E.This place is spacious. Great atmosphere, nice food and good coffee. We ordered fried chicken with waffle, cheese burgers and some cabinet food. However, because it is in Newmarket, it takes a while to find a car park.
G.Very cozy cafe with good quality foods and coffees.
C.Airy and plush spot tucked away behind Newmarket. They are really great at executing classic brunch things like their eggs Benedict and the French toast. Some of their more adventurous dishes are also quite nice, the chicken in the chicken and waffles were memorable, but the type of waffles are mismatched (perhaps they didn’t want the dish to feel too heavy), the salmon wild rice was nice but I couldn’t figure out what the intended cook on the salmon was meant to be. All together would recommend though, nice space to meet with friends.

A.A relaxed place to be in a quiet corner of Newmarket. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional, making sure I had everything I needed at the table. My eggs Benedict was a well balanced and very classic take on the dish, with perfectly poached eggs and a mild hollandaise. Coffee was great, and I always appreciate the option of a bottomless brew!
S.This place is a gem hidden away in Newmarket. I have lived in the area for several years and never came across this cafe, but I am so glad I have discovered this place. Great coffee and amazing food! The service was also great. Would highly recommend this place.

L’affare coffee is well known in Wellington and very glad to see if not far from home in auckland now too. Some of the best coffee you can get in NZ.
Staff were super friendly, GSOH and we’ll trained. The coffee was just perfect not too cold not too hot you burn your mouth.
Recommended stop for a bit of brunch on a Sunday!
B.Came here for a late afternoon meal. Of course the coffee is great here. A cool atmosphere inside. Very roomy for small or medium sized groups. Good is reasonable, definitely looks great on the plate! Staff are super nice and accommodating. Limited carparks at the cafe but plenty on Street parking around.
M.If you miss the decent coffee of wellington, this is the place for you. Their coffee offers extra roast aroma and bitterness which Auckland coffees don’t have. Their food is flavoursome, but could be a bit small for a dude. Also great service and ambience, 5/5.
T.L’affare Newmarket staff is super friendly and engaging and I absolutely adore their espresso. For a post lunch sweet treat we stopped in for soy and trim lattes and a homemade chocolate afghan and the coffee experience was nothing but exceptional!

V.What a great place hidden from public yet crowded. I just fell in love with this place the moment I walked in. However, I still wanted to check the menu and then I saw the filter coffee and smashed avocado on bread with great description and a poached egg 👍🏻. Honestly I didn't regret it. Great hosts , great coffee and very positive environment with smiling guests... people what else you need!

E.2nd time here, and not disappointed. Delicious food, friendly helpful service, nice relaxed space and the coffee is great too! Sorry we were hungry so just remembered to take photo before finishing. This is/was chicken waffle, partner had Luke's raman, both 5 star!
C.My rating is really 4.5 stars, it would have been 5 except for a bit of slow service at the beginning - I wasn't provided a menu for 5 minutes, and then it took another 10 minutes for them to collect my order.
Regardless, the food came out quickly and they were very generous with the bacon (and its the streaky variety!) and the coffee was nice and strong.
The lady who helped to settle the bill was also super lovely, which made up for the slow start at the beginning.
S.Welcoming cafe in an industrial space. Delicious coffee and small but good selection of pastries and other goodies in the cabinet. The courgette tart was jam packed with delicious cheesy vegetable filling.
J.Very spacious and table service is very good. They have the nicest napkins 😂 and the most of their menus come with a bit of greens so it's always feels like healthy choice. Great coffee is a given!
C.This is my second time here, it was the pork belly last time that brought me back im saddened to see it's gone! I ordered the salmon instead and that was actually amazing,,, the glaze on it.... i dont know what it is but it's o.m.g good. I had a bit of the pork belly tacos too and that was devine too! Loved the korean touch to it. Please bring back the pork belly....
N.This is a great cafe to set up in if you want to get some work done. It has a busy, creative vibe and excellent coffee. I haven't eaten here but the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Slightly slow on getting us our coffees, but it was quite busy on a rainy Auckland morning.

