Haven’t had this nice coffee in so long. Thank you so much! Food was 10/10- loved the crispy kumara chips, bene was super soft and your c.service was super nice👍🏻

Food was good and service great. Tables could be better spaced apart.

Definitely 5-stars. The creamy mushrooms devoured and declared "best ever", and the kids mini pancakes were thoughtfully plated, with the components separate on the plate - ideal for kids to add what they want, how they want. Lovely service too. Definitely recommended.

Food was pretty good but came out quite slowly. Servers didn’t have the best English and didn’t quite understand what we were after. Good local food though and would still recommend. Nice and clean, and nice cabinet pastries to chose from.

Nice little Local Café. I love some of the menu that seems a little lost in translation :) Especially the “Hot Chicken good V’agel” which I’m sure makes sense to some. I had the whitebait omelette which was ok. 4/5. Would have been a 5 if the bread was fresh. The breakfast platter is awesome and the green smoothies are great. Lots of Gluten Free options too. We will be back - Fika with me: just make sure you always have fresh bread :)

Beautiful cafe in the centre of Birkenhead. So many times I have walked pass but never went in! until finally went last weekend and oh boy the food is delish and great coffee too. For for the corn bread as in picture 2. definitely will go back . Service 5* as well.

One of my great local cafes. The food is devine with some different flavour combos that are great. Like the cornbread eggs, waffles or chilli eggs. The service is great very attentive. Prices also very reasonable not overpriced like some places around the area. They have some nice sweet treats in the cabinet as well....

Simply Amazing! We were only looking for a cafe to get out of the rain but instead found a very special place indeed. Staff were lovely and the food was another level completely. Will definitely return!

We had very nice lunch at Fika with me. Coffee was good and the food was delicious (and very nicely presented!). Portions were very good balanced for 1 person, we didnt have any leftovers and didnt leave hungry. The interior is beautiful and cozy, music wasnt too loud. Location is very convenient, street parking is available in the area. Recommending and would totally go there again.

Great food! Eggs bene with chicken was excellent! The chai could have used a bit more syrup, but overall the experience was wonderful! The staff member was incredibly friendly, the place looks very nice, and has a nice homely atmosphere! Absolutely recommended!!!

I'm gonna lead with a positive, the sausage roll was amazing and fresh, and the coffee is pretty good. Sadly, today I got a brownie and it was a rock. Nice chocolate flavor but really tough, can't even stick the plastic knife in it at force 😂😅 gotta dip it in the coffee like a biscuit to soften it up to eat

Good service and ambiance, the food itself tastes decent but the portion size is quite pathetic (I ordered a vegetarian bagel) for $15. Photo attached. Guaranteed to still be hungry afterwards.

Muffin + coffee offer they run during weekday is very tempting. They bake most of their muffins and croissants in-store which ensures freshness. Coffee is always good, flat white is made flat white, not latte. Bagels are slightly undersized in my opinion though, as was mentioned by one of the previous reviewers.

This is my new go to brunch place. Food is absolutely delicious. Service is great. Only thing I don't like is the water. They put a certain herb or something in the water flask with a lemon peice. The herb makes the water taste quite bitter so I don't drink it. The food is top notch though.

Service was friendly. Coffee very good and I'm a barista so very fussy with my coffee but it was perfect. Food was also very good. I had corn bread but swapped the salmon for mushroom and it was 10x yummy!

I have been numerous times for breakfast and the service has always been excellent. I have had sampled most of the items on the menu and everything has been excellent. I highly recommend the creamy mushrooms and bacon Benny. Coffee is one of the best on the Shore.

Awesome place and great service, but the highlight was the food for sure. Mushrooms were sensational and the prices ridiculously cheap, for the amount and quality of food. Thank you - we'll be back soon!

This is a great cafe. Very friendly service, the best coffee I’ve found in Birkenhead and great cafe breakfast food. I’ve tried numerous weekend brunch places in Birkenhead / Beach Haven and this would be my number one pick. Plus, the food is beautifully presented.

I love Fika. Was introduced to it via a friend and it has become one of my favourite places to eat in all of Auckland. Has a great atmosphere and superb food, and it is one place I am happy to dine at again and again. Excellent

Great food for a reasonable price, considering the location. The staff are always friendly, and we always come back. It's a shame they got rid of the 15 dollar all the best and coffee deal, perfect for us students.

Lovely cafe with a small but effective menu with great options for breakfast or lunch. The coffee is top notch & the staff are friendly & attentive. Would fully recommend if in birkenhead.
