I just would like to say a big thank you to Richard Johnston of Coombes Johnston BMW and of his attention to detail and his hands on approach to me as a very particular and fussy client. The service and eye for detail was exceptional, and in finding and sourcing the right car for me. I would highly recommend, and will refer my own clients and friends to his company.

I never thought that I would find myself using words like “enjoy” and “like” in connection with a car dealership until I bought a car from Coombes Johnson with Jack Brassey’s help and advice. Even though I eventually settled on an Audi that had been traded in, and not a Mini or a BMW, he could not have been more helpful and was particularly astute in assessing my needs in a vehicle. When over a year later a repair was needed, they again came up trumps and together Jack and Glen had the repair done the next day (and at a very reasonable price!!!) despite needing to source a part from Audi. I was so grateful. The only problem with this business is that they have some very tempting vehicles on display. The Mini Countryman plug in electric was so nice (and Jack explained its features in a way I could easily understand) that I am on a mission to get my husband out of his Jag and into one - failing that, it’s my next vehicle of choice.

BMW Hamilton The customer service is as fine as the vehicle, A1. I was pleasantly surprised at the pricing for services. I was called about all issues with my car and offered genuine, practical solutions. The staff are efficient and friendly. It's nice dealing with people who have common sense and a can do attitude. What impressed me the most was discussing the future care of my vehicle and what to do about it. Thanks for grooming my car too. I can't speak highly enough of this company.

Excellent service from the team at Coombes Johnston after my Mini broke down in Hamilton on my way back to Hawke's Bay. The staff were more than helpful. My Mini was given priority to get me back on the road. I was very impressed with their service and help.

We have experienced many vehicle purchases over far too many years at least 10 of those new BMW’s. The experience has generally been reasonably professional but for the first time ever I’m motivated to post a review because the experience in dealing with Coombes J (for the first time) has been - remarkable Ben the sales exec has followed up on everything pre & post sale but being in the dealership one can see & feel the whole enterprise is focused on the Customer. They clearly get that all customers are different and can’t help enough. Thing is it’s totally & unequivocally “genuine”. I bet it flows from the top & back from their people similarly What a pleasure - highly recommended

I made a parts request for an older BMW, the parts rep had great knowledge, was efficient, ultra polite and helpful. The part was sent when expected and communication was clear.

Simply the best, one and only BMW dealership to go to in NZ. Have been driving BMWs for 20 years and had so many challenges with servicing/parts/customer service until I came across CJ BMW in Hamilton despite a 3 hour drive. It was the best thing. Decision to buy my next BMW to replace my beloved E38 was easy. Aidan and his team truly restored my trust to stick to my favorite ultimate driving machines BMW through their care. If you are an avid BMW fan, this is the only dealership I would recommend.

I recently had to call into Coombes to get assistance with a boot that had jammed. I was driving to Wellington to attend a funeral of a close friend and was really upset, so to have my belongings jammed in the boot was just the last straw. A very kind and compassionate man called Matthew could see I was upset and set about getting my boot open asap. I was really grateful for the great service and was soon on my way. He didn't even charge me. Thank you Matthew and Coombes Johnston. Very good customer service!

Absolute beaut of a company. As a former employee and customer I am blown away by the customer focus, innovative processes, outstanding service, quality expectations and delivery. The team here is full of 10 plus year employees with a outstanding knowledge of the brand and experience right through the workshop to the showroom. A team you can trust.

Fantastic BMW all-in-one centre. Got my airbags replaced for free (despite being a 3rd hand owner with an imported 318Ci from 2002) and it took less than an hour. Great waiting lounge with a variety of hot and cold beverages while we waited. Small selection of BMW merchandise and of course all the newest models on display.

impressive team at BMW Hamilton, Sam, Adin and Nik done an excellent deal from me. Very happy with there service. At the level of care they given, will always choose BMW, prime brand and prime service. Like the layout and design of the show room, sure will back again.

My favorite place to take care of my car. People are experts in BMW and can works with other cars too. The service department are so friendly and I like dealing with them. They always ring you after u take your car back to hear your feedback.

BMW cannot be faulted in their customer service and presentation. Friendly, professional staff that really make you feel at home offering drinks / coffees for customers and even a business centre area. Thankfully Coombes Johnston BMW Hamilton is now a certified 'i' service centre so I can get my i3 electric car serviced here now instead of making the trip up to Auckland. The new show room is impeccable and I love all the scale models of various BMW concept cars (my favourite being the one in the bathroom vanity). Also worth mentioning that there is an electric vehicle fast charger here that is free to use during opening hours and is a 'bring your own cable' type charger.

If you are thinking about buying a BMW ( new/used), my husband and I strongly recommend you to consider Coombes Johnston BMW (Hamilton) as we have had the most pleasant and satisfying (much more than being satisfactory!!!) experience in replacing our BMW recently. Since last year, we have dragged a bit in replacing the car as we want not only just a car at a reasonable price, but equally important, some human-touch in the whole process. Then we saw the advertisement of a new BMW we have been considering. From the very beginning of our telephone contact with the sales representative of this dealer, through the process of consultation and negotiation, the preparation and handing-over of the car as per our requests, to the follow-up calls to check on clients’ satisfaction and the other promised after-sale services in future, we feel that the personnel of Coombes Johnston (Hamilton) really work as a team seamlessly and share an exceptionally high standard of customer service. In a nutshell, they treat the clients more than just a number to fill the quota! They show patience, understanding, a collaborative spirit in making a successful deal and have kept their promise to follow-up. Yes, this dealer makes a difference – quite unlike some others my husband and I have come across.

Best BMW dealer in New Zealand with service department that is exeptional in terms of problem solving, finding cheap alternative and nice, friendly professional people like Greg and Mathew. They even take care of cars other than BMW like my R32 GTR. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE FOR CAR ISSUES.
