J.Really pleased with my screen repair from Phone Doctor - unlike most other repair shops who replace the screen and glass as one unit, if possible they just replace the glass so you are left with the original high quality screen with TruTone in tact. Super fast service and helpfully cleaned out the charging port which I though was faulty.
C.I damaged my phone with condensation in my bumbag while mountain-biking on a hot day.
The Phone Doctor has a hot plate he uses to evaporate condensation. (Don't bother with rice or dessicant) He opened my phone and put it on the plate overnight.
The next day though, traffic was so bad that I could only make it ten minutes after he closed. I emailed him and he very kindly drove back into town with my phone and dropped it off to me at work.
Absolutely above and beyond.

E.I was van packing through NZ and my phone was not charging. I went in to see Dara and he quoted to fix the cable port for a very reasonable price. When it turned out he needed a part from Auckland and I told him I was leaving Wellington the next day, he offered to loan me a phone and send the fixed phone on to an address I was going to be staying at in Tauranga. He even offered to pay for the return postage of the loan phone. I arrived in Tauranga to my fixed phone waiting for me. My experience with Dara was that he is honest, reasonable, extremely trustworthy and professional. I would go back to him for any phone issue and would recommend him to anyone.

Put it in for a screen repair and got my phone back within an hour. The Phone Doctor repaired it for less than I was quoted by other store, it was fast and he made me laugh. Bonus points.
E.We took in our iPad Pro to get the screen replaced, which was gutting as the whole process is quite expensive. But that’s to be expected! They’re so reasonably priced, with great service. They fitted me on a screen protector too for a lot cheaper than most other shops about town. The guys in the shop are so funny and friendly too. We really felt like our iPad was in great hands - and it was! They fixed the screen in less than a day...and even dropped it off at our house as we couldn’t make to them to pick it up ourselves. I ordered the repair online, the Phone Doctor picked it up from my home, repaired it and returned it, all done inside 2.5hrs. Outstanding. Will certainly recommend.

P.Insanely good service! Came and picked up my phone and dropped it back off repaired in about an hour like new after some water damage. They also do an after hours service! S.Hi all, I smashed my phone in the evening around 7pm and messaged phone doctors via facebook. I recieved a response shortly after. The kind gentleman offered to have my phone fixed that very night in afew hours. Dropped my phone off to his shop at 9pm and by 10pm he had finished it and dropped it off at my address. Absolutely amazing and I got to keep all of my information on the phone. Highly recommended!! Thanks mate. Above and beyond.

L.I took my Samsung Galaxy S8 with a cracked screen and Dara was able to fix it within a few hours! I was so pleased to get it back to working order so quickly. I read lots of reviews for phone repairs in Wellington and not all shops in Wellington repair S8 screens. One of the shops recommended the Phone Doctor and I'm so glad I took their advice. Highly recommended!

I've just had my Samsung tablet battery replaced by Dara and there was a hiccup of supplier sending a wrong battery and I need the tablet ready by the 31st Dec. H.I took my HTC M10 here to get a new battery. I was told that I can get a cheaper price if I buy the battery myself, or they're happy to order it for me. Went back with the battery I bought, and had it replaced on the same day. The repair took longer than expected, so the phone was dropped back to me at work. Outstanding service, great quality, and reasonable price.

k.I had an issue with my side buttons for the Huawei Nova 3i.
I had my screen replaced in Johnsonville and it came back with a glued volume button and loose lock button. So I called Phone Doctor and explained my situation.
Phone Doctor quoted me $50 based on how Johnsonville told me I needed new buttons. Upon inspection in store, Phone Doctor showed me the issue and told me that I did not need new buttons. Therefore, they only charged me $30 to fix my phone buttons.
It was awesome how Phone Doctor showed me the inside of my phone and explained to me the issue in detail. He also let me try out the fixed buttons before paying, and offered me to call with no hesitation if any issues arise. They also provide free phone counselling if you're unsure about your phone issues.
The service time was within 30 minutes, as they predicted. There is a nice coffee shop inside and I tried their hot chocolate, I highly recommend!
TLDR; Honest and friendly man with amazing service!

Where I had originally took my phone the first time I was told that my two year old $1,450 phone couldn’t be fixed and I would have to replace it.After consulting DoctorGoogle I came across The Phone Doctor, Dara, in Wellington.
