m.These guys are genuine people who look after their customers. I hit them up a whole year after buying my car (which hasn't missed a beat) about an issue with a wheel stud. This work had been carried out by a different company on their behalf (at the time of purchase) and they still covered the cost to get it repaired. Much appreciated. Highly recommend.

P.We searched for a second hand car for a week and got a great recommendation to check out Hutt Valley Wholesalers. When we arrived, Mike understood our budget and preferences and recommended MY DREAM CAR (one that I was eyeing when we walked into the showroom). He answered my burning questions with patience and kindness and we left thrilled with our buy. A few weeks later, sadly the car had a transmission issue and Mike told us to bring it over to Motor Tech where the car can be checked. Again, the process was so efficient and they loaned us one while the car was being fixed. When we return to collect our car, we were surprised to hear that our excess has been paid for by Hutt Valley Wholesalers as they felt responsible for the issue as we just bought the car. THANK YOU SO MUCH MIKE and your team for having such great after-care service and for the kind gesture. As a family that just moved to Wellington, we are touched by the kindness and honesty of the people here. For our second car, we will definitely be back!:)
P.Love these guys. Bruce and the team are amazing. Brought a car recently and had a few costly issues a few weeks after purchase (nothing wrong from their end) and they got it all sorted for me no questions asked. Really knowledgeable about their cars, but also don't pester as you are walking around browsing. Most definitely would buy from them again and would encourage everyone else to do so as well!!
Y.Bought a black Mercedes AMG not long before lockdown, I could not get up to view due to work commitments but Bruce was super helpful at getting me a Pre Purchase Inspection and also Transport to the South Island much cheaper then what I could. I was a little apprehensive as I have never purchased sight unseen and also transferring a large sum of money to someone I had only talked to on the phone is not usually a smart thing lol Bruce was great, so friendly and not at all what you'd assume of a car salesman. Mike was incredibly relaxed about allowing me to test drive the vehicle and set it aside for a pre-purchase inspection. There were no pushy sales pitches or a sense of any strings attached.
At Mike's suggestion, the pre-purchase inspection was with my own mechanic, who couldn't fault the car. I was incredibly grateful to the team for not batting and eyelid over having me take the car off site for a couple of hours to get this done.
When I returned, Bruce helped me through the paperwork in a matter of minutes with minimum fuss.
Given their range of cars and their level of service, I would recommend Hutt Valley Wholesalers as the first place people check out if they are looking for a new car.

N.Mike was great to deal with, not at all pushy, answered all queries and processed application as quickly and efficiently as possible. This is like the pak'n'save of car shopping, and we are really happy with the product too.
K.Zero negotiation possible, nice enough guys but rather blunt at times. Listed car on trademe at 2.6 but would only sell it in person for 3. Good logic there, didn't have 2 seconds to stop and listen..
Decided I wanted the vehicle anyway and went back, had an argument over my average feedback on here, they wanted the vehicle to have a fresh wof which was nice but I couldn't take it to VTNZ or my own place, Motortech on Laery st gave it a WoF even though it has perished suspension tophats and a breakpad that is grinding, they did reduce the price to 2.5k which is a bloody good price even with the issues. My advice to anyone looking at buying a vehicle from these guys is go when it's slow.

N.I bought a second hand car. I have had it for 8 months ,I have done 12 000 km no problem.
K.Walk in. Look at vehicles. Wait for someone to ask you if you need assistance. These guys are obviously doing okay, 'cos no one will come out of the office. They will leave you to wonder around the vehicles.
