M.Such a lovely spot located a little further past the main shops in Arrowtown. Food and coffee were great. Nice atmosphere. Busy. Dogs welcome. 🐕
A.BEAUTIFUL presentation and tasty ingredients. Came here for brunch with friends. Oat milk flat white was only alright but the plates we received were amazing. I ordered the bruschetta but with the pumpkin sourdough. I loved the tangy balsamic flavor with the goats cheese. Really lovely and refreshing meal and reasonably priced.

There's plenty of tables inside, but on a sunny summer day the garden is perfect for lunch.
We skipped the famous stickybuns for a salad, and all day breakfast French Toast, and enjoyed the quiet, and the views of the hills overlooking the garden.
Service was efficient, friendly, and food was very nice.
Worth the extra block walk for the meal and the setting.

M.A favourite of ours for it's pretty garden, great coffee and yummy food. We usually pick up a jar of delicious chutney while we're there. In our opinion one of the best cafes in Arrowtown which is blessed with good cafes. Update from Sept 2020 - same pretty sunny garden and scrumptious food. Couldnt find their yummy chutney.
A.Loved my lunch here. The menu was super varied with lots of options for people with differing dietary requirements. I love that they use fresh and local produce and everything looked really well presented and tasty. The staff were busy but still had a smile. The cafe is comfortable with a range of seating options inside and out. I'll be back!

L.Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in NZ!
Definitely worth venturing off the main strip for a meal at Provisions. A converted old house, the restaurant has ample outdoor seating in a nice garden setting as well as several tables with comfy cushions inside. Fast service, friendly servers, wifi and OMG the food!
The menu has a variety of great sounding dishes, and a bakery case loaded with gorgeous treats, but I settled on a flat white (espresso is on point) and salmon Benedict. I was totally impressed! The salmon was fresh, hollandaise flavorful, eggs perfectly poached and the au gratin potato stack a unique side I would go back for that alone. All that complimented by the lovely service from Sue; I cannot recommend Provisions of Arrowtown enough!
J.I used to come here EVERY time I visit and I will still continue to, but something changed this year. The lady in short dark brown hair who was usually friendly and talking about the great sticky buns wasn’t as friendly as previous years (ie: 2010 / 2011). I came for two days and wasn’t given much friendly service. Don’t want to start guessing what’s the reason, or if it was just a few bad days.. but felt the service wasn’t friendly vs the other customers. Plus the sticky buns weren’t as good as before ... pic of the sticky buns in 2010 which were warm and good (same lady behind the buns but during friendlier times). Sticky buns in 2018 which were COLD and not heated up but still ok.
Was tempted to give 2 stars, but give it 3 stars since the coffee is great
M.Love the place! It feels like home. They have varieties of excellent food and drinks that you would love it! Place your order and they will come served to your table outside. Very relaxing place...!
J.Situated in the gorgeous Arrowtown, Provisions is certainly the best coffee around. Not only that, but it offers excellent food choices and plenty of seating - indoor and out.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the coffee is smooth and well made - can be a little weak however.
A must if you're in the Arrowtown area.
v.Great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The place itself is lovely: on a sunny day you can sit outside feeling like your are having a fancy pic-nic in the park, among pear trees and flowers. The food is simple and delicious, very fresh and tasty ingredients and nice presentation. In my experience of one visit, the service was among the fastest in NZ (finally!). Would go back again.

M.We had a good view while we enjoyed our meal. The menu is quite healthy which is a plus although the avocado bruschetta came with white bread. The bread was also a bit soft, but other than that nice staff and an amazing cafe surrendered by beautiful mountains.

