The big breakfast was good ! Coffee wasn’t bad at all. The only issue was long waits for service, took more than 15 mins to take our orders. Just understaffed potentially? If you don’t mind the wait and not in a rush, then I would still recommend coming here, really enjoyed the open space/concept.

I've been here 3 times so far, and will definitely come again. We've always had good service, no issues at all. Their omelet is the best I've ever eaten, and the hash brown side is delicious. The "hush puppy" polenta lunch is certainly not a hush puppy, just fried polenta and far too salty, a disappointment. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Great food, tons of gluten free, vegan and nut free items on the menu. Great staff, and of course coffee. Espresso is as you would expect but try a single origin soft brew v60 or aeropress for something a bit more unique.

Visited Ozone yesterday afternoon with my partner. I had a banana smoothie which I really liked, but felt like it was a little too expensive ($9.50) for its size cos it came in a rather tiny glass. For the mains I had the Smoked Coopers Beach kahawai. The fancy description on the menu got me interested. I don't know what I was expecting exactly, but it was definitely not this. I didn't think smoked mussel XO would be a tartare sauce/mayo thing. The toast that came with it was also unexpected because it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the menu description, and tbh I kinda ordered it because I wasn't feeling up for bread (or carbs in general) at that moment. Felt like there was lots going on in the meal and it got a little confusing for my peasant tastebuds 😂 I didn't try the Brisket burger but my partner wasn't a big fan of it. Saving grace was the hand-cut chips that came with the Brisket Burger though – that and its complementing sauce were amazing.

The food is great, and the coffee is better. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, always happy to shed light on the different coffee beans available here- most of whome stock their own homes with the same beans.

Been coming here since 2019. Awesome coffee and delicious brunch place. The ambiance is great too in the weekends and a great place to get some work done on week days.

First impression was: this place has a queue! Must be good! Upon arriving i managed to get a seat by the kitchen, guess the line was for large groups. The place is very spacious and bright, love the way the kitchen and roasters merged so nicely with the environment. The waiter came and took our orders, and she was suuuuper friendly and helpful! Asked if we had any questions about the menu which i dont usually get! Then our orders came, we got ice mocha, and i got the eggs benedict (staple first orders for any new cafe as baseline) and my partner got the big breakfast. The coffee was soooooo good, and smooth. And the food was spectacular! Even as big breakfast the food was different, and my eggs benedict was just perfect. After our food we just had to order another coffee, and i got the cold brew with earl grey and honey infused milk - heck I'd come back even just to get that coffee! This place is definitely one of my faves for a while!! I'm so coming back!!!

What a neat place! Highlights of my visit were the coffee and vibe. Enjoyed the spaciousness and cool to see the kitchen in the centre. Looks like a great place to work and collaborate, and I think I would definitely be interested in coming back to get some work done with others. Didn't get a chance to try anything on the menu yet, but would also like to try on another visit.

I was here with a friend of mine for Brunch. As I had heard, there was a long queue outside the door :) The staff was very kind in noting down my name on his list for entry. I must say, he allowed unbiased and proper entry to everyone on the waiting list and it was really good to see that! The food was really good and so was my Vanilla Chai. Checked this place out as they are the coffee suppliers for our regular coffee joint (Geeks on Sainsbury). They occupy a warehouse in Grey Lynn with the coffee roaster section at the back and cafe at the front. Really good menu - we had the smoked fish kedgree and vegetable big brekkie and as expected great coffee. Pups are also welcome too and when we were there on a Sunday morning there were half a dozen canine families

My absolute fave brunch spot in Auckland currently. A well designed space for accomodating twos to large groups in a convenient location. Attentive and accomodating staff. Great menu that caters to dietary requirements well - vegan options, completely peanut free, gluten free alternatives. Must try the field mushroom dish. Highly recommend.

no doubt, coffee was excellent. They got various menu options. however some of them are a bit pricey as the portion's quite small. tried italy cheese pancake, thought was something sort of french crepe, however it's kinda strange, crispy and oilly, with curry on side. emmmmm......curry of italian maybe? BF had smoked fish kedegree, kind portion size, mild curry, with crispy fried shallot and poached egg on top, taaaasty.

Onzone is one of the nicest cafes/ food spots I have ever been to. It is slightly hidden in the heart of Grey Lynn. When you walk in you immediately smell the gorgeous foods and flavours and feel energy from its pumping atmosphere. The staff are all lovely, involved and take really good care of you at the cafe. WOWEEE the food. I have no words! This food is some of the nicest, well made, affordable and quick meals I've ever had. I will be back - more than once.

Overall really good experience on coffee, food and service. They use their own coffee here, roasted in house, and the standard is quite damn high, you can't go wrong with either a cold brew on tap or a standard espresso based coffee. The bustling kitchen also puts out some very decent tasting food that you get to see them compile right in front of your eyes, it's kind of exciting when you see your order get put together bit by bit and then arrive right in front of you, so I'd recommend getting a bar seat here, a much better experience if you're going as a couple or a small group. Service as you'd expect, is also on point, and I don't know how the girls did it, they were attentive, on cue and always friendly, I mean this place was PACKED, must have been over 100 people here during peak lunch times but everything just kept coming - a bit slow but can totally understand given the amount of orders piling up in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal with coffee, at $58.50 for two of mains and two coffees, it's really not bad, the portions are huge so you should definitely get a good meal out of it. If you drive, I'd park on Richmond and walk in, parking inside is very limited and you can spend ages circling for a park and not find one.

