Couldn't Fault the service we received from RaD Car Hire at all as from the time we touched down at Hamilton Airport to when we drove out the gate was about 10 minutes max with all the paperwork prepared and only my signature required. The car was well presented reliable and suited our need perfectly. We will defiantly recommend RaD Car Hire and will be using them again

It would have been helpful to have had a quick run through about radio channels. These guys went above and beyond! When with bad weather my flight was unexpectedly diverted to Auckland. Arriving in Hamilton by bus late at night many hours later than our scheduled arrival we were nervous about collecting the rental car. We were so surprised and relieved that they offered to meet us at such a late hour. I can't imagine that any of the big Rental companies would have been so kind. And the car was great.

Hadn't used this small rental firm before, so was slightly nervous about the pick-up and drop-off process at Hamilton Airport. I needn't have worried - we were met immediately on entering the terminal, the staff member waited patiently as we collected our bag and courteously escorted us to the nearby vehicle. The documentation aspects were the quickest I've experienced. The car was clean and serviceable. Drop-off after five days was equally simple. No waiting for shuttles or in queues, no laborious photographing. Highly recommended.

Fantastic small car rental place in the center of Hamilton. Good rates and the car was in good shape. No pressure to buy unnecessary extras. But most outstanding was the caring service. I had to cut my trip short because of the virus. If you return a car early at most rental places you are out of luck. Rad refunded me the days I did not use. Will definitely use them again next time I need a car in the Hamilton

Wonderful experience hiring with Sally & Jim at RaD Hamilton. Cheerful, friendly, helpful and excellent service. Hired a Mazda Demio which was clean and well maintained. Not brand new but great little car at a great price that took us all the way to the Bay of Islands and back without missing a beat. Also good on petrol. Most pleasant car rental business we have dealt with. So nice to deal with a family business rather than the cold and impersonal service from the big names. Due to trying to book last minute and with several car rentals, RAD was legitimately the best. Offering a reliable car that was a treat to drive. Highly affordable. While other car rentals were offering $1200 to use their car over a 5 day period, RAD offered under $600. Friendly staff to deal with. Highly recommend!

Nice people. Have rented from them several times. The last time we booked a car for two weeks, but they allowed us to return it a week early and out of hours and quickly refunded us. Probably the cheapest place in Hamilton too.

When in need for a rental car I always look into the condition of it, whether it is clean inside and out, fine tuned, and technically sound for me to ride on. Years ago after meeting with tech problems or sticky wheels from two other shops I found RaD Hamilton Central and stayed with them ever since. From my personal experience with them all these years, I found that their cars are very well maintained, spick and span, loaded with considerately prepared guiding material and stationery, and waiting in front of the shop ready for pickup. Renting and driving their cars one has a good, hassle- /worry-free, and safe feeling, which is why that I invariably go to this branch now in all occasions, particularly for touring with our friends from afar. Above all these, one can expect their competitive prices and good service, their treating you with full respect and carefully listening to you, etc. I can't think of what else do I want more, or where else shall I look further. Definitely go back to them again. Thank you Jim, and thank you Sally! You guys truly deserve a top rating!! :)

Can't recommend highly enough. We had a car hired from RAD Auckland which developed a very strage noise on our drive down to Hamilton. We popped in to RaD Hamilton just before they closed on Saturday lunch and Jim could not have been more helpful. As the garage was shut until Monday, he contacted RaD Auckland and then agreed to lend us another car until ours could be looked at Monday. Service above and beyond and a huge thanks once again from us.

I have rented many cars before all over the world and I can honestly say this is the only car hire company (Hamilton branch ) where I feel that I am not being ripped off! The customer care is first class, they do not try and coax you into a higher car level and explain that scratches on the hub-caps will be accepted. Handing the car back was a stress-free experience and with no additional charges this is a company that I will definitely use again when I return to see my brother in Hamilton, New Zealand. Dont let the name 'Rent a dent' put you off, this is a great rental company. The best I've dealt with, they are very easy going, our rental was very last minute so we got a bit of a banger but it ran on the smell of an oil rag. They also provided a shuttle to the airport that left when we needed it to go.
