A. M.Enjoyed our 2 night stay in the standard studio. If you do book this room be aware that they have Club night Friday and bands so it'll be loud. We didn't mind too much because we had fun guessing the songs lol. You are within walking distance to cafe's and restaurants or you can visit the restaurant on site. The room was clean and you have everything you need. We'll be returning in the near future.
k. a.Our over night stay at the Citizens Club was 👌🏽 Exactly what what we wanted it to be, they have kind friendly staff, clean and tidy ensuite room, I even made good use of the washing machine and dryer facility. we would definitely stay there again as well as make use of the room service and restaurant they have available.

I. P.Out of towners visiting family at Rotorua Hospital, this place was recommended, as was situated just next door, super convenient and perfect for families needing accommodation with close proximity to the hospital. Facilities were clean and provided the basic necessities.

s. b.Highly recommend the restaurant, just in town for the weekend. Staff were so friendly and tailored my meal for me. Fast service and food was amazing. I had the lamb shank with fresh seasonal vegetables. Meat was so tender it fell off the bone, veggies were fresh and cooked to perfection and the portion size was really good value. Would definitely come back again.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The price is good for a basic tidy room.
You do need to keep the window closed at night due to traffic noise and bugs attracted to the light. Not a problem with the fan on.
Please look at how the towels are washed. They are like sandpaper to dry yourself with. Not very pleasent.

H.As a non member I had to sign in for the midday lunch setting, however that was all, it is a older place but is well maintained, clean and tidy, the meals were simple fare, ie fish & chips, pork roast, beef curry and more, we enjoyed our meals and the staff were great, will definitely be returning.
S. K.Welcoming staff Lexi is outstanding! Room tidy good size with nice furnishings and decent bathrooms. Live music from downstairs usually stops around 9 and can be a little annoying if you're not in the mood but if you're then it's entertaining

Reception staff are informative, they'll give you a note if you've been a rowdy guest when complaints arise. The room I had didn't have a kitchen, check room information if any kitchenette is a available . Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Will go back to again and again.
J. C.Location is good perfect for a short weekend. Good service and good value for the money. Donwside is the walls doesnt have good acoustic insulation. I coudnt sleep last night as the next door room had a small party til 3am

The staff were simply wonderful, it's safe to say me and my husband weren't having the best luck the weekend of our first wedding anniversary, not to mention it was my husband's birthday! This citezens club were able to offer us a room, clean and spacious at a reasonable price. The atmosphere in the club/pub down stairs was great! A little taste of home :) could absolutely recommend!

D.Really lovely staff, very kind and helpful people- as are most of the people I met in Rotorua- The Citizens Club in Rotorua provides inexpensive and nice ($85 per night) but pretty basic accommodation right in the centre of town.. everything is pretty much within walking distance from there. They have meals and a bar as well. Everything about this place was great- the staff were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay 😁

T. I. J.Been in a couple of times on a Tuesday with family for their dinner specials. Talk about bang for your buck! Whether it's the minute steak, the schnitzel or the roast, they will all fill you up. And the beers are cheap also so that gets a star by itself.
L.It's close to main Street. A bit noisy at night, probably good for party people. Descent structure. big bathroom, only ceiling fans no air conditioning. Friendly staff, parking very convenient.
V. S.Lunch prices have gone up, but still enjoyed. Battered fish meal with chips and salad, (fish was fresh) includes cheesecake dessert for $15, still worth it.

O. M.Celebrated our kuia's birthday there. The food was great but the highlight of the day was being able to share a meal with Family and Friends. The Rotorua Citizens Club provided the perfect atmosphere for this gathering to take place. Awesome!
X.Good family restaurant with 1 highchair available. There are in door and outdoor seating areas. This is self service, you are required to clean up after yourself and bring your dirty dishes up to the counter.
For customer convenients there is a smoking vending machine and lighters for purchase from the bar. There are steal buckets available for smoke buds, smoking only outside on the deck.
There is are toilets available for customers outside. The best toilets for wheelchair access are located inside the club, very clean and tidy.
There are pokie machines on site, you must sign into the front desk. Pool is $1 per game. There is a claw machine for the kids.
One your 3rd visit you will be required to become a member of the club.
