J.I really like the atmosphere and the intricately crafted interior - the garden fresh feelings coupled with beautiful architecture adds up to the spectacular satisfaction while savouring the delicious and “just right” taste of freshly baked salmon. My fave mocha is perfect… cakes and pastries cannot be faulted! A divine place to catch up with family and perfect place to chill with friends.
S.It was an amazing atmosphere and vibe. Everyone was super helpful with menu suggestions and then one of the person incharge also came to check in to see how things were going. Nice personal touch to add to the experience. My family enjoyed the visit and we will be back.
J.Entering the indoor/outdoor mall, there is one place that draws every passerby's attention; Divine Patisserie. With it's cherry blossom pink colour scheme matched with white marble, gold and neon white, it's truly a visual delight to behold.
Walking towards this pastel pink paradise, our eyes satisfied but our tummies craving fulfillment.
It was boxing day Sunday at lunch time so it was populated but not overly crowded. There was a clearly defined entrance and exit, which may be because of Covid, or to just attract people to where all the desserts and sweets are displayed.
After scanning our passes, Our party of 3 (7 later) were seated in a booth that is surrounded in pink flowers 🌺. There is a mirror high up on the ceiling bouncing the light, colours and expanding the already spacious area. The booth was comfy, with a smart area to store bags or purses in the corners.
After a brief wait our waiter took our order using a tablet which ensured our order would be correct and also looked professional.
During our wait we were offered a high chair for our baby daughter and some colouring paper and crayons. Which was unexpected but very thoughtful. The staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for.
We noted that from the pepper and salt to the wooden spoons used for marking table numbers, that everything seemed beautifully homemade and fit into the floral theme. Obviously a lot of thought and love going into everything.
Our sweets and drinks arrived quickly, and served with gold cutlery. As you can see from the photos, they were elegantly plated.
As expected everything was divine, the Iced Chocolate was the best iced chocolate I have ever had (I have had many), and the Passionfruit and Chocolate Gateaux was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy.
The rest of our party arrived and the staff were very quick to offer moving another table over to the booth so we would all be together.
We ordered our lunch and enjoyed the spectacular ambience. It has a large open plan with a central pink tree, carefully decorated in all manner of femininity. Which for a wedding reception, baby shower or girls birthday party, would be the perfect place.
Most of us ordered the new crumbed chicken and as the cafe's name suggests, it was divine. Crunchy exterior coating a moist chicken with a creamy garlic butter filling 🥰. This was accompanied by 2 selected side salads which were also fresh and tasty. Recommend the walnut and apple salad.
We stayed for almost 2 hours trying different things. The different flavoured gateaux were the biggest hits, but if you have the time and hunger, try as much as you can.
With the quality of the dishes, we were very happy the value was high, as the cost was lower than expected.
Overall the experience was amazing, so we booked again for today.
If you are in Auckland, whether a tourist or local, I recommend this unique patisserie experience. The girls in your life will love it, maybe the boys too.

Not only was the food absolutely stunning, the service was just AMAZING. All the workers were so friendly and polite! The manager was a very pretty girl called Winnie and she was VERY kind and even drew an adorable bunny on top of my hot chocolate! It completely made my day.
T.Firstly everything is halal! The whole pink experience is unique and very refreshing. The owner coming to introduce herself and chat adds that extra special professional yet homely touch. The high tea tiered treats were exceptionally tasty. I loved every minute of my time there. Great company … great atmosphere!

I ordered the Rose Latte and it was good, the rose taste and smell was not overpowering, it was perfect. I recommend the Carrot and Walnut cake (this is what I had too) and my friends recommends their Banoffee pie.
You have to call to reserve a booth if you are dining with a group.
B.The atmosphere and decorations were amazing. I ordered the Keto Baked Salmon, which was simply "divine". It tasted very fresh and was perfectly cooked. My friend ordered the Coated Stuffed Chicken, which according to her was very juicy, the stuffing and sauce was perfect. The quiche was really good as well. We loved the presentation of the dishes and enjoyed every bite. The drinks we ordered were also very nice and delicious. It blows me away how they make these pretty patterns on the top!! Halfway through the meal, a lady came to our table and introduced herself as the owner of Divine Patisserie and asked us how was our visit so far. She was very elegant and nice, befitting the amazing establishment. She had 10/10 service and was very polite too.

