Booked through the website - easy to use, good value. Location is good, with prompt airport transfers available later than other companies! Car was an economy car, but clean, tidy and reliable. Customer service is excellent. Very friendly, helpful owner Sue/Sarah?? Went above and beyond to extend our booking another night last minute due to us getting bumped from our flight. Would recommend.

A very pleasant no fuss service. A great experience booking with Pegasus Nelson. Sarah was great, pick up and drop off at the airport was well organised and speedy. We took a Nissan Note for 10 days in April around the upper South Island and although the car was nothing fancy, it was clean and ran well. We appreciated knowing that Sarah was only a phone call away if we had any issues with the car. Great price for a good car and lovely service, would book here again.

Sarah was wonderful, picked us up from the airport and sorted our car very efficiently. We were making a quick trip down to Nelson to visit my Brother who is terminally ill. Coming back was just as easy and Sarah was very nice, saying when the time comes for his funeral, that she would look after us no problem. Although the car was not the newest, we had no problems with it and Sarah's charges were very reasonable.

I needed a car for five days to get to Golden Bay and around. Because it was the post New Year season, every company I tried wanted around NZ$600 but Pegasus Nelson was the only one with normal prices not inflated for the holidays at NZ$215. Their cars are about the same standard as their cheaper competitors (ie. older used cars) but they were clean and trouble-free. And best of all Sarah is the really genuine, cheerful, helpful type. This is a small owner-operated business and the importance of her customers really show through. Best of luck to your business getting over Covid.

Excellent car rental company. Have rented a car from here on two separate occasions now. Good pricing and quality cars with no mechanical issues. Cars are clean inside and out. The owner is lovely, very friendly and went above and beyond for our family, which was really appreciated. If you need a car for local travel or to tour the South Island with, just let her know your requirements and she'll see you right. Forget the other rental companies and look no further than Pegasus.

This was the best rental car experience we've ever had - Sarah and Walker went above and beyond to be extremely helpful. Sarah picked us up directly from the Nelson airport with no delay, and she and Walker were incredibly flexible in accommodating the reservation to a change in our plans. They were also both very friendly - offering us much needed advice on our trip and helping us navigate the Interislander ferry. The car was also great - clean, small (perfect size for the winding roads we drove on), and in new condition. Can't say enough good things - definitely recommend!

I've used Pegasus Rental Cars several times for business and have found their service to be excellent. They go out of their way to accommodate fast turn around times for airport collection and getting paperwork done quickly. Speaking of paperwork, I would always opt for the insurance waiver with any car rental company. It's not expensive and gives peace of mind. The vehicles from Pegasus are always tidy. Excellent and efficient staff member ensuring, that we fully understood what we were signing and being responsible for ensuring that we fully visually checked the vehicle that we were hiring, before it left the premises. The vehicle was very clean and fueled before we took charge if it. On return she ensured to check the condition of the vehicle with us going around it with her. Price was fair and reasonable Staff member was very polite and easy to understand, both before we picked up the vehicle and when we returned it overall a pleasant experience.

We hadn't arranged a rental car before coming to Nelson but after a visit to the I Site Centre we thought we should get a car for a few days to have a really good look around the local area. Made some calls and went with Pegasus as the lady was really helpful. We were picked from our motel which I thought was really good of them to do for us. I was telling everyone about being picked from motel and my son finally said "mum they have a free transfer to and from accommodation between 8am and 6pm it's right here on the flyer" so mum was the on going joke for a few days. Car was clean and price was good too. I would hire from Pegasus again I found the couple very nice and easy to deal with the Frost family wish you all the best for the future.

Wonderful service and a great car. We were driving from Nelson to Christchurch over a day and a half and they capped the kms so I didn't pay extra and they did everything they could to reduce the total cost, I will definitely be using this company if I ever need a car in Nelson again.
