R.Great breakfast and good value for money. This seems to be that cafe that the 'locals' go to, you won't be disappointed. Pictured is the full breakfast and french toast with a large coffee that is actually large!!
A.Great coffee, plenty of goodies in the cabinet, and love the friendly staff here. Get one of the tables outside if you can, sit back with a hot strong coffee, tasty food and just enjoy watching all the people and dogs walk by.

k.We would go for a walk along the beach and wander around the shops in Browns Bay. Walking passed Golden Sands Cafe we noticed it was busy with Customers.
So we thought we would go in and have breakfast.
So pleased we did as the service was excellent, the food and coffee delicious.
The staff make you feel welcome and very friendly.

R.Every now and then, I enjoy a good breakfast of eggs and bacon.This is why I go to Sands as they make the best scrambled egg and bacon breakfasts ever. Portions are generous, price is very good and they make it perfectly every time!. I have never been disappointed. Whenever I go somewhere else in Browns Bay, I'm disappointed - but not at Sands. Their coffee is great too. Also, try your bacon and eggs with mushrooms as they are particularly good. Great service as well. Consistently friendly! Love this Cafe but you can see that can't you :-)

S.For a small cafe in Auckland, I am glad I walked into this one! The customer service was outstanding and the ladies serving us were very welcoming and always performed their services with acknowledgement that we as customers exist. Please don’t change!!! It’s awesome to see a business that has great customer service!!

C.Their staff and food are top notch. Took my 3year old to celebrate his 3rd birthday with a family breakfast and they were very accommodating (didn't know it was his birthday untill we left). Had a wonderful experience and the food was mouth watering.
B.I went for a lunch date with my five year old today, and was really impressed by Golden Sands Cafe. My daughter had the kids pancakes from the All Day Breakfast menu. She was overjoyed when she saw her beautifully presented pancakes. We felt like a lot of love went into that plate. I had a Moroccan chicken panini from the counter cabinet, which was tasty and good value for money.
I liked everything about this cafe, from the food to the decor and the service. I'm looking forward to visiting again to check out more of the menu.

It will get a lot more popular (sadly for us, happily for the owner) but hope it can keep its standards high.

w.Wonderfully friendly staff and fantastic food for price - I had fish,chips and salad for lunch and you would certainly find it difficult to find better value. Food was fresh and well presented which maybe why it took a wee bit of time to get to the table but it was certainly worth the wait. Looking forward to heading back there soon.

A.Loved this little, unassuming Cafe in Browns Bay. Ordered a BLAT and a CBL (no A or T!) a smoothie and a coffee, and all were tasty and huge servings for about $50. Staff are super nice, accommodating to food allergies, and the food was on our table in a matter of minutes. Crunchy, thick chips are 👌
