N.We had brunch here, fantastic options to sit indoors/outdoors. I had the sweet version of the waffles and it was great. We also ordered the pork belly breakfast option, while it was enjoyable a tad light on the pork belly.
F.Very fresh and tasty homemade food. Nice table setting I loved the gentle breeze and the windchime. The food was quite tasty. If you are going to one of the nearby gardens this can be a really nice place to eat
S.Lovely owner/staff, always cheerful and helpful. Nice atmosphere inside and when the weather is good it's relaxing to sit outside in the garden by the stream. Great food and coffee too.

B.Friendly staff. Food was great with generous sized portions. It was a pleasant change of atmosphere that my family enjoyed with a down to earth family setting, sitting outside at picnic tables under sun umbrellas with 3 friendly chooks mulling around for some good quality scraps. Kids loved that! If you are looking for your typical commercial type Ponsonby style cafe, then this probably 'isnt your cup of tea' (excuse the pun) but if you seek something a little more 'country style' with a neat atmosphere then this is definitely worth a visit. There is also an indoor setting.
C.One of those great little cafes that are hidden away in small village around New Zealand. Lime Tree Cafe in Whitford is one of these. Always great food and coffee that is of excellent quality. Amanda and her helpers give wonderful friendly service. The Eggs Benedict are the best I have ordered anywhere, great value and always yummy. Well worth a visit when you are anywhere near Whitford. A.Tucked away down a side street it has a nice outdoor seating area next to creek and Mangroves. Coeliac husband so surprised there was a number of choices of gluten free food, his French toast with bacon was fab.
M.Really nice location by the river. We saw an adorable little duckling swimming along with the family.
Partner had gluten free bread with us lunch and it was the vilest thing he has ever tasted. I know GF bread is bad at the best of times but it was next level.
Food was average but maybe ok for a coffee and snack.

A.Had a latte and club toasted sandwich. Coffee was average - a bit weak for my taste the sandwich was fine. Nice outdoor area by the creek and mangroves so good area for young ones to run around. Outside seating with umbrellas.

V.The ladies are just so amazingly lovely and friendly - and - their cheese scones are the best I have ever tasted, delicious doesn't come near to describing them. The coffee is always perfect. Thank you ladies, our favourite cafe😊😊

S.Friendly and talented! I placed an order for muffins, scones and cake ahead of time for a birthday and it all went without a hitch. Everyone working that day was helpful, the baking was delicious and ready to go when everyone arrived ( cheese scones were delicious, the carrot cake was beautiful ), great coffee/iced chocolate, fantastic location on the outside tables by the river.

A.Great location, nice outdoor seating area. Meals are average, friendly but slow service, we were there for Sunday brunch and it took more than 45min to serve our meals, hope it'd improve next time, otherwise a nice little local cafe.
