First time user who didn’t know how to use the self wash and which options to choose etc … arrived there and was met by a super friendly and professional host - Matt! I was blown away by the level of support he gave me! He was professional, explained the best way to get maximum value and wash my car well… then he came a couple of times to check in to make sure I was doing well! I spend $9 and my car looks as if it was professionally groomed and it took me about 10mm and I was driving home in a super clean car! AMAZING! I’m there new customer!!

There are two automatic car washes. They vary in service and price. There is an on-site vacuum and air freshener machine. However, the main feature is the 8 do it your self car washing booths. They charge $1 a minute and you can choose how you wish to was your car. Obviously the more options you choose, such as a degreaser, post wash wax etc will mean you need to spend more time which results in you spending more money. Be careful because the time runs out quick. All machines are coin operated. However there is a card to carwash token machine. Minimum exchange you have to do is $10 and in return you receive 5 $2 wash tokens which can only be redeemed at the car wash. Open 24 hours. Best to go after hours so you don’t have the helicopter owner keeping an eye on you. I recommend bringing a bucket although you are not allowed to. Pay $2 for two minutes, then fill the bucket with soap for one minute then soak the car with water for the other minute. Then use the supplied brush to scrub your car. After that spend another $2, power rinse the car for a minute, then finish off with the wax for the last minute. Easy wash for under $4.

Under New management. Good place. Mostly busy. Used to be Tj's car wash. Would be great if you can start the machine with $1 instead of minimum spending $2 in the machine.

Ok not long enough when self cleaning, the time goes really fast. For example To soap a Honda Odyssey ONCE we had to run the machine twice, with missing areas (untouched) from rushing trying to get every spot. The brush is heavy after a while on rush mode.. - Other wise good exercise. - Enjoyable to watch the results from dirty to clean.

Cool to wash there. Things are clean and the Asian guy who maintain the place even give me tips to make sure I dint scratch my own car with the brush that doesn't have foam in it.

Always a wait at peak time. Good to go at night or early morning so you dont have to wait. Facilities are maintained well.

My car once dried still looked dusty dirty. This kind of car wash is probably best suited for cars that are washed weekly. Next time I'll need to wash by hand, otherwise it did it's job, it squirted out soap and water. Beware: when using your card to pay you're charged an extra $1 😳 there is a small sign there which says this.

You don't need to bring cash. There is a card reader that dispenses tokens for the vacuum / carpet cleaner / etc. You can also use them for the car wash (though the car wash also takes coins and a card reader). The guy there told me you can combine tokens and coins but you can't combine tokens with a card payment. I ended up spending $30 for a car wash (which was $16) and also vacuumed my car inside and also used the shampoo for my two front seat mats that had dried mud on them. The shampoo is bubbles coming out of a brush attachment. You switch it back to the vacuum to suck all the bubbles up. It cleaned it really quickly. Each token lasts a few minutes but it beeps when you have a minute remaining. You can put all your tokens in at once but I preferred to do one at a time so I could gauge how far my tokens could go.

Updated, changed review to average. Coin slot chews up $1 coins. Must have $2 coin to keep the wash running. The sign says "$2 to start" but this is misleading because once you've started and happen to let the wash stop while you think about the next step for your dirty car, you again need another $2.

This is my go-to car wash. It works, prices are pretty reasonable and it's open pretty late which is nice. Love the use of potable water! Nice to know its a bit more eco friendly than other car washes or doing it at home. Has definitely come in handy during the water crisis! Removing a star because one of the machines ate one of my coins and there's no one around late at night to provide assistance.

This place is great, you can use the two automated wash bays or the many, I think 8 to 10 self service high pressure wash and water blasting bays. Because this facility has recycled water they are one of only a very few car cleaning facilities available in Auckland. The automatic wash unit with the roller units works really well, I did have a very minor issue, for some reason the unit stopped, but one of the personal on site was there immediately, fixed the problem and re-set the program and the finished job was great. Very pleased to recommend vehicle owners to make use of TJ's Car Wash on Te Rakau Drive, Botany area, especially if you're a bit lazy like me, or if you have plenty of energy and want to do the work, then this is set up perfectly for you.

Usually very windy during the day as it’s perched adjacent to a valley that funnels all the wind. So it’s easy to get soap everywhere when you’re trying to wash, or the soap drying by the time you do the whole car. The high pressure wax and soap were not very soapy/waxy when compared to Washworld, so I didn’t get the same waxy look on my vehicle. Hence the 4 stars.

Pretty good. I was in a hurry, so I used the automatic wash and it did the job nicely. I drive a company car though and would think twice if you actually cared about the paintwork of your car as these aren't a substitute for a handwash at home with decent quality products.

Super great car wash. A money changing machine which was amazing and a life saver. Definitely loved it here. First time and will probably come here regularly. They even have rainbow coloured soap, I'm bringing my daughter and telling her they have unicorn soap, haha. The only issue is sometimes the bubbles leak from the metal bars above the car which can be frustrating but it's minor.

We chose the automatic brushless ultimate car wash for $16. The attendant was very helpful and guided us in our first time using their service. Our car was quite dirty after coming back from a road trip and I was hoping it would give it quite a good clean. The rest of the car is quite clean but there was a streak along the side of the car where it did not get cleaned. I would go back but maybe clean my car manually instead.

Good service from the attendants but I found their machines to be a bit rough. Drove through the auto wash with my one week old Isuzu D Max and when I came out on the other end noticed the machine had somehow ripped off my mud guard. Aside from that they appear to be very popular and are well organized. Well worth supporting... maybe time for them to open a few more branches across Auckland.

You do all the work but thats what you get from a self wash car wash. I did like they have brushless automated car wash and its the same price as your standard petrol station car wash. it can get busy on the weekends but if you head early in the morning youll normally get straight in. if its your first time there is normally someone there to help explain everything to you.

Came in today to wash my 4wd(alot of mud), friendly staff came in to assist and told me to what to do after washing as the washing bay is always dirty afterwards with 4x4s. I offered to help and to use my own money to wash bay but staff said "no its not a problem, we'll manage it". These guys wash the bays and washing equipment for the next happy customer. Iam honestly very impressed with their professionalism, enthusiasm and equipments.Sorry mate I forgot to say thank you and ask for your name today but you sir, you are an absolute legend👌👌👌THANK YOU!!

Used the Supreme Car Wash - when drove out there was a drip of chemical -pink and green droplets on the car bonnet and car door - I believe that was when I was driving out the car wash driveway, the spray may have dropped a droplet of chemicals onto my car.
