This is one of the best setup rental car company that I've used. So nice to receive a txt when coming off the plane to say to call and where they were for pickup, also drop off was between there shuttle, so the office lady (owner) dropped us off to the airport. Highly recommended

Very happy with my experience renting with Queenstown Rental Cars. They were very quick to respond to any email questions and the meet up at the airport was quick and hassle free. We were met by one of their drivers who walked us to the car and we were good to go. Very happy to have a 4WD as we didn't have to put chains on one of the days we went up the mountains. Drop off was quick, easy and meant we weren't rushing. Would definitely use again.

We have been renting from Queenstown Rental Cars each year for the last six years and couldn't be happier. They provide excellent service, airport pick up/drop off is always very smooth and efficient, cars are always very clean and nothing is ever too much trouble. Addition of a roof pod to the van this year was brilliant and far easier for carrying five sets of skis than ski racks! Great value for money, and the 15% discount day pass vouchers for Cardrona are an extra bonus! See you again next year!

Kerry was fantastic. The booking process was easy. Our party of four was greeted at the airport and driven back to collect our van. With the van well equipped to accommodate four mountain bikes, this was the perfect way to start our A2O and Queenstown adventure. Thank you for making it a seamless experience! Murray provided excellent service. The car was in good condition and he threw in a free GPS unit. It's good to support local firms, and Queenstown Car Rentals are friendly, personal and a good bit cheaper than the big firms. The free airport collection and drop off on return were much appreciated. Highly recommended.

First time using this company, usually use the big muilt nationals, but Murray provided everything I asked for in my email and meet us at the airport and nothing was to much trouble. The vehicle was clean and well presented, serviced and ran well. Have no hesitation in recommending and using Queenstown Rental Cars again.

This was my first time in Queenstown and Queenstown Car Rentals was recommended to me by my brother-in-law. Murray was easy to deal with and picked me and my family up, and dropped us back at the airport. He explained how to use the snow chains and ski racks as my family and I were going skiing for the first time. Murray was very helpful. I usually use the big multinational car hire companies when I travel, but not when I go to Queenstown anymore as Murray offers a much more personalised service.

Another great welcome to Queenstown, Murray met us at the airport, and we were quickly on the road. The four wheel drive people mover was great for our family and friends, plenty of room for our luggage and the skis on the racks above. This was our third hire with Queenstown Rental Cars, and each time they have been prompt with the quote, and then confirmation, the vehicle has been as promised and complete with chains and ski racks. We no longer look around, we just email Murray & Robynne for best value and all round great deal. It is so good to deal with real people.

Highly recommended. Queenstown Rental Cars is located about a mile from the airport. Murray, the owner, is a first-rate gentleman. Very friendly and up front. Threw in a GPS for free. And drove us to the airport for no charge after we returned the vehicle. You can't ask for more than that. My wife and I love supporting small businesses over the big companies. And we're very glad we went with QRC.

We have used this company three times, once in the summer and twice in the winter. They supplied us with a bike rack for four road bikes when no other company said they could do this. The team at Queenstown Rental Cars were lovely. Very helpful. The car was fantastic. No problems at all. Very close to the airport. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I've used this company twice now, and on both occasions the service has been exemplary. Both times, the cars provided have represented excellent value for money, and have come with extras requested at no additional charge. On the most recent occasion, we misplaced our car key, and Murray managed to courier a spare over to us in Wanaka by lunchtime that day. I would not hesitate to use them again, and would recommend them to anyone visiting the Queenstown/Wanaka Region.

Excellent service - quick with emails, was waiting at the baggage carousel when we were planning to ring after we collected our bags, dropped us back to airport without any hassles, friendly and helpful. Excellent pricing - booked a good 4WD station wagon for the price of a very small car at any of the other major rental company's, all insurances and excesses were explained clearly with no pressure to purchase. Our first time in New Zealand so we hired a car from Queenstown to drive to Wanaka and the ski fields. Murray and Robynne were both so hopeful - they included snow chains, a sat nav and coupons for Cardrona. Car was reliable and made it up the mountain 4 times.
