Great service. Awesome food. The food took some time to arrive but worth the wait. A friend had ordered a mild chicken korma but was quite hot for him. They immediately replaced the dish. I had a hot and sour which was good. My husband enjoyed his butter naan and paneer makhani. Staff genuinely care about their customers having a good experience. Highly recommend the place.

There is a very large selection of food in my opinion, the place looks really nice and it is quite good to go there and have a nice evening. However, even though the food is okay the customer service and staff is what is really pulling up the stars because in terms of food its maybe 3.

Highly recommend! Incredibly delicious food (my favorite is the Butter Chicken) with friendly staff. The Mango Lassi was perfect, made with real mango! I'll be back here again soon!

Had been craving butter chicken all day. I walked in and was welcomed and seated next to the entrance. After a while, I felt cold as the door was open and asked the server if I could switch tables to a free one on the other side of the restaurant. I was told no, as it was a table for large groups. I ordered Butter Chicken and I was surprised how quickly it arrived, within 15 minutes or so. Once I tasted it, I knew why. It definitely tasted reheated. The sauce had the consistency of being reheated in a frypan as some of it was a bit hard, as if being scraped off the side of the frypan. I think when the sauce was reheated, the chef didn't whisk it, as the sauce was not consistent. However it still tasted good. The portion was good, as I couldn't finish it. Upon paying, I asked the waiter when the butter chicken was made. He said it was fresh and I told him it did not taste fresh. I did feel sorry for the man though, because although the restaurant wasn't full, there were quite a few people there for one waiter. Food was good, not great. May try again another time, on a different day and choose a different meal when there will probably be a different chef.

Nice curries offered here. It's not fussy but the staff are nice and I always enjoy the food. My son loves the butter paneer and the chicken madras is my go to dish. Reasonable prices and friendly, what more could you ask for.

I ordered veg samosa and before paying i have clearly asked one of the staff and she confidently said we make it now. But they just heated stale ones in owen and packed in aluminium foil. The samosa was soft which meant to be crispy and curry was cold. Its certainly not worth of $7.5 for two samosas. I am a regular customer here and never had bad experience except this time. Nice staff and service, but needs improvement in other aspects.

Ordered a mild to medium beef biriyani last week. Turned out to be an extra hot one. Restaurant rang, apologised and delivered a mild biriyani today. I really appreciate the gesture.

Warm and inviting decor. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Friendly and very helpful staff. Service was fast and we had lovely warm plates to start off our meal. Wide selection of foods, catering to everyone. Vegetarians and Vegans would be very well cared for eating here as the menu for them is impressive and has plenty of variety. Meat was tender, fell off of the bone and the meals had a traditional authentic flavour - Not heaps of sugar and cream which was refreshing to see. Pricing is very reasonable considering the large portion sizes and exquisite quality of the food. This is the only Indian restaurant in West Auckland that has truely won my heart. I'm never eating anywhere else when I fancy a tasty, authentic Indian meal! Thank you Raag! I had a wonderful evening and I'll be back with all my friends very soon! ❤️

Went there first time to experience and see what they offer went in with no expectations and oh my god the flavours and spice were just so good. The food was delicious and what I loved the best was you can order the sizes you want normal, large or family pack. The Naan were also good The best was the service and the way the order was taken and executed. Mind you it was all takeaways but still the service level was exceptional Coming back for sure it’s a gem close by So thank you team KIR keep the good work and flavours going

I celebrated my birthday and the team put up a lovely birthday message for me. Great service. Great food. Definitely coming back and will be recommending to my friends and families. I would highly recommend to anybody who wants to dine in or have a party.

We had a great time there this evening with our table of 14 people. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone in our large group commented about how excellent the food was. The meals arrived quite fast considering how busy the restaurant was. We will be heading back there soon for more. Hands down the best curry shop I've been to and I have been to a few over the years. I order beef korma med hot garlic naan and its just divine,, even the naan is top taste compared to other restaurants. I have been here many times over 3 year's. The staff have always been welcoming and friendly and if I make regular phone orders they know me by name and know what I want! Highly recommend this restaurant, I'm sure even a dine in meal would be a pleasant night. Thanks guys, you rock!

I have eaten frequently at Kurukshetra restaurant, in New Lynn either for Lunch or for dinner , with my family as well as different group of friends, and we have enjoyed it very much. Our compliments to the chef for his delicious dishes. Besides, the Staffs' customer service is flawless. Well done all of U & keep up the good work. 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Only visit this place because of the service and staff, specially Keya, Vipan and the chef. Food quality is reasonable but bit overpriced. Also the place needs lot of work specially the carpet, it’s really dirty and filthy. If the owner takes the reviews seriously hopefully he will do something about it.

Great food.....really tasty and nicely spiced. Friendly and unintrservice service......these guys always have a smile and seem to know when you are ready to order. BYO wine but extensive and reasonably priced drinks menu. Very well priced $32 for 2 curries, rice, papadoms and corkage. Easy parking. This place has been a regular haunt for us for years for dine in and take away. Went downhill a little earlier this year but they seem to be back to their usual standard. A hidden gem in suburban New Lynn.

Everything was handled with efficiency and attention to every detail was given. Food was delicious and service was extremely well. Great selection of tasty meals with a traditional style. Unexpected quality for something chanced upon down a suburban side street. Look for the Open sign in the window - entry is through a nondescript door that makes it look like the place is closed, when they're actually open.

Takeaways via Uber Eats. I'm ashamed to admit, I ordered the white peeple special, old mate, Butter Chicken. It was very very good and an excellent example of a butter chicken were the cream, sugar, tomato components were very well balanced. Wasn't watery like a lot of places! Also had Lamb Saag and Paneer tikka. All of it was excellent. Will be ordering again.

Hidden gem. I rate this one of the better Indian restaurants in Auckland. Fragrant and spicy dishes, not too salty. Great biriyani and naan breads too.

The food here is great and pick up is a great option but delivery is far from ideal. Had to wait over an hour and a half for delivery and when I called to find out where the food was all I was told multiple times that the driver was on his way and to wait another 5 minutes. Won't be doing that again.