J.Everything is perfect, except the old lady (owner/manager). The attitude, poker face and sour voice is totally pull down the quality of the “must visit cafe in Arrowtown”.
When I were make an order for my family, the young lady is super nice and friendly. The old manager stand next to her and gave me a white eyes when we are talking about the difference between Hot chocolate and Balies hot chocolate. Unfortunately I saw her rolling her eyes!
Then the whole experience was great during the young lady served us and the surrounding people are friendly. In the end of our coffee time, my father and my sister’a husband need to went to bathroom. And the old lady (manager/owner whatever) told them to leave and went outside the public bathroom because she thought they are not buying anything.
Fortunately, my sister’s husband took a picture of the drinks and shown it to the old lady as a prove of they are the customer!!! Then the old lady allow their use the bathroom. But without an apology!!!!!
They went back to our table and told me this awkward situation and make me very uncomfortable! I went to the front desk and told the old lady “Thank you for your WONDERFUL coffee” and leave.
The first mind in my mind is she is racist. Because of we are Asian, and the day we went to this store there are plenty of white people. However, I read the other comments found that is not about racism because others also experienced the same sour situation from the old lady in the cafe.
Secondly, I assumed that she is homophobia. Because that day I wear full make up walked in the store. Hahahaha, maybe I am too pretty? Just kidding.
I do will recommend this place for a drink but just ignore the old lady.

V.This seemed to be a cafe frequented by locals and is a block down from the main area of Arrowtown where all the tourists wander around. Healthy food, Vegan options, almond milk! nice people, very packed on a Sunday lunch, little birds waiting for nibbles outside.

G.Annie from the Information Centre recommended my friend and I this cafe for coffee. Little did I know that they had mouth watering sticky scrolls and an amazing menu of home style buckwheat pancakes and a toasted salmon and cream cheese bagel! The coffee was so good, and so too was the ambience of the outdoor garden area!

B.Most importantly: This is purely a review of food from the case and not ordered off of the menu. I love carrot cake but unfortunately the one I got here was dried out(there was still about 3/4 of the cake left) and I would probably consider it more of a spice cake than carrot as I didn’t see any of the standard innards of a carrot cake like carrot, nuts, or raisins. The pumpkin lasagna had great flavor but unfortunately both mine and my partners came out barely heated and took quite a while to hit our table even though it was already cooked and just needed to be heated.
The staff were good, the place was cute and parking was easy enough.

A.First time ever after 3 years in Queenstown. Why did it take me so long? I missed out for three years a lovely place for either a breakfast with friends or on your own, with the family or with the dog.
Any occasion are good to enjoy the delicious food with a bespoke menu for any dietary requirements.
The back garden is as pleasant as the food, well presented, in your plate.
Perfect place for a Sunday scroll in Arrowtown.
D.The minute I walked in, it was that arriving home feeling. Greeted by two beautiful smiles and made to feel welcomed and that I was the first people they were seeing of the day (its was 2:33pm)

H.Loved this place, what a find! It pops up pretty high when googling "Arrowtown cafe" so I thought it would be overrun with people on a Saturday morning but it actually wasn't too bad thankfully. I had the grilled peach bruschetta, I've never had a brunch like it, how refreshing to find such unique twists on the menu! It also had feta, perfectly poached eggs and proscuitto. The coffee was a little strong for my liking but it was still tasty. The location is cute and quiet, just a bit further along the main drag than all of the other shops and cafes. They also sell their own fresh bread, which was some of the best bread we've ever had! We live an hour away in Wanaka but we'll be driving back just for the bread, that's for certain!
M.Great cafe in Arrowtown. If you are GF then they have plenty of options and bake fresh bread each Sunday if you want to take some home. There is also a lovely garden to enjoy your food but can be tricky to find a seat on a busy day.

P.Very lovely and tiny Caffè in Arrowton. You enter trough a gate into a beautiful cosy garden. The ambience is just like Arrowton itself, old school and just welcoming. Prices are normal and selection is big enough. Very nice staff, my coffee was very bitter. So I told them about it and got two new coffees right away. Just wonderful and definitely recommend!
A.Pricey. I got chips without aoili as it had raw egg and i was pregnant. Instead of substituting a different sauce, they made me pay 4.5 extra to get a side of avocado dip. The hot chocolate came out luke warm.