I have called many times in different occasions, nobody is answering. All departments are busy. Voice prompts are useless. Email response was from Wellington branch, and said that they have already passed the reservation to the Auckland branch. That very morning, my colleagues were surprised that there’s no reservation made. Good thing, that there is still a long table available. This service is frustrating. It needs a huge improvement.
The hot drinks are superb.🤩
But, some of the food are interestingly not. Sorry.
The staff are friendly as they serve us and take photos of us with smiles, except the lady (August) in the counter who had an attitude of not giving apologies, reassurance nor a smile.
C.Have been here a few times now and the service, coffee and food is AMAZING! Eggs Bene with a delicious site-made hollandaise that isn't overly sweet like many are. Avo on Toast with poached eggs - a WHOLE avocado - smashed - YUM! Thanks to the staff for making our visits so awesome😊

R.Came for breakfast after discovering it was in Auckland. No English Breakfast tea first issue. Why someone couldn't buy some teabags locally is beyond me to fill the gap. Told they were waiting for tea to come from Wellington. Ordered coffees these came in good time. Ordered food. This arrived in good time. Eggs benedict had what appeared to be a Hollandaise out of a bottle not great tasting. My mince on toast was good with poached egg on toast. Nice big open space but music too loud. It does have some parking outside which is great as normally parking around the site is full all day.

A.Amazing place, almost everything was perfect. I say almost because of one little thing - the coffee we were brought was tiny in size. Maybe we should have asked for a large size or something (not for future) but the regular size is super small. Everything else - awesome and delicious. One of the best eggs Benedict with salmon I’ve ever had, and my wife loved the poached egg with avo in toast. The place looks amazing, coffee is delicious. You can also buy the beans of different sorts to take away. A must visit and a definite Will Be Back.

V.Hands down the best place to get your coffee - be it in a cup or in a pack (freshly roasted). The quality is consistent, and the price is the best on the market.
We get our monthly supply of beans from them since last year, and our faves are the ones from Ethiopia (Homa, Yirgacheffe, etc)
E.Have been here twice - ones with just one other person and the other time in a group of 8. Both times were excellent both for food and service! The truffle scrambled eggs were incredible, and the coffee is unrivaled in Newmarket!

T.First time going for brunch at L'affare in Newmarket. Cool interior layout, food was lovely and relatively quick while it looked pretty full and busy. The trick (lucky us) is to find a car parking space nearby otherwise we wouldn't have gone there.

I ordered Six Barrel Soda 6 NZD (approx. 460 yen) because I wanted to have a cold drink because it was hot on this day
It is not distributed in Japan, but it seems like a famous product here, and the taste of raspberry & lemon was very delicious with refreshing acidity and carbonic acidity.
The shops are stylishly shaped like remodeled warehouses, and in recent years they have been steeped up in Loantary Cafe, which has been increasing rapidly in Japan, so the sense of being abroad has been diminished (in the case where Japan has just been copied) I think)
It seemed to function as a valuable rest area for nearby office workers, and it was crowded with a group of men in a suit and a woman who operated a PC
The clerk is friendly and I think it is a nice and cozy shop

主力商品は、店内に巨大なロースターを置いてるだけにコーヒーだと思います
この日は暑かったこともあって冷たい飲み物が飲みたかったので、Six Barrel Soda 6ニュージーランドドル（約460円）を注文
日本では流通してませんが、こちらでは有名な商品のようで、ラズベリー＆レモンの味がとても爽やかな酸味と炭酸ですっきり美味しかったです
お店は、倉庫を改造したようなお洒落な造りで、近年、日本でも急激に増えてるロースタリーカフェそのまんまだったので、逆に海外に居る感覚が希薄でした（日本が真似ただけだと思いますけど）
近隣のサラリーマンの貴重な休憩所として機能してるようで、背広姿の男性グループや、PCを操作する女性で賑わってました
店員さんはフレンドリーだし、居心地も良い素敵なお店だと思います
