R.Nice place for a quick lunch. Plenty of great choices on the menu even for vegetarians. I settled on the homemade crumpet with berry sauce.
Staff were amazing!
D.A bit worried when we arrived, knowing l’d booked a table for 10 “inside” for 11.30am 19/4/22 and were taken out to 2 tables on the Veranda where it was very windy, but after questioning the waitress we were taken back inside to our intended table. From that point on the service was excellent, food superb and everyone enjoyed the combined breakfast/lunch menu choices at midday. LOVELY LUNCH with very interesting selection on menu.
A.We had the most wonderful High Tea experience ever. The sweet and savory goodies were delicious and very beautifully presented. The stuff were accommodating and professional. Will be a regular coffee spot for us!

m.Overwhelmed with our meals, the smoked salmon crumpet and the mushroom & salsa verde foccacia. Both were excellent, simple yet delicious. Coffee was great too.
C.We ordered the slow cooked lamb crumpet and big brekkie, plus a side of shoe string fries. The crumpet was aaaamazing, and the fries and aioli was sooo fresh and light i could eat it all day. The portion of the brekkie was perfect, and the coffees were sooooo good! Quality was great, price a little on the high side.
M.Very cute little cafe situated in the Wallace Art Gallery with views over the extensive gardens and out to Onehunga. Everything is local and they do their own baking; their crumpets are a must-try! Menu is quite small but there's still something for everyone. Great coffee too.

G.Wonderful location, welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful food, delicious coffee. The cafe is located in a beatiful Homestead that also hosts an Art Gallery. We often walk up Monte Cecilia Park but there is also plenty of parking opportunities. Highly recommended.

N.Great place to take family or parents/grandparents for brunch. One of my top 3 favorite cafes in Auckland. The menu is changing and a big safe area for kids to play in. Best to book ahead to get a spot outside to avoid having to wait.

M.I had gone with my fiance and her family a couple of days ago.
The staff were all polite and more than happy to explain the menu. I could not have asked for a more friendly waitress to serve our table (blond lady with the beautiful smile!). Thank you.
As for the food, everyone was beyond happy with the diverse, yet well calibrated tastes of various meals ordered. Coffee was spot on too, so keep up the great work!

M.Nice little cafe in Monte Ceilia Park, dog friendly, lovely staff. We got the roast pumpkin salad and beef brisket pie. The salad was nice however the pie was disappointing as it was very small (entree size) and dry. Not filling at all for $22!

T.We went with friends and had in advance requested chairs with back as one person had mobility issues. On arrival, we were fairly casually told " go through and tell the waitress you are here. "There were no chairs but the bench seats. Food was pleasant and good variety. Wine serving sizes varied with each glass not a good look. Post lunch coffee took 35 minutes and the dessert arrived 5 minutes later with the order incorrect. I had been previously ( in fact I went to school there) and found it really nice but was disappointed this time. Being busy does not excuse poor service
A.Last Sunday's brunch with my wife and our friends was mint. The staff are really helpful. 1 thing to be aware of is that if it's busy then there will be a bit of a wait for your order. But the plus is that there is plenty to look at both inside & outside the Homestead
J.Delicious food (those home made crumpets are something else), prompt service, Supreme coffee.
Dogs welcome (if you go through side gate to back of cafe), staff even supplied water for pups, very enjoyable.
I.Location is really nice. For the price, food was cold and average. Service was average as well.
K.we are a little elderly regular walkers and coffee/lunch partakers here. Often bring friends from out of town....but what has happened to the outdoor seating?! Such uncomfortable benches and no room for lunch plates at such narrow tables. Sadly maybe coffe but wouldnt bring guests here again...well just for the lovely walk only, Feeling sad!
G.Quite a small dining area but could go outside ( a bit windy today). Staff were pleasant. Food was about average and came in a reasonable time. Coffee was good and strong but small cups for the above average price we paid. Prices a little on the high side generally.
M.An amazing, relaxed and friendly environment. The tofu toasted sandwich was delicious and the strawberry tea even better. A fabulous place to go to unwind :)

J.Great environment and setting...historic building, art gallery, park like reserve. We had a Reuben sandwich each. This was a refreshingly different change from most cafe food, and very tasty. My only concern was the coffee...otherwise 5 stars. The milk for my flat white had that slightly odd taste that a bit too much sunshine exposure gives.
T.Beautiful location. Good food. Peaceful. Relax and unwind. Its the best on a sunny day. Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful garden.
K.Excellent brunch. Food was both pretty to look at and delicious. I was happy to see that the ciabatta bread with my eggs wasn't dry and hard - which is my pet-peeve at most brunch cafes. The service was also very friendly. I am looking forward to coming back here soon.

L.The grounds are really lovely with sculptures scattered around. Beautifully done. Then try the coffee and cakes.

I.Very nice and family friendly cafe. We love this cafe because we can just let the kids play on the attached fenced ground and enjoy our meals and coffee. The meals are delicious but quite expensive.
J.The offering in the cafe is not extensive but what is on offer is good. I overheard staff telling another customer that renovations are taking place February 2016. The gallery and grounds are gorgeous.

A.For the 10+ times I've been here I've always had great service and great coffee (they know how to work with milk alternative - never had a burnt or lumpy flat white)
