From helping download the app for charging stations and explained how it all works and all the car features. S.Very EXCELLENT experience. Nicholas is very helpful and thoughtful. We just move here and our original car is delivery on the way. We want to have an EV to test whether it fits us or not. Nicholas lets us test-driving for couple of days (due to lockdown, actually weeks). Finally, we get our first EV here. The EV has 5-year battery warranty, life-long WOF and general maintenance. The EV also has wheel adjustment etc. We are very lucky and happy to on board: thanks, Nicholas.

I dropped in to buy some strut covers for my 40 kw that I hadn’t bought through them (I didn't buy from a dealer but if I did Hamilton EVs would be my first stop). Nicholas gave me the strut covers at no charge and gave me number plate surrounds and registration holder. I’m more than happy to promote Hamilton EVs on my car. Always happy to have a chat and always helpful. Helped me with the strut covers and extra key fob for my 24 kw last year too. If anyone’s looking for an ev then this dealer is the place to go for advice and service.

I just took it in for its yearly wof and service. They hit the nail on the head with there customer service.
R.We recently purchased our first EV from Hamilton EVs. Less than 2 months later we needed something fixed. I called up Nic, and he arranged the tow truck, the loyalty car and the repairs (all remotely I might add, he was driving back to Hamilton from Taupo at the time). We put their "no exceptions no exclusions" warrantee to the test and they pulled through. A week later we had our car back, the problem was resolved and at no charge to us! It made my life much less stressful at a stressful time. Highly recommend the service at Hamilton EVs

A.Excellent and hassle free service. Replaced my dead 12V Battery and I got a home charger from them as well. The car dealer who sold me the car never provides me with a New Zealand charger. Highly recommend Nicolas and Hamilton EV to all the EV drivers and who want to start an EV journey in Hamilton.
Another excellent service, helped me replace my flat tyre within 2 hours, so I am not running late for an important appointment. Really saved my day!

H.I bought my electric car from here because I wanted to be able to have people I could return to for any help I might need with my car ( a 2013 Nissan leaf). I'm very glad that I did as I've bought an affordable EV that has given me over a year now of low cost driving. Nicholas and Shane have been on hand to answer phone calls and texts (including after hours sometimes) in the first weeks when I was getting used to a different way of driving, and testing out the paces of my car, especially the range.
The main use was nearly daily trips into Hamilton from Ngaruawahia. Over the 15 months since purchase I've spent only $130 on charges out of town in total when driving to Tauranga, Auckland, Matamata, Thames, Rotorua, Morrinsville. Buying through Hamilton EV's meant that my WOF was free and the only cost I had was for some new tires and wiper blades. I am paying for my charges at home of course but I havent noticed any difference in power bills.
Nicholas and Shane have been super helpful with all my questions and have always gone the extra mile with their service. Usually my preference with shops and businesses is good service and then I'm prepared to pay a bit more for it, however, with my car I have had such low costs and had the service I like. Can't lose really...
L.Buying an E car for the first time requires an education... if you like me have done your research, you will arrive with a few clues... but it can be a case of you don't know what you don't know sometimes... and thats where Nicholas was great. Without telling me what to do, he helped me find what I was looking for. And to understand what there is to consider when buying an E car... to make sure your car meets your needs as well as your budget. The ongoing service and support Nicholas and Shane provide is excellent and shows their heart is in their work. I love my car. Driving an E car is such a great feeling, knowing when you put your foot on the accelerator you are only using electricity... combined with solar power it really does feel like we can turn our planet around.

The blue Leaf was a special order, I wanted a "mint condition" 2011 Leaf with low kilometres and a very specific specification and colour combination. They worked with me to find exactly the car I wanted, and imported it from Japan for me. Now I'm the proud owner of a 12 bar 2011 Leaf with 3,400 km on the odometer!

They asked me a few Questions, educated me on ev's, which alowed me to ask lots questions. I get free serviceing, free warrant checks every year, free breakdown insurance, full 1st year rego. And much much more. Please go see them even if just want to take one for drive.

S.Nicholas was careful to explain what would be done in the service and the cost involved and rang to explain extra items needed to pass the WOF (which was part of the package) and to get my ok to go ahead with the replacement of two tyres (the main extra item).Should now be good for another 100000 kms.

L.We bought our ev from Shane and Nicolas a year ago... We had a wish list low k's... High soh... Color... And price... A few days later they had a car!!! And its the best car ever!! We were new to the ev market and they explained it all so we could understand it. We have solar so in this year its cost us virtually nothing to do 10 000 ks... However when we charge on the low power days its $7 for a full charge... We've had no drama but a quick text or phone call to ask a silly question sorts me out.. And piece of mind if I'm ever stuck on the side of the road these guys will be there... Touch wood I'll never use their free service.. .and a bonus we are doing our bit for the environment as well.
