Friendly and prompt service, has several car brands available for renting and sizes to suit ,you pay for the rent plus insurance or the excess if there's no insurance, the vehicle is delivered to Whakatane airport with full tank of petrol / diesel ,and must be replaced upon return.

Friendly customer service. Use Hertz several times in Rotorua Tauranga Taupo and Whakatane. Found Whakatane customer service prompt and helpful.

Hello I rented a car from here a few weeks ago. It was a last minute request but thank you very much for being so helpful and staying after office hours to find me what I needed. Everything was explained very clearly. I returned the car on Saturday evening, and I received the final invoice first thing Monday morning. Thank you and I'll definitely be coming back again to rent from here.

Hertz Whakatane personnel were "top shelf" in all aspects of their service!! Vehicle great condition, albeit lacking a key safety in regards to no reversing camera. Not the end of the world but a good tool to have.
