S.Booked car at Rotorua A/P in September. First class booking service and was very surprised to see not only a good service counter at at the airport but also that the car was in a designated area immediately behind the terminal. (many other car rentals ferry you to another depot quick often some distance from the airport and it all takes time!.) However RaD provided excellent booking in and access to the car - all under 5 minutes!) Same upon return, just parked in RaD's space and 'booking in' was a dream. Car was not new but was very well serviced and handled like a dream. Thanks! Will definitely use the RaD service and network again.

M.First time using these guys in Auckland but they are just as good as their Christchurch branch. Prompt shuttle service, car ready and waiting, older car but serviced and working well and far better value for money than international companies plus at Auckland you have to wait for the passenger bus to take you to those companies - RAD is now in a group with Omega and Pegasus so brand may change, hopefully nothing else does.
M.We have probably used RAD a ten times over last 3-4 years. We had never had an issue with the company or any of the vehicles we've hired. They're always clean/tidy late model cars. Would highly recommend RAD.

B.Good value for money car hire. We picked up the car late but the process was very simple. Only had one problem with the child car seat so if you want a rear facing child seat for younger children, ensure you request it when arranging.

J.Excellent transfers to & from airport. The vehicle [10 years old and with 211,000km on the clock] met all of our needs during our holiday. It did have a vibration in the steering at 100kmh, and reverse was sometimes difficult to select, but apart from those two things, it was just fine.

S.We rented a Land Rover Discovery for a month, picked up in Christchurch and returned in Auckland. The after hours staff picked us up from the airport and the Auckland staff were very friendly. Bit of a quirky used car but treated us well during our travels. Would definitely recommend if you are on a budget!

D.I have hired many cars out of Auckland Airport and I must say this recent trip has been the best so far, so good in fact I am leaving them a review, I booked online, chose a late model suv and when I arrived everything was better than expected. The vehicle had under 50,000 on the clock, handsfree and blueteeth. The most pleasant staff and wait for it - no add on's... What I paid for the vehicle and its insurance was what I was quoted when booked. The experience I had here was great, keep up the good work and if you are reading this I can say use these guys as they are proud of what they do and it filters through in their product and service. A+ experience

L.Fair service and to improve it further your drop off shuttle driver should ask if any passengers are travelling on Air NZ instead of taking all passengers to the Jetstar check-in drop off on my trip, otherwise all good.

J.Well, I turned up having been informed that the car was parked in verisissimo drive car park, which shuttle bus took me to.
On seeing the car, I wasn't bothered about condition of vehicle, but trust me.. It was rough looking... Hey.. I'm not buying it... Its functional etc...
On collection the car although marked as full of fuel... It was not.. And mileage as marked down incorrectly... So somebodies having a game! Or has done to the tune of 100kms or so on detour
I REQUESTED a rebate of a token 20 dollars... Nothing heard...
So, functional car, engine underpowered wouldn't pull skin off a rice pudding.
Brake judders under braking , (indicates warped discs)
One of the Wheel bearings started vibrating,.. I'm a mechanic so fully aware...
In all you get what you pay f looor, this was adequate... Just..BUT I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN
