I've purchased some fabulous wool from The Wool Company. There is a great Catalogue with clothing for the family (lovely baby clothing for gifting!) and sooooo much lovely Merino! Friendly prompt service, despatch and delivery.

From driving pass for years always at the wrong time for open hour we finally entered this old building to a great surprise as it's showroom is lovely with amazing range of products. The ladies & gents were a treat and not expected from the outside apparently of the building. The quality of products and prices were good compared to tourist outlets. Best wool at a great price. I pop in and I also buy online. The colours are great. Wool is soft and reasonably priced.

A great place to find if you are looking for authentic woolen and possum fur garments. Excellent range and are well priced, particularly the Brass Monkey thermals and underwear. Suprisingly, it is also a great place for authentically styled tweet flat caps and other woolen hats. If you want to knit your own, there is a good range of pure wool and Marino yarns to get you going. Very helpful staff, and they certainly know many things about the products in store. So come here for a bargain and some authentic New Zealand woolen wares.

Great shop for natural fiber clothes, lovely friendly staff and a nice place for a little stop and look. Only thing it's missing is a intimate little cafe area...nothing too extravagant, maybe tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a scone or slice would take this place to the next level.

He even bought a scarf to wear when we go south to the West Coast. I normally find wool itchy but the merino underwear is so nice and comfortable. We always stop here at Uticu as we drive south through the North island. Dont blink, you'll miss the turnoff. A large choice of great Marino and Possum wool products and although quite expensive they are worth it. They also have a dependable and reputable catalog mail order department. I love them!
