A.As an outlet store it has a rather limited selection (as you would expect), but the service was friendly and attentive, and I got what I was after.

It's a small store, with reasonable pricing. And not a huge range.
W.I loved the place. Here in the Wellington, it's difficult to find a place where you can buy cheap as well as quality Winter clothes but this place is the combination of both. Different varieties of clothes are also available like Half/full jacket, 3 in 1, 5 in 1 jacket etc. I have bought one 5 in 1 jacket only in NZ$280 ($240 less than the Macpac brand one).

R.A humble store in size but if you're looking to buy kathmandu its right in the middle of town with easy access via public transport and if you're lucky you could get a park nearby. But i have to say don't count on getting an easy park because, no fault of the store its just how the town is.
You could just drop in to look at the selection they got and they also have online ordering.
(Ps; for those who don't know about Kathmandu is an outdoor weather gear and garment shop so if you're looking to buy something to keep you warm or dry its a good bet.)
T.Very nice little store with very good discounts. If you don't mind having some last year outdoor gear (which I absolutely don't mind at all). This is the place to go.
M.I like Kathmandu items and mostly when they are on sale. They also support fair trade and that encourages me to support Kathmandu. I have not had any problems with any of the Kathmandu items that I have bought thus far. The staff too are always helpful and cheerful.
J.There was a sale on which is the normal state of affairs. The standard prices are high and there are almost always specials. The actual items for sale are generally ok in terms of quality.
S.This is undoubtedly New Zealand's favourite outdoors store.
As someone coming in from India I do find it are not expensive especially when the sales are not on.
What do you do get what you pay for and it is still a tad bit cheaper than North face!
I have the expedition series puffer jacket and I absolutely dig it!
As for the store well it is quite big with plenty of options, and helpful staff.
If you're looking for a selection of tents and I'm not a hardcore camper I suggest you will get cheaper options for a one-time or do you use at places like Warehouse!
Kathmandu is into making serious outdoor Gear so unless it is a jacket or pants you're gonna use everyday for one off adventures there are cheap adoptions certainly available!

B.Good to get some older, cheaper items, especially if about to head to the snow. We picked up quite a few items for adults and kids, ahead of going to Queenstown.
M.This branch of Kathmandu is located in Mercer St. opposite The Village Goldsmith and the Wellington Civic Square. It often carries discounted but limited stock. If you're a fan of Kathmandu products (which are quality but pricey) it pays to check their store during end-of-season sales first perhaps. K is often the undisputed, go-to store for those planning trips into areas of extreme conditions where safety is paramount. If you can't find what you seek here try their larger shops in Willis / Jackson Street (Petone).
B.A little unorganized and small. Expected more old models but just usual clearence as normal stores. Still quality products as usual

Despite being a clearance outlet the range is well presented
p.Better value for money than mainstream kathmandu stores, but can still be too expensive for certain items. I got some clothes as a bargain but some are not so reasonable.