L.I just love this place, with it's interesting decorations and I do love the sweet pastries as well. With options for anyone with a sweet tooth as well as savoury lunch or snack options. Everyone is also super friendly and helpful. Great service 🙂

We were a group of 11 ladies and not only were we impressed by the decor, the pretty tea pots, cups and cutlery, cakes and sandwiches - the waitering staff, owner and cashier were all attentive, friendly and made our experience special. It was my birthday celebration but I didn't give this info when I booked, so when the owner found this out later, some of the the staff came over with a pretty cupcake and candle singing Happy Birthday. An unexpected little surprise. Over weekends, bookings are essential as they get quite busy. We had the high tea menu and it was quite generous with each of us taking left overs as a take away. Would highly recommend as a treat, for celebrations and just to enjoy all the prettiness! ❤
L.The place and ambiance is definitely Insta worthy. However if you ask is the friendly on your pocket I would say prices almost match five star restaurant. A drink would cost you $12. I ordered pink lemonade. This was not frizzy and was very tangy. On Sunday they close at 5 so if you go there at anytime after 4 you only served in takeaway containers as they are preparing to close. You do not get those pretty pink plates as you see on there website or Insta page.

A.Divine Patisserie is the one store that stands out among all the others at Ormiston. It was visually appealing and its eye-catching decoration is just as divine as its food. I had the Rose Latte. It was fragrant and not too overpowering, its subtle flavors were perfect and the presentation was elegant. It felt as though my mouth had been blessed! The service was excellent. A woman named Kristine, who was the barista, was very kind. Kristine and the rest of the workers made sure I felt satisfied. The store was beautifully decorated and gives off a nice, cozy, and romantic atmosphere.

P.Very pink!!! My husband didn't particularly love it but I enjoyed it. The booths are quiet but there's hardly any table space. The pastries are nice but a little bit more expensive than other cafes, which is expected due to decor. The Avocado and pineapple herbal tea is delicious!
P.First time visit. Went with a friend who loves anything similar to French pastry sweets as she spends a lot of time in France. We were both impressed with service, decor and our sweet treat. If you love pink you will love their decor. We had the mango and salted caramel gateau and coffee. Simply yum and devine. We will be back.
V.Such a beautiful place and interior concept and decoration is totally different ❤️❤️. I doubt there is any other cafe as beautiful as this one all over in NZ. We been there 2 weeks ago first time and I would say this is one of the best places to go in Ormiston mall.
Its not only the interior, food was very nice and really like taste of coffee. They have more variety of sweet items and have beautiful shapes and designs. Owners are really nice and friendly. They take care of all their customers very well and meet the expectations of what customer wants. Will definitely join you again.

q.I have been here with my family today. It was absolutely amazing experience. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time there.
The Atmosphere, the food, the staffs, everything was perfect. Especially Winnie, a very lovely girl, she looked after us so well.
We have been there earlier than our booking time, Winnie allowed us sit on the other table waiting for our time. She also came to our table checking if we need anything else. Very nice. Will difinitely go back.
C.It's a gorgeous Pink Palace serving savory & sweet treats. A nice spot to visit if you are out on a date or going to the movies. A bit pricey but worth it. Customer service is also premium.

J.Sooooo PINK. Beautifully decorated interior, perfect for snapping some pictures! The savory food was mediocre; ordered the salmon and cream cheese bagel (?) but the bagel was super hard to cut after being re-heated. The emerald latte (matcha latte) was really quite average and didn't have an authentic matcha flavour like the taste when you use matcha powder. The sweets were good, but still nothing out of this world. Definitely a place more for the visual attraction rather than the food. Great service though!
C.Have been meaning to go here for a while. Was in the centre to collect another item and we walked past and thought we'd try it. So glad we did! The service was amazing, friendly, laid back and family orientated. It's such a beautiful place (we arrived in sports gear after training) and they made us feel so at home. It definitely shouldn't matter what you wear but I just wanted to be better dressed because it was such a beautiful setting. However as I said they just made us feel so welcome and told us not to be silly that it's a laid back vibe. We ordered some cakes. Wow, amazing! We will definitely be back and for us, good customer service is so important and theirs is spot on! Don't miss out on this place 🥰

