This is the first time I have visited a Chiropractic. My experience has been nothing but positive, enjoyable and worth every penny. Dr Emma Mead is fantastic, very thorough, explains things very well and is very professional, which can be said for the whole First Chiropractic Hastings experience. Incredibly thorough and professional in their processes from the very beginning; the initial consultation, the report & findings given and explained, to an explanation of the recommended treatment and then also a thorough and professional progress report a month into the treatment plan. The weekly treatments are very efficient and always on time. I recommend First Chiropractic to anyone who is considering this type of treatment.

After years of problems with my spine and neck resulting in lots of pain and for which doctors could not really do anything, I decided to try a Chiropractor. As I have a nearly 70yr old spine I was not expecting miracles and merely hoping for a reduction in pain. However, after just over a month of treatments, I am now able to move my neck so I can look behind me without turning my whole body. The constant headaches and neck pain are gone. My posture and overall movement have improved greatly as has my general wellbeing. This is truly a holistic approach to wellness. Everyone I have dealt with at First Chiropractic Hastings has been lovely and very professional. All is explained clearly with visual aids. Absolutely delighted with the service I have received the last few weeks at the Hastings location of First Chiropractic. From the front desk staff, to the zen feeling as you enter then location, to the professional and personable etiquette of my chiropractor - I am very pleased with my decision to become a patient at First Chiro.

Thanks to Emma and the team at First Chiropractic Hastings my 61 year old husband is now able to work again on our self employed business. Earlier this year he suffered a severe concussion which was being treated by several different people - he had acupuncture, physio, all sorts of cat scans and x-rays, doctors appointments etc and still extremely bad headaches, slurred speech, and extreme tiredness. Then we met Emma and her team at the Women's expo in Napier and after just 3 appointments he was feeling less tired, no headaches, no slurred speech, and thinking much more clearly - his main problem was actually a whiplash which hadn't been picked up by any of the other practitioners, he has been going to 3 appointments a week for the last 3 weeks now and is almost back to 100%. Amazing results after nearly 4 months of pain he's off most of the medication he was put on and has a lot more energy. For more than 7 years I suffered from acute back pain due to a severe back injury. First Chiropractic gave me peace of mind by first giving me a thorough examination, x-rays and thermography before applying any treatment. Once they fully understood the areas of concern, they have carefully treated the areas of my spine that were an issue, all the time, checking that I felt comfortable with the treatment. Seven months in, I am thoroughly pleased with the results. I no longer require pain medication , no spasms, my posture has improved significantly and I can now exercise everyday without pain or repercussions. My family and friends scared me away from ever going to a chiropractor. However, I did a free assessment with Emma at a home and garden show and learned about a whole new side of chiropractic care. After an injury, I decided to give it a try. Firstly, Lynne is a complete asset to the organization. She greets you, explains things and answers any questions you might have. They are really lucky to have her. I then sat down with Emma. She does a really great job at explaining what is going on with your particular situation and answering your questions. I love that they use the Activator Method Adjustment Tool, as that decreased my apprehension from all of the chiropractor stories I was told when I was young. Emma does a great job with the adjustments. She really tries to help you with any spinal related issues that you have. She is also a wealth of knowledge. I haven't met the other chiropractors at the organization yet, but I have heard they are just as good. I highly recommend First Chiropractic if you need any chiropractic care.

I limped into First Chiropractic 4 weeks ago suffering with major lower back, hip and "stuck" kneck pain. I have over the last 4 weeks been completely blown away with the life changing results I have and are experiencing! Slowly but surely the pain of movement subsided and my mobility and ease of movement was restored! Bending, twisting and raising my legs without pain is so weird now, because that's all I ever knew! I am a work in progress. No pain relief or anti-inflammatory medications are needed now which is a miracle in itself! I highly recommend First Chiropractic if you are suffering from back, hip and kneck pain. It really has worked wonders for me and has given me back a better quality of life:)

Excellent and loving chiropractors. Went out of their way after normal opening hours to accommodate me while in traveling to Hastings for my nannas funeral. Emma and Brett are amazing along with all who work there. I have seen chiropractors for over 16 years and First Chiropractic are on par with the best. Thanks guys. [Highly Recommend] I have been taking my 5 month old daughter to see Emma because she was unsettled, fidgety, stiff when being held and didn't enjoy tummy time or lying on her sides. I felt that because of this she wasn't reaching her developmental mile stones. Within two visits I noticed a major difference. She is much more relaxed, wriggling around enjoying her tummy time and rolling onto her sides. We really look forward to our appointments and would highly recommend First Chiropractic in Hastings.

Hi there. I have been having treatment with Soman for about 12 months. Excellent outcomes. We have worked predominantly on my back - I have long term scoliosis and kyphosis (sideways spinal bend and hunch) Following the course of treatment I have significantly more flexibility, strength and much better posture. I whole heartedly recommend First Chiropractic and particularly Soman. I anticipate having monthly 'top-up' sessions to ensure the great results will be maintained.
