M.Absolutely beautiful location. The views from the temple are lovely. The missionaries inside are friendly and helpful. There is so much beautiful artwork and information in the visitors center. I loved this place!
C.Every visit I've made has been full of peace and beauty. I love the temple lit up at night. The Christmas lights during the holiday season are wonderful. This place is a must-see whether you are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or not. Come and see.

G.The temple is closed for a few years of total refurbishment. The thing of most interest is the museum upstairs in the old library building. A very large and professional museum display showing the history of the Mormon church throughout the South Pacific islands.
P.At Christmas the gardens on the hill leading to the temple are decorated with fairy lights. Quite spectacular.Although the temple was closed, we thoroughly enjoyed walking the nearby Labour Missionary park. It was serene and beautiful with a sense of history. We can't wait to return when the temple is open.

D.I worked there for 9weeks it was an honor to be in the temple it was looking awesome when I left with oak architraves and marble skirting, marble every where, large mirrors wow will be going to the opening not sure when
S.I love this temple, although it is not open to the public the visitors center is right next to it and they have lots of helpful information about the Temple and the Church. This building is a special place and has a beautiful spirit. Definitely a place to check out if you're ever in the area. My favorite time is Christmas time, the temple is decorated with lights and everything! Beautiful!
M.Soon to be closed (2018-2021), this stunning temple and grounds have been a visual, cultural and spiritual asset the the people of many nations. For many years this was the only temple in the Oceania region, and many scrimped and saved for their passage here, and it was all worth it! So beautiful ^.^
L.The area was closed no doubt due to the building work underway. Scaffolding etc obscured the view of the temple and I wasn't able to see information on site about the work being done. Which was a pity as I would have been interested to know what they were doing and how long the project was expected to last.

A.I love this temple. I know that this is literally the house of the lord as i can always feel the presence of God just being around this place. One of the reasons why one can feel this is because of the sacred ordinances performed by the authority of our father in heaven to bind us together forever as well as obtaining salvation.

C.The Hamilton Temple is currently CLOSED for major renovations, and no casual visitors are allowed on the construction site. It is expected to reopen again sometime in 2021. The opening and re-dedication will be preceded by an OPEN HOUSE with free tours for the public, so keep an eye out for that in 2021! This will be a great chance for everyone to look inside the Temple! Following the open house and re-dedication, admittance will again be limited to members of the Church holding a Temple Recommend.

W.Greetings, my name is Whare Dewes and I love the Temple. In the New Zealand Temple I was sealed to my wife and children. I hope some day I will be sealed to all my families near and far. We can do it by the help of Heavenly Father but let his will be done and not my will. What ever Heavenly Father says I will agree. The Temple is big with many ordinances and so God bless you all.
I.The place where my family became eternal!! I love visiting the Temple. It's a place of peace and tranquility and somewhere i go to feel the Holy Spirit. I know that its the house of the Lord and a beacon of light and truth.

J.In New Zealand, the Hamilton Temple is the most sacred place of worship for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints aka Mormons. I live in Hamilton and was married to my wife here, for time and all eternity, not just 'til death do you part'. The priesthood power to 'bind on earth and in heaven' (Matthew 16:15-19) was restored through prophets in modern times.
People wanting to learn more about the temple are encouraged to use the visitors center opposite the temple to do so.