N.A stunning atmosphere for celebrating your special day or to satisfy your sweet tooth ..... customer service is at its paramount, a bonus is that they're all good photographers. However, there are two staff that really stood out every visit. Special thanks to the Pacifica lady and the tall middle eastern lady (sorry dont know your names). But these two ladies always make you feel welcomed and at ease. Making the overall experience pleasant, for all age groups. Highly recommend to visit once, because you'll definitely be a returning customer.
N.We had a lovely child free lunch at the cafe. We enjoyed a high tea with coffees - so much food we had to take a doggie box home! Delicious and wonderful service. There was a little hiccup - but they sorted it with grace, apology and gave us even more food! Lovely team. Highly recommend.

s.We had dinner the other day. It's an amazing classic place if you want to experience something different and special then don't wait just go for a visit. You will not find any other place like this in NZ. What we have noticed - Quality food 10/10 , excellent sitting plan, great environment and service. It's not an ordinary coffee/cake shop , highly recommended to those who want to experience a great environment and looking for quality food. Welldone to the team and the owners who have put so much effort to built this unique place in Ormiston Town center.

J.Food and drinks were lovely unfortunately the service was rather lack lustre. Lots of staff milling about avoiding eye contact. We saw a bunch of people waiting to be served who ended up just walking away. A shame as it was such a lovely atmosphere other than having to wait so long for any service.
A.One of the best place for the lunch and breakfast. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Its the real taste of food and pastries. The environment is like you are in some paradise. The owners and staff are very friendly. Must visit this place.
a.Went mother's day. Rang and booked in advance. They were very disorganized, ran out of certain salad items. The high tea was well presented but still crusts on the sandwiches. The keto salmon was overcooked and it was meant to come with 2 salads but I only got one. Coffee was ok, not hot and a bit watery tasting. The staff were very helpful and tried their best, the management need to front up more and get their act together.
The pattisere are very good, it was overall disappointing. Not bad but just ok. Sadly I will only have a takeaway treat from their.

They’re extremely busy, however, I feel that if they don’t get some of the basic details and staff trained, (who were all lovely and smiling) the novelty will soon wear off, especially at the prices being charged and the time limits on your booking.
Disappointed with the attention to basic details of a cafe. Desserts were brought out 10 minutes before coffees, no water or anything else offered. I had to get up and ask for a small fork for the cakes, a large dinner fork had been provided. No easy access to water, so had to wait until someone was passing by but they were busy, so in the end I got up to get it myself. Also why were there raisins in my cream tea scones? So wrong!!! Worth a visit once with friends for an Instagram/FB photo.

The cakes and tea were good. My only suggestion would be the breakfast could be better we had eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs on ciabatta with the tiniest bit of salad. I just feel it could’ve been bigger and better. I reckon they could even stick to just cakes, shakes, tea coffee and some cabinet food. The staff were great. Will come back for sure

V.Ambience and decor were absolutely gorgeous!
However, the food is very expensive and mediocre - cabinet food re-heated to warm, not hot; the chocolate cupcake icing (usually something I love) tasted like they put in too much margarine and was unappealing.
Really did not meet expectations, as desserts were displayed on a side cabinet and priced as though they were a specialty.
P.This place is really awesome for celebrations .I really like the service, The owner of the cafe was soo nice and she personally asked us about the service.It was great family time we spent there I really like the decoration it's soo photogenic if you really like to click the photos must go there and even cupcakes was soo soft and delicious..
B.Everything was fantastic! Only thing, they should make more of their tea flavours available for high tea. And the sandwiches we too big. Maybe cut it into fours instead of halves? Apart from that, the food was delicious and the atmosphere equally delightful. The owner, Razma, is very kind and attentive.

P.Absolutely beautiful pastries, desserts and cakes. The staff were absolutely lovely and attentive. Very patient. I believe it was Emerald and Tina I could be wrong but they were so kind. Amazing service from the three young girls, one I cannot remember the name of. We had a 1 and a half year old and my grandmother too, they were very calm and relaxed with us. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone I know.

H.This place is so wonderful, a very girlie and romantic atmosphere. It was my first visit with my friends, we recieved a very polite customer service from the booking staff and the waitress, the place was prebooked and filled, but as a walk-in customer we got a table with a one hour time slot, we were quite happy with this, we finished around 40 minutes. I had some questions about the food preparation which only the owner could answer, and thankfully she was present, what a delightful beautiful personality, she was so helpful in answering my questions and very welcoming. Really, should not judge this place with the bad reviews on Google/internet, it was maybe a untrained or one-off experience. We ordered some coffee, desserts and panini, we loved it, give it a 10 out of 10. Halal friendly and also vegetarian friendly options.

