H.Situated in the Lloyd Elsmore Park. My husband enjoyed the home made Beef Burger with fresh verges and crunchy hot chips. I loved their very tasty Creamy Mushrooms. Beautiful surroundings, relaxing place you can enjoy the afternoon.
L.Tasty meal, my mum was raving about her mushroom dish all day, and I loved the pancakes. Great for the price, good value.

B.Stopped by for lunch even though we didn't head into the Historical Village. The cafe entrance is the other side of the village entrance.
The cafe had a winter theme going on with penguins and polar bears lining most of the counter.
There were quite a few tables inside but also a few outside. We grabbed some menus from the counter and sat at a table. After picking we had to go up to order. They also had a few counter items as well which included scones and macaroni cheese.
The food was nice, well presented and tasty. Portions were alright.
Nice cafe for a lunch and you could spend an afternoon at the village afterwards for something different.

A.Surprisingly peaceful sitting on the deck. Have to be careful of the birds stealing your food, although the cafe makes you aware of the fact. The inside has that old school feel which is great as well. Food wasn't too bad, looking forward to trying more of the menu.

D.I've been in the past and it was pretty good, but this time it was average. I had the homestead breakfast, and the eggs were overcooked, and bacon is dry. Just wasn't a great meal. GF really liked the French Toast.
D.They have good food and coffee here. I had a cheese scone and it tasted great. Staff are nice. You can take your dog here. I would definitely come back here again.

D.The corn fritters here we good and came with plenty of salad, nothing to complain about. The coffee was great and the setting is very nice. Plenty of outdoor seating and a quiet, park setting. The staff were friendly.
R.As always, great food and drinks in a wonderful setting being part of the Howick Historical Village in Lloyd Elsmore Park, Howick. They have a great variety of foods on display plus extensive menu, along with a big list of all sorts of drinks, great coffee and I particularly enjoy their ham and pineapple toasted sandwiches along with a banana milkshake.

D.Beautiful, relaxing setting , lovely sunny corner table. Generous proportions and a hearty meal is what we received. A good big breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages and the works. Although it is a bit pricey, it does good for a special outing.
