolutely superb. I had been car hunting all year with my dad and knew what I wanted but just didnt find it in other places so I gave up on wanting that specific vehicle & wasnt interested in looking for a car anymore. Funny enough we walked into this store to look for a car for my cousin who was with us and straight away Shaun took us under his wing and showed us different cars my cousin may be interested in. Not long after , Robbie joined and asked who was looking for cars and we said both of us but I wasnt really interested. Robbie asked what kind of car I wanted , and without telling him the brand , I showed him the car my cousin was interested in but explained that I wanted it to be a bit smaller but not too big. Within seconds, Robbie said "I know what you're looking for, you're looking for a Nissan Dualis". Then and there, my heart dropped and I almost started crying because that was the car I had been wanting all year but just couldn't find one at places we had looked at earlier. This confirmed for me that these guys really know their cars. The whole process went by so fast and we could've taken my car on that same day , but I had requested to have some changes made to the car and without hesitation , these boys agreed to make changes straight away. They were also able to take my old car as a trade in, very close to the price we asked for which was a bonus for us. We spent the day at this place getting things sorted for my car and had even more superb customer service from Finance Manager Blain. Made us feel very comfortable to ask questions even if it was the same one over and over again lol So thank you very much Blain for being so patient with us but also making us feel so comfortable and welcomed. I picked my car up yesterday and everything I had asked for was done perfectly. So a very big thank you to you both Shaun and Robbie for the excellent customer service and for really looking after us through this process. Highly recommend this store if you are wanting a trustworthy team that will take care of you and help you find what you are looking for. Scored a new car and a few new brothers laaasskouuu. I purchased a 2009 Toyota Vanguard from Patrick Doherty on Sunday and he was very accommodating and knowledgeable and I highly recommend as a salesperson. He made the purchase simple and even got the vehicle a new WOF and registration on a Sunday in order for me to drive North. Robbie, the Sales Manager was also great to deal with along with Blain, the finance manager. These guys make up a great team and all the staff we dealt with including the workshop technicians were friendly and I could tell they all enjoyed working there. As we walked into discount city cars, we were approached by Shaun (salesman) with his bubbly personality, warming welcome and great communication, he told us the information we needed to know, answered all questions and made our journey much more pleasurable. I bought a car of these guys and found the experience to be really pleasant. Everyone was very friendly and informative. I called back after the sale with some dumb questions but they remained very helpful and kind.

Brought a car today here, was friendly approached by Pat and Robbie who later helped us heaps. These guys were massive help, i dont know much about cars but they were helpful with any questions you have. Ex car was at mechanics, not drivabale and had Robbie who came with us to mechanics and drove the car for us. Everything was explained thoroughly and clear. Thanks heaps to Pat and robbie! Hi there, Looking for a car deal wasn't easy, & I needed one yesterday. I had shown interest on several different websites for a little over a week. I heard from one who requested the paperwork but never got back to me. Still searching at 3am Saturday morning I submitted yet another interest, to Discount City Cars. To my surprise when I awoke had several missed calls voice mails & a text from a gentleman called Shaun from there. Shortly after I answered the call from him around 10am that morning we had a little upfront chat & Shaun said I needed to be there by 11am. Thanks to Shaun's expertise & quick caring approach I was able to drive home to Mangere in my new car that same day. Went out looking for a cube ideally and found the perfect one for me. Exactly what i wanted and Shaun was very friendly and gave me a great deal. Shaun Sharda is extremely helpful to help us to buy a Mazda Axela there. We have our own budget in mind and Shaun just worked on it to get us the best we can afford. We didn't feel any push to close the deal. The car was delivered in a very good conditions. A very good buying experience.

It was wet. It was raining. The staff were outside with their umbrellas. Despite the poor weather they went out of their way to help us and were extremely enthusiastic. The first few options were not to our liking but Martin saved the best for last and we found our baby. Something that suited both of our needs for now and in the future. The financing process was easy and Blaine showed confidence and knowledge when walking us through the steps. I didn't buy a car here because the price was a little high, but in hindsight I would consider paying the extra for the service I received. Martin was exceptional - friendly, helpful and went as far as to advise my of my rights under the consumer guarantee's act. They have a workshop and from the 2 occasions i went there / test drove I was impressed by their service. The car I purchased in in the end was cheaper, but the service has turned out to be dismal and shady.

My family and I had just migrated from Fiji to New Zealand towards the end of 2017 and buying a car was on top of our list. Having chosen to settle in Auckland, we found a cosy little town called New Lynn to start our life here. New Lynn had a lot of car dealerships, and all side by side on Great North Rd so picking the right one to walk into was a stroke of luck. We were served by a young gentleman called Martin. He made sure that we told him of all our requirements and he proceeded to show us around depending on our requirements and our budget. We found our baby, a white 2009 Daihatsu Bego at behind the building at a secluded, just waiting for us to pick her up. Being new to New Zealand, we did not have any credit history and that was another roadblock for us but thanks to Martin and the team at Discount City Cars, we managed to get financing and now 8 months later, our baby Lindsay (as we call our car) is running smoothly and is quite economical - just exactly what was promised to us. I don’t have any hesitation to recommend Discount City Cars to anyone that is looking for a good investment. Great range, friendly and knowledgeable staff, affordable and just overall superb customer service across the board. Give them a call today.
