This company are honest and reliable in their dealings, and I think they could be the cheapest in Queenstown. The late model Subaru XV we hired was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The team were friendly and professional to deal with. Highly recommend RaD as a non-rip-off car rental company. They also gave us a ride back to the airport for a minimal fee.

Super friendly and very competitive prices. I booked their most budget car and the quality was still top notch.

This was a great option for us traveling to NZ with young kids. Pickup went smoothly, once I found the phone to call from (it’s on the wall outside of the departure terminal). They bring the car right to you and then you drive to the office for the paperwork (2 minutes). The price was right and the service was excellent. The car was clean and comfortable, exactly what we asked for. We would happily use RaD again.

The most relaxed car rental agency I've ever had to deal with! The staff were so nice, we could even pick our car up a little early, and everything was super chill. They made renting a car for the day so easy!

Second time using them. Great customer service but the car this time a bit disappointing caused it uses premium fuel which end up breaking our fuel limit budget. Other than that all good.

Highly recommend RaD to anyone visiting New Zealand. As a probationary driver from Australia not yet aged 21, my friend and I were refused service by many other car rental companies in the area, including a company we had in fact booked with online months in advance. After numerous phone calls, we found RaD and Mark was extremely helpful. We were able to rent a car at an awesome price and ultimately save our trip. My friend and I would like to thank Mark and the team at RaD for their service, really appreciate it guys!

High recommend. I use RAD Car Hire for work and personal use and have always been impressed with their service. Recently used the Queenstown branch for a project in Fiordland and the team offered excellent service and support. The rates were good, vehicles sound and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Was lucky enough to head to Queenstown recently and the amazing trip started with Rent a Dent picking us up from Queenstown Airport. They put us into the perfect hire car for our adventure and at a cheap price too. Plus they were very helpful with lots of insightful information about the area.

If you need a car rental in the south island, look no further! My husband and I rented a car for the week after some friends recommended Rent a Dent. It was easy to book, their service was very friendly, they were waiting for us upon arrival, and we loved our little car!

Car was exactly what we needed. Not flash but just a standard car. The price was up front and there were no hidden costs. We have been ripped off by 2 other car hire companies in the past so this was great. Genuine staff. We were involved in an accident which wasn't our fault and it was no trouble - their staff sorted everything and we didn't have to pay any excess as it wasn't our fault. I'll definitely be hiring here again!

Older vehicles, friendly staff, fast booking process, and efficient pickup. Rented a "Compact Premium AWD" vehicle from Queenstown RaD on 2 Jan 2019. The Subaru Impreza (KGK901) was 10 years old and had travelled 174,000km. Most vehicles awaiting pickup at Queenstown RaD were roughly 10 years old, e.g. Subaru Outbacks (JJJ298, KBY539, JRC376) and a Subaru Forester (JNE429). The vehicle I hired had been very well cleaned and drove well.

Last year we hired cars from Jucy and they were no where near what we got from RAD. The cars were excellent and we paid less and got more. Seriously use these guys, it's a no brainer.