Staff are very polite, pleasant and accommodating, however the person at the cashier seemed like she was being forced to work today....Was very unpleasant, no smile while taking orders from customers, even spoke rudely to the guy standing beside him with the laptop (appeared to be the owner). s.Beautiful Ambience but sweets are overpriced and little in sizes. I ordered extra hot cappuccino but it was warm and below average taste. They need to improve their quality otherwise it will be only one time thing for people.

I.Heard about this place from my girlfriend and had to check it out. Luckily I managed it before lockdown. Love this place, from their well stock food cabinet, full of yummy bites, to high tea style of organic tea selection, among other choices of cold drinks and coffees. Most definitely go there again with my besties. I recommend booking your table to avoid that que, oh and I suggest smart casual wear to compliment the beautiful decor.

J.Concept intriguing, execution flawed. Stopped in out of curiosity with the family and, like many others there, was tempted to visit based on pictures posted on the Web.
I really wanted to believe we discovered another gem but was somewhat let down . The front of house was pleasant and efficient but after that, all went South. Our pastries were delivered first but our drinks did not turn up till we were almost finished with our sweets. You get the impression that they are not very organised.
They can take a lesson from many other well run cafes with a superb selection of pastries too, on the Shore.
Sadly, but realistically, three stars is the max I can rate them.
W.Beautiful people & place. Such a nice way to unwind. Food is a tad expensive (my own opinion) however delicious!! Best to book table in advance and arrive early! (It gets really busy) Overall experience 11/10 🌸 Thankyou.

A.It is a very pretty place offcourse. Food are not really that good to be that expensive. Just too fancy but thats all about it. Their cupcakes are not fresh, its hard only buttercream is fresh. Just too expensive. Customer service is poor, so after 5mins after getting all our food on the table and before we ate it the lady came up to pay up our food, so we did! After that payment we ordered two more cupcakes and paid at the counter and while about to eat those cupcakes the lady came again that we needed to pay for that last 2 cupcakes. Told her we already did. Then 2 mins later the other lady came trying to explain to us that we paid the first payment and not the second one. She made us frustrated and not enjoying our food. Lost the excitement already. Showed her the bank transaction but still trying to explain herself. First experience and we weren't really happy. First and last time for us.

K.Even though it was busy, the staff was lovely. They clearly had to hustle about but they were quick with a smile and their service was superb.
Nothing beats a lovely cup of tea and a scone in such a cute flower bomb of a venue.

P.Very busy place but so easy to see why. Ooooooohhhh the decor is enough to make you mealt. The cakes and slices are a work of art and the staff are polite and as sweet as their cakes. Definitely coming back as it now seems we have a hankering to try each type of cake and drink.
S.The taste of desserts is spot on, and the ingredients used seem good quality too. The meringue buttercream cupcakes are yummy as well. Me and my partner loved the spicy carrot and pistachio cake(worth a try).
The mocha eclair was had a balanced flavor, and me and my friends also liked the chocolate and pecan dome(the base was very crunchy and complimentary to the smooth mousse on top). Kudos to the chef !
Only one issue was that some of the desserts lack consistency in looks, like the cupcakes had different heights in buttercream, I wouldn't like my cupcake with less buttercream than my friend's ;)
Friendly staff but please improve the coordination of staff in service. This is an amazing concept here in Ormiston, and we would like to see this thrive!
J.Beautiful beautiful cafe with even better desserts. I’ve come three times since opening day and loved every visit. The staff are so lovely and polite, which makes the experience really lovely. Today I had the Dark Chocolate and Passionfruit gateaux, baklava and a sweet chai latte. Sooooo good!
A.I have not yet come across a cafe as beautiful as this in Auckland. The staff are polite, courteous and attentive. I especially enjoyed the Rose latte, Whitaker’s chocolate cake and a cheeky duffin. I took away some macarons. Delicious! Keep up the good work. So grateful to have you here in Ormiston!

r.oh my my, Divine Patisserie is such a beautiful and aesthetic place! Went on a coffee date with my sister and tried out baklava, couple of cupcakes and mocha- everything's so delicious. Will definitely come back for more :)
S.Confused customer service. They couldn't handle the crowd confidently. Desert items pretty average. Place very well made. Very pretty to take pics. Worth one visit but at the moment felt it was over hyped .

s.Reasonably well presented ambian,staff was very politeand helpful. Lovely and very polite manager, she kept saying sorry to us cuz we are waiting for a table for 20 mins (we had no booking oops). Quality of food and coffee was good, good for families :))
