I've never had customer service so good from a rental car business. I had to rent a minibus for our sports team to use for a week at a tournament in Wellington. Lee went above and beyond the call of duty to make things work for us. On top of that he gave us a great price and a great van to use. I highly recommend all groups use Vancy and Lee, you won't be disappointed.

Rented a truck last minute and the staff member was really helpful, pointed out exactly how to work the diesel tank, where the gears were in the transmission and explained everything regarding payment so that there were no nasty surprises. Definitely puts car rental companies to shame. Will definitely use these guys again without question when we need a truck or van again. Highly recommended!

All of the reviews here are right on -- these guys are wonderful to hire from. We hired a campervan and it was nicely and carefully outfitted, with everything we needed (including extra batteries and electrical hookups etc) and even had wooden furnishings. They really helped us learn about the van before-hand (we hadn't driven and camped in one before). We had the most wonderful trip ever -- and so much of that was due to these guys. I'm aware that this may sound exaggerated... but it's not. We do very much appreciate dealing with people who care about their business and their service. It was such a pleasure! Thank you!!!!

We booked a truck through Vancy for our move within Wellington. It was very straightforward and affordable. The representative gave clear instructions for driving and a lot of handy tips for maneuvering the truck, which was extremely helpful as I had no experience driving something like that. The truck has a camera off the back of the container for reversing and was easy to drive. Absolutely recommend, will definitely use again for our next move.

I could tell you how easy it was to book with Vancy online, how efficient they were at getting us on the road when we arrived to pick it up, the friendly service, but what you probably want to know is that when the dreaded thing happened and I crashed the Vancy truck, the guys were so amazing. They were calm, offered me a free extra day of hire for the truck ( so that I could get it unstuck the following day when the weather cleared up)and got me on the road with a van to continue the move. We were only charged for the mileage and gas for the replacement van which came to under $20. They really went above and beyond and helped alleviate the stress of what was looking like a very stressful day. Would absolutely recommend. Thank heaps guys.

Great rates at Vancy Rentals. But the best thing was the service offered by Lee. When we rang him in a panic because we were running out of time, he happily let us keep the truck for about another 3 hours beyond our booked time. We didn't drop the truck off until about 8:15pm, and he usually closes at 6pm! Lee's understanding of our predicament and his willingness to be flexible got us out of a real bind! Thanks Lee for your fantastic service! We will recommend you to anyone who asks.

The whole move with Vancy was very smooth. Very helpful and friendly service. We got picked up from the airport which made everything so much easier for us. The new toyota hiace automatic was so easy to drive up some of the steep hills in wellington. Next time we need to hire a van to move, my boyfriend and I will definitely go with these guys again. Its super cheap!

Another company had double booked the van I needed and told me when I arrived. Boo. I went to Martin at Vancy and even though it was short notice (ie the same day) he found an option, a van was returning at 4pm. Better later than never I thought. But then he rang to say it came back early, so we were able to get it earlier. Martin was really professional, helpful and friendly. Kia ora!!!

We hired a truck from Vancy Rentals last week for our house move. A good experience overall, Vancy Rental's truck was spacious, rental price was reasonable. The truck was easy to use. We quite happy with our rental. Also mananged to saved quite a bit of money by not using a moving company. Happy to recommend Vancy Rentals to other people.

There were 9 of us including 2 babies, we hired a van from Vancy for 4 days. It was perfect there was plenty of space for all our gear including pushchairs and portable cot. The van was clean and in excellent condition and was very easy to drive. Would definitely use again. Sandra

Perfect people to go to if you just need to hire a moving vehicle for a day or two. Their prices are by far the lowest, but they still have top quality vehicles, and customer service. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else for a second. These guys are the best!

We were regular car renters from a company just around the corner from Vancy but when they put their daily hire prices up we were sent to Vancy who were a lot cheaper. The customer service was awesome and now we don't go anywhere else. The cars we've had have always been well maintained. Top guys'

Had trouble getting a van on a Sunday. These guys were open and easy as to deal with. more than happy to help and it wasnt a problem. 2008 hiace that went great and good on gas. Can't complain at all. They didn't mind me being a couple hours late on return aswell. I would recommend for sure.

The van was good, did the job and they had availability at short notice. I would however suggest taking as many pictures as possible of the van before you take it. Upon return they claimed that one of the dents in the van was not there when I hired it. They looked at their own pictures and tried to say that It wasnt there. It was only when I was able to compare close up pictures and video of my own, it was apparent that the damage was indeed already there. I took close up pictures and video of the numerous dents and scratches on the van before I hired it to cover my back. All pictures were geotagged with the date, time and location.