Very special coffee for very affordable price! Costa Rica geisha black honey process 3ways for $8. The flavour was phenomenal with bright yummy acidity and sweetness. They have oat milk and soy milk options too. Food was great also with some vegan and vegetarian options. Lovely people are working there too. Would love to go back there again I’m near future :)

Anazing food but me and my partner were put on to the corner seating and it made it for awkward eating , also my partner called in for a cake for desert and to write happy birthday on the desert which never happened , such a simple request for a birthday . I hope you guys read this and improve how make things a bit more comfortable if someone asks for something on there special day , simple request , thats all . Still good food tho

Nice place with a spacious seating environment. The kitchen's smacked right in the middle, for viewing pleasure. Went with some colleagues. I ordered the Lamb Burger, while they ordered 3 Pizza's and 1 Calzone. My Lamb patty was literally on the threshold of being dried out. It was edible, but completely tasteless. Had to add quite some salt and pepper to it, while the fries were over-seasoned. The only thing I enjoyed was the bottom half of the bun. As for the pizzas, it was rated as no seasoning on the pizza. Plain and stingy with toppings. All 3 pizzas weren't finished. The Calzone was probably the only dish they did well. And the coffee's good, as to be expected from a coffee roastery. All in all, coffee is good, food isn't that great. Still a good place to chill and hang out with friends. Dogs on leash are allowed in as well.

Really cool set up and awesome staff. Coffee is definitely one of the best in town. Moreover, the food was delicious!! Especially the risotto and bruschetta were super yum and filling! They are open all day which is really convenient. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing meals and amazing coffee. This place has the most impressive coffee bar I've seen in New Zealand. Beautiful area including expert Brewers brewing espresso, aeropress, batch brew, syphon, and chemex out in the open. Their coffee beans are world class and they have one of the most impressive varieties of single origin, filter, and espresso blends. Their team is super friendly and helpful. The menu is refreshing and exciting with meals on offer for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I love this place! Have been coming for coffees and had our first dinner last night. Fantastic food from a creative menu. An array of coffee options which is unique. A perfect place for a coffee connoisseur, that much is for sure. When I'm not pregnant i shall return and make my way through all the drips and cold brews and various mylks. The mince on toast was to die for, thank you. Great service too. They're all pretty hip to the jive, so expect a little coolness in their attitude. It's part of it. It's a large area so perfect for groups and prams etc too. The only thing is it can be a bit noisy, because you are in a big warehouse / coffee roastery. Recommend walking from around the corner as parking is minimal. Grab some of their beans on the way out, you won't regret it.

While the food is fairly good, it's difficult to share across a big group on a long table that wasn't big enough for our group to comfortably sit at. The biggest letdown was that the ventilation/air conditioning is NON-EXISTENT. The kitchen is in the middle of the dining area so there is no escaping the heat from the stone oven. Very unpleasant and really detracted from the evening. The staff were attentive and polite, they did their best to make the evening pleasant

Idea is great. However, my meal in the cafe was not so good. Yes, I chose badly and the team member that served me didn't pick it up that the meal coming to me was a bit short of anything other than air and lots of space on my plate..!! A recomendation of 3 maybe 4 sides would have worked well. Would expect the sincere lack of nutrient volume if it was an artistically styled amazing ingredient list with a Michelin Star service but this time they wouldn't make the grade.

One half of the restaurant has more atmosphere than the other I must say, but that’s a matter of opinion I suppose and when you’re in good company it doesn’t matter in which half you are :) At the back you’re given a good view into the factory, some more/highlighting of special features lighting would be nice, I’m interested in these places but life’s too busy to go back for this part during the day, so I would have liked to gain a snipet of what it’s about while being there. Amazing. First visit to this Grey Lynn cafe and I can see what the fuss is about. Slick industrial fitout wrapped around a central open kitchen. Inventive menu full of dishes you want to try; making decisions tricky. Well executed food too. I had the omelette and it was huge and delicious filled with asparagus and feta and topped with those moorish little fried onion things. My boys both ordered the hash brown side and crikey, also huge with 3 crispy triangles of potato each! So great value for money really. Coffee came complete with swans (which does tend to mean lukewarm but that's a teeny niggle).

Also, for the Australian soy lovers, make sure get your coffee here because Bonsoy (best soy ever) is what they use here! Super friendly, smiling staff and the vibe is just what you need. A family group of three of us ate here early on a Saturday evening. Being hungry, but indecisive we had chips and a cocktail to start. The service was on the ball and friendly while we dithered. Eventually ordered mussels, a salad and a lamb burger. The lamb burger was like an over sized slider so tricky to eat, the buns seemed a little stale. Mussels were excellent and jealousy guarded so am unable to offer an opinion on the flavour. Good craft beers on tap and the wine drinkers seemed pleased with their choice as well. Overall a welcome addition to the neighbourhood and we'll be back to sample some other dishes.
