We truly had the most amazing experience of having Viva la Vaca as the caterers for our wedding in December 2020. Matu and Chelsea are the dream team and are amazing communicators. Any questions that we had they were fast to answer them and any problem that we had they quickly came up with solutions. Our guests absolutely raved about the food on our wedding day and we even had some of the delicious salads to take home for a barbeque the following day. We loved having the choice of the different menu options and only wish that we were Nelson based so that we could spend more time eating more of Viva la Vaca's delicious food.

Best Argentinian bbq ever in my life! U can find them at Kirby Lane market on Saturdays and at Motueka market on Sundays, everything we had was 100% perfection, the steak, pork belly, and especially their homemade chorizo, absolutely mind blowing! Ps go early in the morning, things do sell out pretty quick there.

Viva la Vaca provided their food truck service for the first night in our multi-day wedding. The food was DELICIOUS! The cooking trailer looked great and it was a lot of fun watching these guys prepare the beautiful and tasty food. The team were a pleasure to communicate with throughout the process, even though we planned our wedding from London. They were happy to work with us to make the food fit just right with our plans. We would love to do it all over again - thanks so much guys!

So glad we choose Viva La Vaca for our catering. We had lots of positive comments regarding the food, it was delicious. Also, Chelsea and Matu were super responsive to our original query and getting all the info through to us. If you need event catering choose these guys - they make it so easy!

2 words... BUTTER BOARDS! These guys are the absolute BEST! The type of caterers, that you really want to sit down and join you for dinner. So friendly, and helpful, we couldn't ask for better food or a better experience! Chelsea and Matu helped us create the perfect day for our Wedding in February. Everyone absolutely raved about the food, and bellies were very full by the end. It's not often you hear someone say "holy sh*t, try the coleslaw, it's incredible" Bonus was the leftovers for family lunch the next day. Thanks again guys!! Jo + Brad - 29 Feb 2020 PS. Chels & Matias catered our family reunion and we cannot recommend them enough. They were easy to communicate with, punctual and they went above and beyond what we had asked for. They catered for any special dietary requirements and made sure no one missed out on the deliciousness they had created. The food was freshly made on the spot and was absolutely devine and far exceeded our expectations. Along with amazing food, Chels & Matias also provided us with some classic husband & wife entertainment. They are such a neat couple and an absolute pleasure to have around. We look forward to them catering for us again in the future.

HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Viva La Vaca! The Food is unbelievably amazing and delicious. They catered our wedding of 100 people with such a great selection or small and large portioned bites with salads straight from their cart. Guests are still talking about the food 3 weeks later. Chelsea and Matu were so easy to deal with, flexible and helped us out with more than just the catering, giving us suggestions and thoughts about parts of our wedding we hadn't thought about.
