Great, easy, hassle free rental company. The staff are great and the car we hired (Nissan Leaf) was a dream to drive. Was also the best price in our area including private rentals. Thanks heaps! :)

We've used Mode a couple of times now, their pricing is reasonable and the service is friendly and efficient.

Best price we could find anywhere for a 25 day rental. The process was efficient and the staff were friendly. Free airport pick-up and drop-off. The outside of the car wasn't perfectly clean, but wasn't an issue. I recommend.

We were very happy with both the car and the service. They kept things simple and clear so we were able to collect our car and leave on our journey in a very timely manner.

We picked up the car with no issues and handing vehicle over was very efficient and speedy. The staff were so welcoming both on pick up and drop off. The vehicle was great and very good value for money.

Young man very polite and accommodating, great customer service. Their premises not too far from airport. Vehicle we have so far, good for price I paid. They appear to have a good line up of vehicles for hire.

Very happy with the service and friendly staff. I left my very expensive cardigan n the car and they found it and it was returned. Very grateful.

Clean cars and helpful staff.

Excellent value for money and the cars we rented worked well for our needs. Quick and efficient pick up and paperwork completion. The car wasn't very clean - we had to do the windscreen inside and out. Things to watch out for: we booked through the internet and it was a third party site. Couldn't find a way to book directly with Mode. There is a $3000 bond/ hold put on your credit card when you pick the vehicle up and it states it can take up to 7 days to refund. This is not mentioned anywhere in the booking process online, but does appear on the confirmation voucher you receive. We had booked 2 vehicles and they made us pay 2 separate bonds. We took the insurance option, but only learnt at pick up time that if there was to be any damage, we would be required to pay for it with the $3k bond and claim it back from the insurer. The insurance is not with Mode. That aside, the people onsite were helpful and friendly and knew what they were doing. Worth using them as they were very much the cheapest option, but do be aware of the fine print.

This car rental company is one of the best in New Zealand, they have best fleet of cars from safety to reliability , very professional and friendly staff who cares about their customers. They go the extra mile for their customers, I strongly recommend Mode Rentals if you are looking to a hire a car or campervans.No Regrets

Good kiwi company doing a good job at keeping the bigger rental companies honest. Definetly worth a try. I rented 3 differed vehicles over 2 weeks and they have been great every time.

We hired the nissan leaf 100% electric car having no knowledge about electric cars we found one on the mode rentals site not only was it affordable to hire we are highly impressed with these cars as the inside had lots of room and the comfort with heated seats and heated steering wheel etc,its very zippy wee car and overtaking on passing lanes no problem at all We drove from.wellington to.hastings and charged twice along the way Which gave us time with the charge times enough time for a coffee and a walk around The customer service was excellent at mode rentals and are highly recommended

Great value for money

The vehicle provided was as promised. A slightly older model but it was clean and in good condition and great for the price! Pick up/drop off was prompt and staff friendly. Will definitely use again.
